| said: Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, also towels changed every day. The food was good but if you were late going down for dinner all the best desserts had gone.
Did'nt have any trouble getting a sunbed and towels were provided free.
Staff are very pleasant and helpful.
My only criticism would be the lack of entertainment in the evenings, it is a 15 mins walk from the town centre which is beautiful but very quiet in the evenings.

I must say that I was very, very pleased to be told I was staying at the Astoria. It was one of the hotels I had looked at going to, and I certainly wasn't disappointed.
I had a lovely room with an absolutely massive bathroom.
The hotel was very impressive, being quite modern in style, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The pool was wonderful, very peaceful and picturesque and I spent most of my days lounging around it.
The only downside was the fact that the hotel was a good 15 minutes walk into Riva and positioned in a residential area, opposite a school, but I wouldn't let that put anyone off going.
I have certainly considered going back, but for some reason I am struggling to find it available on a single room basis for a decent price.
I would highly recommend the Astoria to anyone and it is the best hotel I have stayed in for comfort and food.
