| said: Our original booking had not been with this hotel, we were only advised of transfer on arrival at our original choice.
Our room on topfloor was pleasant and clean a lovely view straight ahead of the sea. However a building site to the side of the property marred any other view,the site was also the only view from the very small and unfortunately quite ugly pool area.
No entertainment in this hotel, also no courtesy room available or even a shower,not very good if like us you have a late flight. We had to use the disabled toilet.
The hotel was apparently fully booked so although we were initally advised we could keep our room later at an added cost, they were unable to accommodate us when we went to reception a few days prior to departure to pay.
The food was diplorable, even the breakfast was unatractive and tasteless,i am in fact a fan of continental breakfast,but was dissappointed at the meagre choice offered. I am afraid we tried two evening meals and gave up, the food was poor quality, both in choice and taste, i believe the cuts of meat and fish were of a substandard quality and therefore the chefs did not stand a chance to present a good meal.
on our second foray to the buffe style evening meal the restarant had just opened we found the food to be stone cold as well as tasteless when we pointed this out to the waiter he took our soups away and returned minutes later, with the same dishes,they were no warmer but we did notice a microwave in the seating area obviously cold food is a regular occurance here!! will not be staying here again.

| said: This is the first time we have stayed in the Villasol Hotel. The room was quite basic but clean and air conditioned (which worked!).
The bathroom was clean with bath and shower. The room was cleaned everyday and clean towels were provided. No fridge or hairdryer but we Knew this before we went so I took my own hairdryer.
There was a television in the room but the only english channel was Sky News and Eurosport. We were the only English couple staying in the Hotel - mostly spanish - some french but this was not a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was buffet style and we found it adequate. The hotel pool and terrace was quite small but most of the Spanish go on the beach so it was never busy even in July. The beach was only a short walk away down some steps onto the prom.
We thought it was good value for the price we paid. We would stay there again.
