| said: I visited Skiathos out of season, so the bar and restaurant were not open but Pasquale and his family made me very welcome. I will certainly return later in the year.
The accommodation is of a very good standard and had everything I needed for self catering.
The gardens are lovely and the pool a good size with a thatched bar around an old olive tree.

The accomodation is a mixture of studios, family rooms, apartments and maisonnettes. Set in beautiful grounds and very well maintained gardens with a good size pool, tree bar, restaurant and dining room.
Breakfast and evening meals are served on the terrace along with wine from a well stocked cellar at very reasonable prices.
The remoteness from the main attractions of Skiathos means that a car is essential for any visit, but if you want to get away from it all then this could be the place for you.

Pasquale and his family are wonderful hosts and make you feel part of the family. There are 12 rooms with kitchen and private bathroom plus a new block of 3 maisonettes which were near completion whilst we were there.
We had the most wonderful holiday here and also the cheapest I can recall having ever had. Included in the price (around £500 sterling for 2 adults and our teenage daughter sharing a room) was breakfast and a car (a little extra for a jeep which we chose) - very necessary if you wish to explore the tracks across the island which lead to some spectacular views and amazing beaches.
Skiathos Town was a 20 minute drive along the main coast road and it was nice to spend evenings in the restaurants and bars around the town and harbour and then return to the quiet of Aselinos Valley. I certainly would prefer to choose this location than some of the resorts along the south coast road. Much of the accommodation was situated right on the busy road.
Villa Angela has a restaurant - which is more about what you would like to eat as opposed to a menu should you wish to have dinner there in the evening - and a Bar plus a large swimming pool.
We were the only English staying there, along with two other families that we had booked with. Most of the guests were Italian. However, Villa Angela is now getting a lot of recommendations on UK sites.
Best value for money you could wish for in the most idyllic location.
