| said: The Apolo maybe a little bit of a walk from the main night life in San Antonio but you forgot about that when meeting the bar staff here. they were genuinely outgoing and friendly people even after long shifts with rowdy young clubbers. always smiling and full of beans, these people were a big part of my holiday and although i loved going out all the time clubbing and spending time in San antonio west end and beach area, i knew id always see a friendly face when i crawled back to the bar at the Apolo. They even remembered the names of the guests that were staying there at the time and there was alot. You have to go to this hotel if not just to meet the nicest madest bunch of people in Ibiza. Reps Chloe Prince And Helen were amazing too and in my eyes speaking as a past rep, excellent at their jobs also. Will defo be back in 2008!

It was amazing we had the best time ever, Juan the security guard was soo funny shining his tourch about he made our holiday, the reps where average prince was annoying but he always gave us lifts to the west end, the staff where the best we always had 'Our' song on Robyn-With every heartbeat. And we used to have such a laugh.
Best holiday ever and met the best people ever, The broughton boys and liverpool lads.

the rest is a blur, but i can say the girls behind the bar are the best thing since sliced bread.
its very clean, good location, cheap food and booze and helpful staff you cant ask for much more.
if the reps are gettin on ur tether just give them a bit of stick and they soon move on

| said: 1st Impressions were better than we expected. Rooms are quite small. NOTE - NO FRIDGES!! we had to buy ice every day and put our drink in the sink in the bathroom to keep them chilled.
The bar staff were FAB. The were really funny and always gave you free stuff if you gave them tips. They also rang a bell when they put tips in the jar and then everyone would cheer - it was really funny. Reception and security guard were also nice and cheery.
The pool was nice and big, a great way to meet other people staying at the hotel as everyone hangs out there and everone is really friendly.
Food and drinks were FAB but CHEAP which was gr8. Breakfast which was included (NOT WORTH GETTING UP FOR) its baguettes which you slice you can toast them with jam cheese or meat. We slept in most mornings and just paid for meals at the bar.
18 - 30 reps are a great laff dont pester you too much if you dont want to buy tickets.
Hotel was quite noisey from 5am till 7am when people are drunk comming back from the clubs - but face it what else can you expect. Everyones there to have a laff and a gr8 time. Which we did anyways!
Beach about 15 min walk great pubs on beach front - but girls its a 25 min walk with heels on.
Hotel is next to some spanish homes. Its not the best location as the entrance is up and alley. theres a shop at the corner which is ace and the area was always well light.
Would recommend this Hotel to the young. I would go back for a week at the most!

| said: The hotel was above expectations and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay. We overlooked what seemed to be a building site but i was only in my room for sleeping and showering. The pool area was excellent, a great pool and a brilliant way to meet other people. The bar staff were awesome and were constantly smiling and interacting with the residents. They also seem to enjoy in giving free drinks away so that they could join in with the drinking. If u tip them they ring a little bell shout BOTE and afterwards generally give u loads of freebies.
its about a 10-15minute walk to bar m and the beach area and probably another few to the west end.
excellent hotel and staff and cant wait to revisit next year

| said: The hotel was definitely above expectation, i thought i'll be spending my nights in some dodgy dirty 2 star hotel but, Apollo has everything to offer. Its about 15mins walk to the beach and San An 'town centre'. The food in Apollo is reasonably priced and the bar staffs are awesome....all you need to do is tip them a lil and you'll get lots of freebies throughout ur stay. The only complaint is that the guard can be pretty annoying, he kept flashing his torchlight at us and can be very naggy as well....but overall, the hotel is awesome for those who intends to make new friends because you'll definitely get to know your neighbours and every1 probably hangs out @ the pool area so if you're going to spend a week or more there, u'll definitely get to know some nice new friends!! THUMBS UP FOR APOLLO!!

Our room was cleaned everyday when we were there i think they kept forgetting they had done it! the cleaners couldn't talk english and came in your room unexpectedly!
The location was ok it was 10 mins from the beach and the nightlife was only 10-15 walk or 5 euro taxi away. we always walked with the 18-30 reps goig on trips down so it was fun.
Staff were great really chatty and always smiling. the guy wasn't bad,and they rang a bell every time they got a tip! the security guy was on a power trip most of the time but we learned to love him, and his little torch he used to shine!
Entertainment was good the 18-30 reps were a laugh.
Would definately go back, if the place had air conditioning, because it was way too hot without it!

| said: Hotel was loads better than we expected. Pool was a really good size and was cleaned everyday, through out the day. The bar staff worked long hours and were still always friendly! - Cheap food too.
The room was a decent size for the price (2 single beds pushed together though), and cleaned 2 or 3 times a week (we were there for 2).
Hotel is only 10 mins from a nice beach, and 15-20 mins from main San An, an easy walk.
Only complaints were the dog from the next doors house that was left outside all day and night so constantly barked! The hotel is quite loud through the night and the pool music is blaring and repetative from 10am until after midnight - But the noise can only be expected from an 18-30 hotel, so take your own CD's, a set of ear plugs and buy an air rifle for the dog owner, and you should have a great time!

There's not much entertainment but you make your own its only 20mins walk from night life. The security isn't much fun but overall I do recommend it for value for money.

It was about 20 min walk to the nightlife, the bars and that. There were shops about 2 mins away tho that sold prety much anything.
The staff looked after us very well, especially the bar staff, they were a good laugh. Security man was no fun tho.
All in all happy with the hotel, loadsa people all ther for the same reason to have a good time! Not really a place for early nites or quiet dinners!!

| said: We knew we were on a budget holiday and hotel apolo wasnt as bad as we had expected!
The rooms had 2 singles pushed together instead of a double, and no air conditioning.
Everything seemed clean and the toilet and shower worked well. The maid lets herself in to clean - ignoring whether you might be busy / sleeping / etc. Room was only cleaned once so we ran out of toilet roll. We found we had lots of space for clothes though.
The swimming pool was lovely. Its a very noisy hotel, until early morning - only seemed to be quiet between 6 and 7! Expected though as was a 18 - 30 holiday.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Food (we only had breakfast) was pretty bad. Rolls, with plasticy cheese, dodgy ham, marmalade or jam. Hot drinks but no cold drinks.
Also 20 minutes from the bay, so from shops and clubs etc. We also noticed the dog that barked all night!
Overally, a shabby hotel - but what we expected for a budget holiday. Some bad points but generally clean.

The bar staff were wicked, always very friendly, and 1 of the blokes weren't bad looking neither lol!
The pool was always clean, and was a decent size as well.
It's no more than 10 -15 mins away from the bars, which isn't as bad as some people make out! and there is a shop literally a minute away on the end of the street, which sold everything you need!
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff were lovely and dead helpful, hotel food was quite cheap and very tasty.
Rooms were cleaned few times a week, showers were a litle bit dodgy.
Location was a bit of a walk to the main nightlife, but well worth it.
We bought the 18-30's package and found the 50cent bars a bargain.
Overall amazing holiday, make sure your bank balance is stocked up.

| said: Stayed in the hotel Apollo for a week
Got told by Thomson I would be on the beach with a sea view...funny as the beach is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
My room was the tiniest of the lot, with two beds and the wardrobe couldn't b opened as the bed was in the way, therefore we lived out of the suitcase. The toilet had something living in it which wouldn't move and couldn't be flushed away. The maids didn't come until 5 days into the holiday after numerous complaints.
It is situated in a dingy alley in a residential area 20 minutes from both the bay and the town so I'm not really sure it can class itself in San Antonio Bay.
We overlooked some flats, one of which had a dog which barked all night as it got locked out and a baby which cried all day and one woman which has a persistent need to plant toxic by Britney Spears at silly hours in the morning.
We woke up to find our door open in the middle of the night, neither of us knowing how that happened as we had locked it.
Went with 18-30's and my complaint was followed with 'its Thomson's fault take it up with them when you get back'.
So lovely Ibiza turned into seedy slum, costing us 6 euros a night to get back to the hotel room safely even though most taxi drivers would only drop us of at the end of the alley.

| said: Our room was absolutely boiling because there's no air conditioning which is a downer and we spent most nights asleep on the balcony but otherwise it was really nice with a big wardrobe and nice strong shower.
It was cleaned at least 3 times in the week we were there. The music was loud all day but it was always good music and it was nice to wake upto after a hard night out.
The food's really nice and its really cheap, good old english fryups and chips. The pool was perfect and really cool to jump into. It was a long walk from the centre of San Antonio but it didn't really matter to us because lets face it the beach wasn't exactly great, and it didn't seem that long even if we went out in heels.
We loved every minute of the holiday and can't wait to go back again July 2007.

The room was dirty, the bed didnt have a cover on it was a curtain with the hooks still attatched!!!
The food was over priced and poor. someone tried o break into our room at least twice and the reps let themselves into our room whenever they felt like it as the lock didnt work after it was forced.
We complained nothing was done.
Hideous hotel although Ibiza itself was beautiful.
