| said: Me and my friends stayed in the Hadjichristou for two weeks. We were dropped off on the main road about 6.00am at the Bellini Bungalows and the Rep brought us up to the shared reception which was closed. After he had used *my* mobile phone to contact someone we were left alone to wait. A gentleman who arrived about 10 minutes later took us to our apartment. To access Hadjichristou from reception you could either walk out onto the main road to go all the way round or cross the sort of carpark area behind the shops which wasn't ideal.
The apartment was fine, clean and with air con in the bedroom.
We found the cleaning staff unfriendly and extremely rude. (our shoes and bags were kicked across the floor one morning).
For the first week the Hadjichristou pool was lovely and quiet with just us four and two very nice families. However in the second week we had an incident when a woman and her 3 children came to the pool. Encouraged by the lady the children began to follow my two friends around the pool and basically intimidated them out. Once we were all out of the pool they continued to be nuisances and we ended up with soaked towels, books and clothes. The woman seemed to be instructing the children to do so! We decided to go back to our apartment and as we left so did they (it was obvious that their intention was to get us out) and we were so shocked to see them enter the house next to the pool which is were the man who had greeted us on the first day lived! We were not sure if he is the owner or manager of both Hadjichristou and Bellini. (There was another occasion at the pool with two tiny girls from the same family who stood and screamed down our ears, sounds funny but not at the time when you're trying to read and of course you can't just push a 6year old away!!)
The staff in the Bellini reception were lovely and very helpful so we switched to using that pool for the remainder of the holiday. Yes, we were in Ayia Napa but we just wanted a relaxing holiday and were conscious to the fact there were families around us when we did get in late. Their rudeness, intimidation and unfriendliness was totally unjustified as we are quiet girls who just wanted a relaxing break!
Sorry for going on, just wanted to share my experience!!
