I know there huts and to give them a 5 for cleanliness seems high but they were very keen on keeping everything spotless. Most people judge the huts by the toilets and showers well these were great even if you wanted hot water they would provide you with a large bucket of water.
The food at the huts was a wonderful experience well cooked and presented all on white china, normally always them beige plastic plates everywhere else. We decided to take all our meals there where there was an excellent choice certainly for the 2 nights we were there. Breakfast which I slipped up the 1st morning was huge I ordered the full, well it just kept coming and coming and coming, my partner had to help in the end and as you can guess I didn't order the same the following morning. Lunch was a sandwich and juice and banana chips, dinner mainly a choice of the local fish washed down with beer and honey bee, fantastic.
The location of the huts is good being at the northern end of Palolem beach and cut off by a bamboo footbridge on the edge of the forest, total peace and quiet which is what we were looking for. Chill out areas hammocks, I could go on...
The hut owners and staff are great, can't do enough for you, always available and always with a smile.
Entertainment.... take it or leave it, as simple as that.
There are only 8 huts and so not many people around with the location being slightly away from the main beach hut area. While we were there the people we met were great, all met up through out the day and usually had a couple of drinks with a laugh at night around the bar. The 2nd night Serife the owner put on a small BBQ for dinner with a selection of seafood to die for along with the usual extras. Almost all the guest joined in and most went off into the town along with Serife and Shelly (his sister)to watch a band. Being on the older end of the market we decide to stay at the bar with a couple of other guest and chill.
All in all it's up to you want you do here. I put top marks because I felt it gave you the options, it is really up to yourself how busy you want to make it. We would of stayed longer but left all of our money and clothes in the main hotel we were staying in, but next year we will book in advance and stay alot longer.

After spending a week of the hussle& bussle of Candolin we decided to go to Palolem and by accident found this wonderfull resort. Right at the end of the beach across a man made bridge and your in another world. Picture this Beach hut with infront of you the beach and lagoon and behind you the forest which comes alive with monkeys
as near as nature as I'll ever get.
The huts are basic but spotless the food is Goan and great beer always cold.
If you want a party forget it although Palolem beach south is only 10 mins walk which is where they party. All you'll get here is peace and tranquilty
Romantic? you bet. For one week or a couple of nights go there and just chill.
