| said: This was our first all inclusive holidy and we thought it was excellent. The Hotel itself is at the opposite end of the strip which leads to the clubs/shops and other entertainment. However it is a short bus ride away and these buses run every 2-3 minutes and for 24 hours a day. They are clean, safe and really really cheap.
The hotel was the cleanest we have ever stayed in and the staff were constantly cleaning. The room was cleaned daily and towels and bedding changed. The rooms are big and the air conditioning is excellent as its red hot outside. The room has a TV which plays MTV and films all day.
The staff are excellent and very friendly. The bend over backwards to help you and there is 24 hours security.
The food is great, I have read other reviews and we had no problem. Apart from over eating!!! (At the buffet) The resturants are superb. There are two of them and they have the option of outside sitting with an impressive menu.
The entertainment was reasonable, however not to our liking, but other people seemed to enjoy it. The nightclub was good, but we were usually too drunk to remember it all. It was never busy.
The pools are great but the beach was superb. the best hangover cure ever!! There are other bars and a sushi bar open all day. Food is availible 24 hours a day in some sort or another. One of the resturants offer a take away pizza option, all included.
Overall we had a excellent time, trips out are reasonble in price and we would go back.

We have just found out that it has been down rated to a 3 star, I would say that it could be even lower to a 2+ myself. The food is not very good quality, and although it is all inclusive no food is given out as a food pack if you go out on trip's for the day (not good as a 4 star), all the food buffets are closed from 10.30 p.m. till midnight, this is not good as some all day trips mean not getting back till 10.30p.m. - 11.00p.m., so we had to go to bed twice without and meals.
The location is good for the beach.
The entertainment is rubbish, I have no other way to describe it. The staff are very good, it is this that helps with my star rating.
No internet connection is in the Hotel which is a pity, as there is nothing else to do but eat and sun bath, which I suppose it maybe ok for some but not me.
The ceiling's collapsed one night in some of the bedrooms when we had a bad rain storm, and the hotel reception was flooded, rain water was flooding out of the light fitting's near the lift's, and some bedroom's on the 3rd and 5th floor had to be evacuated. Due to the bad storm they had (Wilma, last year) the hotal had all it's windows/door's blownout, and some tree's are still being re-planted. However, the hotel has been repaired of course, but the water leak's give me a bad feeling.
The swimming pools are excellent, so is the beach.

| said: Stayed here is sept 2004 and didn't leave a review on my return but having just read some of the reviews on the trip adviser site for this hotel I felt compelled to write my own.
I simply cannot believe that people can maon about this hotel. Yes there are some minor problems but nothing to worry about and definitley nothing that you should let spoil your holiday! Still some people just love to complain.
Can't believe that people moan about the drinks- excellent cocktails to be had- best I have had on all inclusive's so far.
Food- Trust me there is a lot of choice. I am a vegi and never went hungry and my boyfriend is not a vegi and he never had a problem with the food.
Entertainment was not exaclty striaght from Broadway but who goes on holiday for that anyway? Get a life- Cancun is a great place lots to do get out and see it!!
Bus services great cheap, fast and reliable
I could not get over the fact that someone on this site complained about the people in downtown Cancun. These people are very poor and struggle to makes ends meet. If you bother to take the time to talk to them you will find some fun and frinedly people. If you are offended by people that may not have as much money as you then don't go downtown.
To summarise- this is a great place, if you are thinking of booking a holiday here go ahead, you won't regret it!!

| said: I worked in this hotel for 7 months in 2004 and found it to be a great hotel to work in. Its clean and fresh theres allways staff cleaning the food id good as well.
The location is great on the beach what more do you want and its far enough away from the party zone so no noise to keep you awake.
Yes as other reviews said there are allways a few who moan and there allways will be.. but as I was ther for 7 months it was a good standard of hotel.....
