Food was good, I am very fussy, and I could find more then a few things every day.
Hotel staff were, very good, and helped as much as possible.
The only down side was the Thomson reps, gave us the wrong info and never came to our hotel, so we lost a day we could have gone on trip's, which as we were only staying for a week, meant we could not go on those trips for that day.
But over all top holiday.

| said: The hotel is located one block from the nearest beach which is fairly small. It is approx 10-15mins walk to the main beach of Playa del Ingles. All beaches are very clean, with plenty of sunbeds.
There are 3 pools of which one was heated at this time. There are also a few jacuzzis around which are heated.
Meals are buffet style. There is enough choice, for breakfast there are cereals, salad, hot buffet, toast juice etc. Evening meal, soup, salad, plenty on the hot buffet too. The dining room is huge so there is never a problem getting a table.
We found every member of staff to be very friendly and helpful. The maid for our room was excellent. Can't really comment on the entertainment as there is lots to do in Playa del Ingles so we went out every night. Many people did stay in though, and the entertainment seemed popular.

| said: 5 female adults ages 36 to 63 years. Hotel very clean and well maintained. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily.
Problems- balcony door not locking, broken shower dispenser and lock on door sticking-were dealt with immediately.
Three quiet pool areas, plenty of beds, easy to swim. Some pool entertainment- music, water aerobics, volleyball and bingo. Food good, wide variety to suit all tastes, Appeared to be better quality of cooking from Saturday to midweek, thereafter salads were a bit watery. No problem getting table at mealtimes and no real queuing problems even at busy times.
Nice areas for relaxing with drinks, in & out, with table service. Quiet location, easy walk to the small Tropical Centre with good eating/drinking places and enough shops to browse, next to bus station.
Small beach within easy walk. Taxi to main centres approx.3 euros, walked back from nearest ones. Staff friendly and helpful.
Small supermarket across the road from the entrance to buy lunch. In all a great holiday for adults. Not many children in the hotel when we were there.

| said: This hotel was like an 80's timewarp and needed a total overhaul!
Food was disgusting so had to eat out most nights so most of our money went on that for 2 weeks.
The staff were not very friendly or helpful, but they were if you was German or Spanish!
Entertainment was rubbish and the 'disco' was an absolute joke, you had to go down some stairs and we used to walk down there every night just for a laugh and at most counted 6 people!!
Take my advise avoid this place if you want a nice holiday.

Our room was very clean. The restaurant was clean and plenty of food options.
The entertainment was just one Spanish man who spoke about 5 different languages but he was very entertaining.

If you are English then you ought to look else where. The holiday reps do not even try to communicate with the english in this hotel.
You also need to be very fit as this hotel is at least 1 - 2 miles from the resort and not as explained in most brochures as close to the beach ! !
The beach it refers to is not used.

| said: We stayed here in June 05 for our honeymoon, we needed 2 rooms as we had taken our children with us, we was given 2 rooms 3 floors apart, when we complained we was given 2 rooms four doors apart, which I suppose was better than 3 floors apart!
We was surrounded by German couples, we was the only english with children there for 5days, so we felt we had to keep our children quiet incase we upset the Germans, I had already had lifts shut in my face when trying to get in by them!
In the pool the children were not allowed floats or inflatables or anything to play with, which we did not think was very fair.
The entertainment was rubbish, we gave up on it after visiting it twice.
The food was ok but was repeated on many times, after 3 days we ate out for every meal.
Where the hotel is placed is a long walk to the main centre and with children it makes it hard work.
Overhall we would not stay here again as we felt it was more for people without children.

| said: The hotel itself is very clean, the pool is lovely, and it's a nice walk along the front to either San Agustin or into Playa del Ingles.
However, the food is disgusting. I actually ended up eating out every meal, rather than face the buffet there. I had a room with a nice view of the main road, which was noisy right through the night.
The entertainment is rubbish, I think even the children present were bored.

| said: I travelled to the hotel Beverly Park in the last month of August with my girlfriend. We stayed for two weeks and both found the hotel to be of a great standard.
All staff were polite and helpful and the rooms were regulary cleaned. Me and my girfriend are only 19 years old, but I would reccomend it to families, single and couples of all ages as the hotel and the resort have something to suite everyone.
We particulary enjoyed the restaurants that have quality food and are fairly cheap to eat (alot cheaper than England anyway) and the great amount of nighlife as you venture more towards the centre of Playa de Ingles, but this is still just a 15 minute walk or just 3 euros in a taxi which a lot of people seemed to do.

| said: My husband, myself and my granddaughter who is now 11yrs old have stayed at the Beverley Park Hotel on 6 occasions now (at times we have bought other family members with us).
The first time we stayed at this hotel we thought there must have been a mix up with the rooms as we had 2 separate interconnecting rooms. This turned out to be correct and my granddaughters room had all the facilities ours did plus a full fridge and her own balcony etc. This was such a delight and a pleasant change from having to squeeze 3 of us into one room.
The staff are excellent. I always e-mail them to advise when I will be arriving and request interconnecting rooms each time. Each time they have allocated in accordance with my wishes and left bowls of fruit and bottles of water as a welcome back. If its your birthday, the staff deliver a cheap bottle of fizzy to your room. Cheap but at least the thought is there!!!
The hotel is a bit tired but the friendly staff work very hard to keep it meticulously clean. There are 3 different pools and never a shortage of sunbeds.
The entertainment leaves a lot to be desired but there are cafes and bars on a long promenade right on your doorstep.
I still visit Gran Canaria quite regularly as you can guarantee the sun. I no longer stay at the Beverley Park as I travel more around the island. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and heartily thank the staff for their kindness over the past years.

Lovely food, clean rooms, nice gardens/pool area etc. It is in a good location, you can walk along the promenade to all the lively areas. Nice views of the sand dunes from the upper floors. Nice hotel but would not recommend the resort.

| said: We were moved here when I insisted on coming out of a disgusting " All Inclusive " site
We found the reception staff to be very welcoming and friendly.
Porters very efficient.
Room pleasant with a pool view and the sea from the balcony we where on the 5th floor so extremely quiet.
The restaurant had a good choice both breakfast and either mid day or evening meal ( half board guests can choose when to eat ) A minimum of 2 / 3 roasts along with fish meals a well stocked salad bar a minimum of 6 / 7 sweets with as many helpings as you wish to fetch.
The Matre De and waitresses had a brilliant approach to all groups if couples seated in an area together and families slightly separated but for no other reason than for noise levels
The room was spotless ( but tired ) and cleaned and towels and bed linen daily
The Night Club.
this is a bit of a joke but then as several have already mentioned this area used to be exclusive to Germans (I did speak to a duty manager about a few items and he assured me that the area used to be dominated by German tourists but as of 2003 they where trying to bring all hotels and services up to a standard that would please the British tourists)
The Gardens, grounds, pool area and snack bar were excellent with a lovely feature waterfall as you sit at the alternative restaurant and entertainment room. There was regularly a Pianist playing for either Dance or just background music
Overall Pat n me found this hotel to have a very relaxed atmosphere. Yes it's old with wood panelling everywhere but looks like it was rather grand in its day the staff lovely people and management eager to help and please if you needed to make requests of them.

| said: We stayed here for a week in December 2001 and found the hotel very good. Location close to the "bypass" was a bit of a concern but the hotel is back just far enough. We knew the place would be good when we arrived, it was full of Germans, Spanish and French!!!
It is walking distance from San Agustin and the centre of the resort although most people seem to get taxis even if it is only 1 or 2k away!
The pool area is split into childrens and adult pools and has a snack bar adjacent and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a Tropical Garden with loads more sunbeds (and parasols) and two outdoor jacuzzis.
An a la carte restuarant and a buffet style restuarant are open for evening meals and a bar is open from mid-day. We were told the entertainment was very loud if you had a pool veiw room, so it was with some concern we entered our pool view room. Fortunately no outside entertainment is on offer in the winter.
We would recommend the hotel but not the resort.

The room was cleaned thoughout our stay and with regular linen changes. We enjoyed our holiday as the hotel was centred in a good postion away from the main centre but within walking distance to the lively night life. The only thing that we felt let the hotel down was the eveing entertainment. But saying that we have booked to go again in july of this year. staff were always pleasent and helpful.

| said: Well what can I say?? Never have I felt the need to express such disappointment but I can honestly say I couldn't sleep if I didn't pass this information on!!
On arrival we were disgusted by actions of the hotel staff who blatantly ignored us for 17 mins, (there was only my family and the receptionist present at the time!!!), then arrogantly demanded a deposit for possible damages before handing the key to my wife, who I may add, has blatantly got a prosthetic arm.
The arrival of the porter shocked us further with his first actions to be removing the untipped cigarette from his mouth and blowing smoke directly into my face.
The rooms were of a low standard with no regard to cleanliness. The location was reasonable, just as well as any excuse to leave this "cesspit" was greatly welcome.
Hotel entertainment was none existant, with most nights the porter drinking excessivley before do his own rendition of British soap theme tunes on the spoons!
Overall a torrid "holiday"....I would't expect this of Coventry!

| said: Just back from the Beverley Park Hotel. The hotel is a good looking hotel. Reception staff and porters were nice. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean. The food was good with plenty of choice. The only things that really let this hotel down are the barstaff and the entertainment. Found the barstaff to be really quite rude and grumpy, you could be standing for ages yourself at the bar, when a spanish person would approach and then be served first. The waiters however were very pleasant.
The pools and gardens are lovely and we found no problem in securing a bed by the pool.
The entertainment was really poor. The animation
team only really seemed interested in speaking to the under 30s. Not a lot for children to do here.
