| said: I have to say this hotel is a basic hotel and also in a very very windy location.
The breakfast is adequate but due to the windy conditions makes eating outside uncomfortable and that goes as well for having a late night drink after a night out.
The rooms are roomy enough and kept clean with clean sheets and towels every day, the two annoying items is no remote for the TV, and the location of the A/C right opposite the top of the bed.
We ordered a pizza on the first night and basically it was rubbish, but the breakfast was good and other foods we ordered was ok, needless to say we did not try the buffet restaurant in the evening mainly due to wind factor.
The location is not the best and would try to get nearer ponta negra next time as you are out in the sticks.
The staff were reasonably ok but i got the feeling they was a bit apprehensive of UK people as we were 'pioneers' according to our rep .
We was there for the new year and the hotel was celebrating their 20th anniversary and food & drink was free from 20.00 new years eve until 16.00 new years day, there was sport and water aerobics going on and a singer/guitarist every day playing in the afternoon.
I can't recommend this hotel as IMHO it is far too windy to enjoy anything and missed a decent bar to have a late night drink after a visit to Ponta Negra in the evening.
