The staff couldn't have been more helpful and everything was kept spotless. Choice of food was enormous but could sometimes be lukewarm in the buffet restaurant. We preferred the separate restaurants because they were mainly childfree.

All the AI hotels in this area are fairly isolated with nothing much to do outside of the hotel, unless you played golf (we don't) or go on the Thomas Cook trips (which we didn't). As two adults with no children we sometimes longed for an area in the buffet restaurant which could be totally child free. Nothing was done to stop some of them roller skating past you as you were taking your food back to your table - not quite what I call 5 star behaviour. There were also very loud teenagers from the Eastern European block in the Irish pub every night screaming and trying to get alcohol out of the bar staff.

The pools were vast and the hotel grounds spotless with well tended gardens. I thought the beach was very scruffy - mainly shingle and not very appealing.

Generally a 6/10 holiday and a slightly disappointing first experience of "5 star" all inclusive.

The AI package was first class. All restaurants and snack bars were waiter service except for the buffet. They could all compare with any high class eatery that you would be happy to pay for. We loved the coffee shop with over 20 different types of coffee both hot and cold, and the lovely cakes. Every bar had their own different snacks to go with the drinks in the evening.

The resort was spotless. It was right on the beach and this was also kept clean.

The staff were very friendly, they possibly have done with a few more staff in some bars in the evening, but hey we were on holiday and in no rush.

The entertainment was the best i have ever encountered on holiday. All the animation team looked like professional dancers and the standard of the evening shows like Lion King, Little Mermaid, Spamalot and Mama Mia proved the fact. There was live music and singing every night in the pool by the bar and people were dancing as well. The night club was open to 4pm every morning and had a foam party once a fortnight. Then once a fortnight they had a night club in another room in the resort and had podium and pole dancers.

I would go back again every aspect of the Xanadu was 5* and the free laundry service was great. No corner had been cut at all because the resort was AI.

Excellent hotel, staff cannot do enough for you, buffet restaurant has so much choice (too much choice if the truth be known - expect to gain stones not pounds)! and the quality is excellent.

A la carte restaurants especially the Chinese,Mexican and Italian are really good.

The bungalow rooms are quite basic for a five star hotel but there is everything you need in them and are cleaned daily. The minibar is restocked daily also. We did look at the rooms in the hotel itself and they are very similar but feel a little more luxurious as they are carpeted.

As we stayed in October the air conditioning was not switched on so would recommend the bungalow rooms as they are much cooler than the hotel rooms.

The hobbycraft centre is great - Hi Gu, she is lovely and can't wait to go back again.

Overall, fab holiday, well worth the extra expense. Have stayed at the Atlantis Hotel in Belek 2 years ago and there is no comparison whatsoever.

You will not be disappointed with this hotel, I am a very fussy traveller and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Not too many brits there which does not bother us at all, lots of other nationalities including Turkish, Russains, Germans,Dutch, overall a great mix of people.

Sorry, forgot to mention the entertainment - excellent, shows were Mamma Mia (fab) Lion King (fab), Little Mermaid - the costumes are fantastic.

I have never been to hotel with such professional shows.

A great hotel with first class service, they can't do enough for you.

Staff cleaning all the time the place is spotless.

Food wonderful several restaurants to choose from.

Evening entertainment was good something for everyone but probably not for the clubbers.
