If you prefer your location a little more peaceful, the former is definitely the more desirable of the two, as the Los Lentiscos is built around its large pool and entertainment area, which means music until midnight. Also, the busy thoroughfares of the larger complex mean that holidaymakers are bustling past the frontages of many apartments until quite late. The Biniforcat has no entertainment or reception of its own except for a small pool useable until 7.00pm. Visitors may of course use the facilities of its sister complex.
Our ground floor apartment (there are first floor appts. also) had two bedrooms, with adequate kitchen containing oven, hob, toaster, kettle and a decent amount of utensils. A good-sized fridge-freezer was situated in the corner of the lounge/dining area. The bathroom was fairly basic but adequate, containing bath/shower/toilet/bidet. Bedrooms were a reasonable size, but on our visit, a bit musty. Generally, I felt the site was good, but a major refurbishment is perhaps not too far away.
The apartment was conveniently close to the beach. The route consisted of steps (approx. 20) from the pool area down to a gravel path, and then about 150m to the beach. Many visitors may find the beach at Cala’n Forcat rather disappointing as it is particularly small, especially as in Menorcan standards, Cala’n Forcat is quite a busy resort. However, it is sandy and sheltered by a long cove inlet making it safe for children.

Apartments were very clean and tidy but about due redecorating, however this only entails a lick of paint. Pool is small but there are plenty of sunbeds and room to sunbath. My only complaint was that you only get one key which is very restricting when your party may want to do different things. They would not even entertain giving more than one key. Plenty of bars and restaurants, even a couple of disco/nightclub type bars for the teenagers. Two beaches close at hand although these are small but adequate. This is not a resort for people who want a lively holiday but is ideal for relaxing.
