Stayed at the Park Hotel, Sliema Malta for a fortnight at end of February.
Food was basically uneatable in many instances. Did not cater for vegetarians at all!
Cleanliness was not bad except for the work which was taking place on all floors.
Lots of workmen, plaster and noise. Some people had to move rooms three times during their stay to accommodate updating of the rooms.

This hotel was lovely, food great and plentiful, fantastic friendly staff and very convenient. Entertainment not great but it was out of season. Can't wait to go back there!

We stayed at the Park in Sliema and as we approached it thought it looked a bit run down but once we went through the doors it was like stepping into a different world - very tastefully decorated with sparkling glass doors and marble arches. We were allocated a self catering apartment although we had booked half board so we had a separate bedroom which was lovely. We had a balcony but no view. The staf were great - pleasant friendly and helpful. The food was hotel food but ok and you could pay a little extra and have an a la carte meal which was much better. The entertainment would not entice me back as it was football on wide screen and football on the smaller tv in the lounge. Very centrally situated - bus stop just around the corner

Bedroom was cleaned often, but not to a good standard. Curtains had mould growing off them. Rugs by bedside had big dark stains on them that looked disgusting. Towels were threadbare and really tatty. Bedding was changed twice a week.
Now onto the food. All I can say is breakfast is okish but evening meals were awful. Everything was just sloppy and swimming in water or grease and tasteless, so much so while we were there there were numerous complaints about it.
Some of the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you and then you got reception staff who were frightened to crack a smile.
Put it this way I will never ever go back there and there is no way this hotel is a 4 star.
