Can't complain for the money we paid.We had a room at the front overlooking a new park under construction and a busy road and we were obviously on the outskirts of the resort.Rooms were comfortable but not much choice to watch on TV and only one thin pillow. The shower took some practice to perform at it's best and the bathroom door would not close.Breakfast was adequate but forgetable and often a queue to get a table(in November!)A queue at the bar during popular times was normal. Some entertainment was ok if you had had a few!If you hire a car you have to park it on the main road across the road from the Hotel.

we found this hotel to be very good the food had excellent choices and was served to you by the chefs,so it was not messed up by other guests, which i liked some AI are like school canteens but here we were treated like proper diners. The pool is quite small, but it was adequate for us, it was quite nice the fact that it did not have sun all day because it was still very warm. The staff were all lovely and the AI worked well but icecream had to be paid for.The down side is the main road outside main entrance abit worrying with 2 boisterous 4 yr olds, and footpaths not very wide to walk on and dodge the dog poo.We hired a car to get round which was quite easy cos they drive on the same side AS UK.hotel was great wish resort had beach.

Check in at reception efficient and quick. Room large and clean, beds comfortable. Hot water supply in bathroom, if hot selected hot came out of both hot & cold taps. this has been mentioned before.

Food was hot and there was plenty of it. Staff friendly and helpful.

At busy times service at the bar could be a little slow.
Entertainment was provided each night, the songs were the same though the groups/duos were different.

A bus stop is near the hotel and buses leave at 30 minute intervals for Valletta (between 1200 and 1500 they are hourly).

The hotel also runs a free shuttle to Buggiba bus terminal.
Plenty of bars and restaurants around but be prepared for a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to them.

I stayed for 4 nights and was satisfied with the hotel offerings and would certainly stay again or recommend it to friends.

Having read the reviews of the Bella Vista Hotel we were not looking forward to the holiday. However, the rooms were a good size, clean, and the beds were comfortable, also we had a good pool view.

Although the sun was only on around the pool until 1.15pm, it meant there were no shortages of sun lounges! There is a sun roof terrace which remains hot and sunny all day, and there is a bar up there too! Because the pool was cold the kids spent a lot of time in the indoor one, also there are two pool tables to keep them entertained!

The food was very good, although we only had bacon once for breakfast and there was beef for dinner 3 days running, but apart from that the food was good. The hotel is on a busy road but you can go through the back door for a short cut to Bugibba.

There is also a courtesy bus which takes you to Qawra bus station, and will pick you up from a bar if you ask. We found an excellent bar called Murphy’s Bar which is well worth a visit. Although we would not revisit Malta, we would recommend the Bella Vista Hotel.

We stayed at the Bella Vista Hotel for our honeymoon, and enjoyed it very much. The majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was good although they seemed to do the same things quite often.

It was a bit of a walk to get to the bars in the evening, and the hotel entertainment was not great. Although some of the older guests seemed to enjoy it. We hired a car which made getting about the island very easy, and was good value.

We were surprised at how expensive the cost of telephone calls were, using the phone in our room, which we had to use as one of our cases was lost at manchester airport.

After booking our holiday I looked at the hotel reviews and was dreading going the Bella Vista but we were all surprised.

My party consisted of 6 adults, 3 children under 4 and 2 five month old babies. The hotel was very clean. Our room was lovely it contained 4 normal sized beds and a baby cot and we still had plenty of space. The other rooms were twin rooms one with a cot and the other a camp bed. The bedding and towels were changed every day.

Food was fine we used to go down early to get the children's menu and they loved it. I would have liked to have seen some fresh fruit on the menu particularly for the children.

The staff were wonderful extremely friendly even to the children.

Entertainment was poor bingo night was good but we did go in February.

If you hire a car the hotel location is fine and we never had to worry about getting a parking space. Bus stops were outside the hotel.

When we first arrived didn't know what to expect but we had a warm welcome and plenty of smiles

Had an accident when we were in Malta and the staff all rallied round and gave 200% effort and understanding to make sure that we still enjoyed the visit, they advised us of where to hire crutches etc.. and is adapted to disabled people

Food is varied but is plenty to choose from need to pre order children's meals though

Entertainment is not up to the rest of the hotels standards and is mainly aimed at those who like ballroom dancing or a good tango

We would take our daughter there again but I would definitely go out in the evening for other entertainment
