| Couples, groups and families with older children will find these simple, quiet apartments ideal, the Remi apartments are located only 300 metres away from the sandy beach, 500 metres from the resort centre of Stalis and just 150 metres from the nearest supermarket. Due to the hilly location this property is not suitable for customers with walking difficulties. |

| said: These appartments are as usual basic by Greek standards. All staff seemed quite polite during our entire stay. We only used it as a base to shower and rest. Most of the time was spent on the beach or in central Stalis.
The rooms can be a little noisy, especially if you have one towards the side of the property which backs out on to someone's driveway. The kids make noise way into the night and very early in the morning.
The room was cleaned twice during our stay, sheets and towels once and the bins were emptied everyday.
As with all appartments in Greece it is the norm to check out by 12 noon on your last day. Unfortunately our flight did not leave until 6am the following morning. We were given an option to extend our stay till 6pm at a cost of 20 Euros. We politely asked if it would be possible to stay for longer, obviously we'd pay the full room rate - but the bar owner said 'No' rudely and shrugged her shoulders. Therefore we popped across the road to the Elvira Hotel and booked a room from 12 noon till 1am for an extra 20 Euros. All we needed was for somewhere to shower and pack but with the added bonus of still being able to spend a whole day in Stalis.
I would not recommend staying at these appartments as there are many others that look better and I'm sure, much more friendlier staff. I also would not travel with Olympic again as the rep was no where to be seen, we weren't even shown where the notice board was, we also had a stand in for our welcome meeting, whom didn't really know what she was doing!!!

| said: The apartments were basic, as usual in Greece, but they were spotless and we had clean towels every day.
The pool area was kept extremely clean and tidy.
There was no entertainment, but we entertained ourselves in the pool every day.
All the staff were lovely and we were all on first name terms. Aliana the bar manager was particularly lovely. She gave us lots of information about the resort, in particular the best restaurants.
The apartments are situated 5 minutes walk from the centre of Stalis, just far enough to be away from the noise. The apartments are near to a main road but there is a subway.
We had a great week and would recommended it!

| said: Hotel cleanliness - The rooms were being cleaned as we arrived. Clean towels and bedding every other day. Pool area cleaned daily. Bar kept clean and tidy at all times. Can't complain.
Hotel food - Huge selection on the menu. No restaurant area though, food is just served at the bar. Very nice food. Liked everything I tried.
Hotel location - Not bad. Not far from Malia pubs, about a 5 minute taxi ride, or a half hour walk. Very close to lots of restaurants and Stalis pubs. 10 minute walk to the beach. Very nice beach with watersports and beach bars.
Hotel staff - Excellent. Lazo, what a legend. He worked his bollocks off. He got a lot of tips. There was one woman in charge who was a bitch, but as we were a crowd of ten young boys, we only had to tell her where to go and she stayed there.
Entertainment - None, but we didn't need that as we went into Malia every night. There was a big TV there which had Sky, and lots of pretty girls with big shelves. That was enough entertainment for us.
Would definately recommend.
