Stayed at this hotel with my family and had a fantastic time, can't wait to go back! The hotel was clean and very well maintained at all times, rooms were left immaculate every day with a daily clean from the maids and towels changed every day if you wished. The gardens of the hotel were constantly being looked after and were a joy to see each day! The food on offer was plentiful something for everyone! The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit every day, omlettes and eggs cooked however you wanted, fruit smoothies, you name it, it was there! The poolside bar offered a great selection of food at lunchtime the usual burgers, hotdogs and chips were on offer along with various other options. Our particualr favourite was the baguette bar, you can choose anything you like from the fresh meat and salad section which was then made up into the bagettes for you; a bit like a subway store! Evening options in the main restraunt were again very good always something there, steaks, Chicken, Lamb, they were all there along with something for the children.
The location of the hotel was very pleasent, about a 20 min walk from the centre although a taxi was only about 3 euros should you prefer not to walk into town. The entertainment was as you would exopect really, nothing great but i always think your holiday is what you make it, we often ate at the hotel had a few drinks in the hotel and then walked into town which broke the evening up a bit, always plenty of staff on at the bars so no worries about long queues! Hotel staff were always about, with a smile on their faces, entertainments team were brilliant, i still dont know how they can be so energetic from morning till night! They did a fantastic job. Would certainly recommend this hotel to families and will be going back again next year!

The best "family friendly" hotel I have been too. Lots of pools for the children (of which two are heated), and a large sandpit/play area as well.

Food was to a good standard for all inclusive. A good choice every day.

Rooms were spacious and clean and could not be faulted.

Staff were always attentive and dealt with your requests/requirements propmtly.

Entertainment was not the best, but of an acceptable standard.

Have already booked again to go back next year ... ...

All Inclusive food was good in Gaudi main restaurant with free bottled water but did not think much of the Spanish and Italian which you could go to on one occasion each week. In fact we left the spanish one before we ate anything as not much choice. Then went back to Gaudi main restaurant as this had more of a choice. So if you do book it make it early so main restaurant still open if your not pleased with what you see.The A/I only has a very limited amount of local drinks to choose from infact the worst we have ever had as we have been on a lot of A/I holidays but there were limited spirits 3 in total, and 3 cocktails available only which were poor. You had to pay for majority.Hotel location is ok as its just out of the centre about 1.5 to 2km away. Which you can walk or get a taxi for around 3.50 euro. A word of warning this hotel has kids running wild like Gremlins while there parents get drunk on limited A/I. There is a quiet pool and other calmer areas but beware if your not child friendly as the main pool was packed and looking onto a building site but resort is that big you can avoid it if you want.Anyone with kids though it will be ideal for them.Hotel busy all year round from what staff say. Would I go back to this hotel no not for us but ideal for people with young children.

Apartment was spacious and clean with aircon, bathroom, large bedroom, living area and balcony. Room was cleaned spotless on a daily basis by the cleaning staff. I didn't see any cockroaches or other bugs!

The food was fine and in plentiful supply! Lots to chose from with the grill area (dinner time) changing their daily offerings. Lunch consisted of burgers, chips, salads, veg, baguettes and fruit. Soft drinks at lunch and dinner are self service! Lots to chose from for breakfast too with traditional english offerings to continental style offerings. Coffee and juices are self service.

The only gripe would be the queues that can form at the bars when attempting to get booze or soft drinks in the evening. I think the hotel should provide bigger glasses for the beers to reduce the times that people are coming back for a refill! However, I think you can order lots of small beers (San Miguel) to make things easier on yourself!

The staff were nice and very helpful but there was large queues at the reception desk at times...but then again the hotel was fully booked when I was there!

Pool areas are fine and yes there is loads of children but they seemed to be having fun and enjoying themselves! The Animation team did a good job of entertaining adults and children! There is a relax pool that is very quiet! But I thought the kids running about and playing added to a more 'fun' atmosphere as the 'Relax' area was too quiet for my liking!

My last gripe would be the distance the hotel is from the centre of the resort. It's up to a 40 minute walk or about 20 minutes via the paths next to the coast. However, the security guys will order you a taxi upon request....and they're plenty of taxis!

This Hotel offered a good choice of food and Themed Resturants made a plesent change.

We could not fault the cleanleness of the hotel and there were always maids cleaning around the hotel.

There was no need to take towels as these were provided.

Staff were always friendly and helpfull.
There was no restriction on how many drinks you could get at one time so this stopped the ques.
This is a great family resort ! would defianatly recomend it !!

We stayed here for 1 week and thought it was brilliant. We have been to quite a few all inclusives and this one was great, we ate in both the spanish and italian resturants more than once and have no complaints about the food. The rooms were lovely and quite spacious, we stayed in a junior suite and there was enough space for 3 adults and a 1 year old. This is a great family hotel and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Went for 7 nights all inclusive to this hotel in August 2009 (2 adults and a 10 year old). Hotel was kept spotless and tidy, an army of staff seem to work non stop. Had everything we needed in our room, and maids cleaned every day.

Large choice of food from salads to hot food cooked while you wait in the Gaudi main restaurant, everyone should find something they like. Didn't try the other 2 restaurants as there was so much to eat in the main one. Had lunch every day in the Milanese pool bar, which had a good selection of hot and cold food - ice creams available 12.30pm to 4.00pm, and an excellent sandwich bar open until 5.00pm.

Hotel staff helpful and friendly, particularly if you make the effort to say hello and thank you.

The children's animation team were fantastic, they encouraged everyone to join in the games at the main activity pool. If you want peace and quite use one of the other many pools, as this area is definitely for those who like fun - especially waterpolo. Didn't have any trouble getting a sunbed even though it was August. All pool areas were clean and tidy with lots of sunbeds.

Hotel is in a quiet location, but only 5 minutes away in a taxi from the centre of Corralejo (about 3.5 Euros). Hotel has a small private beach area, but main beaches are a few minutes away on free hotel bus that leaves at half past every hour. Didn't try this ourselves as we were having too good a time at the hotel.

Evening entertainment a bit hit and miss, but this seems to be normal when on holiday, and there is a disco for those who like to stay up late.

Would definitely go back - tomorrow if possible, and for 10 nights this time.

We have just returned from a twelve night stay. We read a few reviews and were not expecting anything great. We were very pleasantly surprised.
Check in was a bit of a wait but only because our flight was delayed and the check in was two buses at once. The complex is huge and at night it was a bit difficult to find our room, once we got in the suite was plenty big enough for the three of us. We had booked a superior suite and got a small kitchen with a kettle and toaster and a fridge.
We woke to find our room overlooking a pool but at 8am people had already reserved beds although the hotel asks you not to ( i have to say this is my only complaint about the hotel and its the guests rather than the hotel). There are plenty of pools one just for adults and others with baby pools too, if you are unable to get a bed if you ask at the pool bar the maintenance staff get more from storage.
Breakfast is the usual but the lady making fresh omelette while you wait is worth waiting for. Lunch is either in the Melanese or the main restaurant always plenty too choose from as well as the usual burgers and hot dogs, the sandwich corner in the Melanese is good for takeaway if like us your child refused to leave his friends at the pool. When we have stayed AI at other hotels you are allocated a table for dinner for your whole stay this hotel is first come first served which is great as you are not on any kind of time restriction, dinner was varied and always something nice even my fussy nine year old found something he liked. We couldn't fault the food or service at all.
Entertainment was hit and miss but the animation team did try hard the african show was really good.
We would recommend this hotel and we will be going back.

I have to say this was probably the nicest and cleanest hotel I have stayed in. The day time and evening entertainment was excellent- the kids were happy all day long

The food was great with variety and enough choice for the adults and the kids.

20 minute walk to the town or waterpark,a free bus to the sand dunes was excellent and well worth a visit.

Recommend this hotel to anybody and would definetly go back!

We stayed here with my Mum and Dad and 3 small children in June 2008 and had a brilliant time.
I would definitely go back. The food was nice although a little on the oily side, entertainment a bit boring but then we were back in the rooms by around 9pm as our little ones were tired. Not a long walk into town, Corralejo is nice.
Cannot really fault it. You get what you pay for and it's not that expensive.
Definitely go back

This hotel is not all bad, but there are quite a few bad bits.

The pool bar food is simply the worst I have ever come across at any hotel anywhere.

It was always cold and left standing for hours -I observed the container with the shriveled up chips in it being topped up with more cold chips on top! The lettuce was shriveled and brown and the rolls for the hot dogs just crumbled when picked up. The hot dog I had was complety stone cold, absolute rubbish.

Worse still is the number of birds flying around in the bar, and these stop and peck at the cakes on display and are not discouraged by the bar staff at all.

The sandwich bar by the pool is now closed so this pool bar is the only place to get snacks. Dont't bother is my advice.

Having said that, the food in the main restaurant was excellent with a good selection and friendly staff.
No problems with cleanliness except for some dirty grouting on the floor tiles in the rooms.

Entertainment is diabolical, we watched one display on the tiny stage which comprised of somenone hanging a snake around unsuspecting victims in the audience. This went on for an hour and a half and then he put the snake back in its box and waited for a round of applause - there wasn't much. To view the "entertainment" you have to sit on small plastic seats in regimental rows 24 wide, yes I was so bored I counted them! It's like watching the school play but less entertaining. We found it much better to walk into the town and visit one of the many bars there. This defeats the object of All Inclusive.

The grounds and pools of the hotel are excellent and kept spotlessly clean at all times.

If the hotel can sort out the pool bar and the entertainment area then it would be worth visiting, but as it is I simply cannot recommend it at all.

I would rate it as a poor 3 star.

We stayed self catering in a junior suite and must say this is the nicest, cleanest and best equipped apartment we have stayed in all over europe. Sand dunes are out of this world, but a bit on the windy side, and it is also a complimentry bus ride away(7 mins) not quite the same as a nice leisuely stroll to the beach. The beach that you can walk to is ok, but not quite paradise! Walking into town is much quicker along the beach rather than the road.(10 mins) or 20-25 along the road. Good selection of restaurants although we only found one that we wanted to go back to Casa De La carne steakhouse, which is actually off the main strip, towards waikiki beach bar/club. As for the most important thing, english breakfast!! the only one that opens before 10am and is any good is Angels which is on the same side turning as the above restaurant. Hotel has nice pools although only one is heated which gets very busy and grounds are well maintained, room was cleaned daily, huge lovely bed. supermarket next to hotel. Excursion recommended is the oasis park, camel trek up a hill and lots of aniamal shows , very well organised, with lunch chucked in. Although we would return, found the climate not quite warm enough for us, as when overcast, which was quite often it was a bit on the cool side.

Stayed at this hotel for New year. The rooms, pool areas and food facilities were excellent. The big dissappointment was the entertainment - this was not just the poor quality but the actual entertainment area - this is a "theatre style". It means you sit in rows and cannot have a drink or sit and relax as you are in rows. The only other area for evenings is outdoors and in December it was just too cold!!!!!!!!!
This hotel needs to sort this out as with a good indoor entertainment area, we would return as everything else was excellent.

We stayed here the week before christmas. there were two adults and one infant in our party.

This was our third time to the island but the first time we have travelled with a child so we wanted to stay somewhere that was all inclusive. This seemed like the best deal for us so ignoring some of the bad reports we thought we would give it a go, after all it couldn't be that bad as it was a 4 star hotel. Anyway we are not the types to let anything ruin our holiday.

I have to say this was one of the best holidays we have ever had. I cannot rate the hotel high enough.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, could not do enough for you. The maid came and cleaned our rooms every day and made the place spotless. she even tidied up our mess and put our stuff away (ok sometimes it took us an hour to find things but its the thought that counts!) The food was delicious, we both put on about a stone on this holiday. you really would never go hungry. so much to choose from in the evenings and at lunch and breakfast. They even cook steaks in front of you so you can have it to your preference.

There are so many swimming pools you never would have time to visit them all. We had one outside our front door which was cool but it was too cold to go in, apparently there were only 2 heated ones. You never had to fight for a lounger as plenty to go around.

The distance from town was not as bad as everyone makes out, after all you need to try and burn off the food! it took us about 15 mins to walk to town across Waikiki beach but we hired a car from the airport and drove most of the time. Waikiki beach was lovely but we prefered going to the sand dunes most days anyway.

The weather was pretty good, 5 days out of 7 were hot and sunny but 2 days were raining. apparently Dec and Jan are the worst months so avoid if you can. It didn't ruin out holiday anyway as found plenty to do when it rained.

Went shopping in Puerto del Rosario one day to a really big shopping mall.

after reading reviews about this hotel and others i thought this one was the best option, and to be honest i was wrong. although this hotel caters for fully inclusive there is some s/c apartments within the complex. but i'm not sure if we went at the wrong time of the year but there was not a lot of "Brits" about, and 99% was spanish, german, italians, ect... and if you do not have a fully inclusive band on your wrist you was looked upon as a "leper" so not once did my family use any of the eating or entertianment on the complex so i can not comment on there good or bad scale, the rooms was on the small size, if you was four adults you would indeed be struggling, not a lot of storage areas for you to hang clothes up. although the so called queen size bed was just comfortable, this bed was indeed two single beds pushed to gether with a double headboard to resenble a double bed, the bed was made up with beding (sheets) for two singles, and a throw over that covered both beds, if you get raunchy through the night!!! the beds will most deftinly part company, and some one will end up on the floor. the kitchen was basic two ring cooker, just enought cutlery for each person. the air con unit is in the kitchen area and not near the sleeping areas so that was not really used, plus it stunk to high heaven, the bath room was of a good standard, the rooms and towels was changed often, my concern was on two occasions the maids left our bedroom window wide open, for any tom dick or harry to get our goodies, and once left our patio doors open as well on another day, (we was on a ground floor apt)and on another day the maids just wiped all the work surfaces on to the floor and left them with mopping or sweepinf the floor, so when we came back we was infasted with hundreds of ants all over the apartment floor, (this hotel is crawling with them)(photo's of prove) parden the "pun" there is a private beach area for them on the complex, we used it for around 2 hours as we did not feel comfortable, as when we entered the beach we got informed by some of the bathers who was already there that we had to leave as this is private and for them who is only staying in the hotel, (they did not see the wrist band on our wrist) we quickly showed them our room card showing indeed we will not be removed and we will bathe where the hell we like, that was the last time we went there on our stay, the pool areas was good, plenty of beds, and the water was cold but clean. around the hotel there is a bulit on super market that sold your basic needs but on the expensive side, there is a bar/cafe just round the corner that you can get a breakfast (not open till 10:30am) this is owned by some great lass's the walk to the main shops ect... is more of a 25 minute walk, well i think that about covers it, would i go back to this hotel, not on your life. oh nearly forgot when going out on to the main paths around the hotel be carefull of all the dog poo

We have just come back from a week at this resort. We were unfortunate in the fact that the weather was extremely windy and for four days the beach was red flagged meaning you couldn't swim.

The hotel resort we found very quiet and relaxing. There are a few pools to go to if you don't want to be near any children.

Ours chldren were 12 and 13 and amused themselves in the main pool, there was also table tennis, volley ball, a basketball hoop all of which you didn't have to pay for. If you wanted to play tennis then you could hire the equipment.

There were plenty of sun beds available by the pool. We ate in the hotel for three main meals, 16euros per adult and 8euros per child, this was a buffet and you could eat as much as you like.

The food in the hotel was very good value compared to the prices if you ate out in the restaurants in the resort. Our favouite restaurant in the resort was La Tosca in the main street by the Plaza.

Took a bus to Puerto del Rosario for the shopping but to be honest I wouldn't bother as it is quite expensive there. The complex is huge running into 4 storeys. The walk to Correlejo town centre is quicker if you go via the beach. However, we did use the taxi service and cost between 2 and 4 euros one way.

Our only criticism is that when the weather is like we had, extemely windy and gusting, we struggled to find something to do.

This is the only reason why we wouldn't go back to Fuerteventura.

This was our first all inclusive, done with some trepidation. But we were very pleasently supprised.
We are foodies and enjoy dining out alot. The key here is not to expect the Ritz. I have read alot of reviews and fail to see what some people's problem is there is such a huge choice you can not fail to find something to like and all the other guests I spoke to agreed. Whats more one of our children has food allergies and he eat better than on other holidays. So if you can't put up with food that is varied and fine for a 1-2 week stay, stay at home or spend another £5000 and go to a 5star!
The key to a holiday in my eyes is that if the kids enjoy it you do. Mine did and we have booked for next year with friends.
The entertainment is basically the reps trying really hard to make you have fun and we have seen worse. My kids went every night and loved it ( my wife did too !!) I must confess to not going every night but chatted with other parents over drinks whilst it was on. Again if you want world class entertainment go to Vagas.

4 star hotel !! I would liken it to a upper end butlins, no atmosphire in any of the bars the plaza being the main entertainment area furnished with plastic chairs hardly 4 star comfort, most guests took to playing cards most nights as there is nothing else to do, no music after the nightly show had finished this consisted of staff miming badly to backing tracks.Food ok plenty of choice would not return in a hurry.

When we arrived at the Hotel, we were please with how pretty and clean the grounds were. The maps weren't as bad as others have said.

Our first over all impression of the Hotel was good, until we got to meet some of the receptionists. I agree with other comments, most weren't that helpful. We did encounter a man and a woman on reception who were - but sorry can't remember names!

The rooms were cleaned everyday - to a good standard. Various times of day. We even had a room cleaned after 7 at night where we had been in and out of it all day!
If you have a room overlooking the tennis courts - be warned there was a pungent smell!

There is a lot of building work going on all around the hotel. Do not let this put you off, apart from a claxon telling the workers of breaks etc, noise was really minimal.

The Hotel is a little too far away from the main town to walk with young children, but plenty of people we met with older children walked there in fifteen to twenty minutes. About the same walk to the Water Park if you are travelling there light so we were told.

The restaurant staff in the main Gaudi restaurant were brilliant. (Most night we sat on the left hand side where you go in) We had a young baby and a 4 year old with us, and they looked after us well, and always made a fuss of the children. Expect to queue after 830 pm for your dinner for about 25 minutes! In the mornings if there is a queue - sit outside for your breakfast - no need to wait!
The food was good for all inclusive, we are a fussy family - I don't eat meat, DH not a veg / salad lover and DD a typical fussy 4 year old. I struggled one night on the second week, when the food was repeated, and I'd tried it the first week, and decided I wouldn't bother with that choice a second time. I would say - the trick to the food not being too repititive is to have a particular meal rather than buffet style food IYKWIM?! The only complaint really with the Gaudi restaurant was that even though we were always there for first sitting was the food was not as hot as I would have liked it. The milanese had less choice of an evening, but lunchtimes offered baguettes, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, chips and salad. The food was always hotter here. There would sometimes be a queue for baguettes, but unless the person in front was ordering more than 4 it always moved at a steady pace. Some chefs were more generous with fillings than others! If you are all inclusive and want to eat all day, position yourself by the Milanese! (By the activity pool)
If you book a packed lunch - collect it early - as you may find that it has been given away - or not made!
Ice creams were only free if you want scoop style from the Milanese. If you want to pay for them, and like chocolate icecreams DOVE icecreams were heavenly!!!
The alchohol rule for AI is 2 drinks per person, however, a couple of times we did get more. I think the thing is - forewarned - forarmed - if there is a party of you going - you need more than one person to go to the bar. It isn't an unreasonable request IMO of the hotel. I ditto the comment about the bar staff liking a little spanish being spoken to them!

The entertainment during the day was pretty much non stop. We put our 4 year old in kids club, and had to stay - not quite enough going on for her to be entertained by the staff alone, when there are so many languages being spoken - she found it a little daunting, although it did not stop her going back if we went with her. Kind of defeats kids club! However, what we could see of the older kids club - it looked much better - as long as they like games and sports. In the evening there was mini disco by the Milanese at 8pm, (A good time for under 8's) bingo at 9pm, followed by a show.

There were loads of pools to choose from, we liked the pools that seemed to be by the self catering area, as it had a big and a child pool next to each other. From what we could see as we walked about, sunbeds were available until about 11am, but if you wanted the same spot on a daily basis - "bagging" it by 10am usually sufficed! No need to get up at 7 to do this!!!!!

We would recommend this hotel to others. There is plenty to do here - if you want an active holiday. We were happy by the pool as our 4year old was in her element, so for us it was a really relaxing holiday.

Just a tip - if you travel late August - the second week we needed thin jackets in the evening, as the breeze picked up.

Went to this hotel in August las ttwo weeks, self catering. Lovely place our apartmentlooked out on to a grassy area at the front and a cactus garden at the back we were in the relax area. Apartments very nice always clean, towels replaced if you left them in the bath, Had a problem with the toaster asked three times before a brand new one was delivered. We had a 13, 10 and 4yrold none of the minded the walk back from town as we came back via the beach walk,we would either walk or get a taxi into town for our evening meal and ate somewhere diferent every night with no complaints, there are many restuarants on the sea front with lovely views.
Bus service ok went to Rosaria and el castilla on two days no pronlems.
Very nice markets for a change by the market is a small theme park for small kids only open at night, for older ones there was a haunted house.
One day we went on a two hr trip on trikes it was wonderful, you follow the leader but drive them yourself went to el Castillo lovely.
There are lovely walks on the beach to the sand dunes if you can drag yourself away from the pool, i an glad i went self catering as i did not have to stick around for free food.
The pool by our apartments was the best one i think neb
never to busy sometimes had pool to ourselves especially in the afternoon.

We stayed in a Junior Suite Superior at the Suite-Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura resort on a self catering basis. The name of the suite actually sounds far better than in reality. i was expecting something a bit grander but it was actually a 1 bedroom apartment. The decor and cleanliness however did reflect a hotel room. It was a little on the small side, especially when the sofa bed was put down, but this was only a problem in the mornings when the kids were up and about and wanted to sit on the balcony (the sofa bed extended across the patio doors). The complex overall was very good, very clean and the staff were friendly. As it was peak season, it was quite normal to see towels on sunbeds quite early in the morning. I used to go down at around 8 '0' clock and the majority of the sunbeds were taken. The only drawback with this complex is it's location, it is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Correlejo so if you are self catering and like a bit of variety when eating, then it is a bit of a walk into town. We did encounter a problem on our last day, when we were checking out. I had booked a courtesy room for 4.00pm in order for us to shower and change for the flight home, but when i went to get the key, i was informed there was a problem with this room and it wasn't available. In the end they offered us the use of the Spa changing facilities. This wasn't ideal as several other families also had to use this and there were only 2 showers! I enjoyed the holiday but wouldn't go back due to it's location.

We stayed in the Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort.

The hotel was good with very clean accomodation that had maid service daily. We stayed in a junior superior suite but on reflection should have booked a 2 bed suite as the bed situation for our 12 + 3 year old turned out to be a double sofa bed that when pulled out was 2 single sofa beds which meant that the metal framing between them was dangerous for the 3 year old and the 12 year old didn't get a good nights sleep most nights as her sister kept spinning around in her sleep and kicking her in the face.

We mainly used the swimming pools that were located almost behind the supermarket (If looking from the reception doors down towards the entrance fountain they are past the tennis courts over to your left).

We found that there was always sunbeds available and that most guests did not use these pools due to the fact that the pool bar was never open and you had to do a short walk back to the reception area bar to get drinks.

The childrens pool came up to my 3 year olds chest height but she was fine with arm bands and actually learned to swim whilst there. The only proper baby/toddler pool is located next to the play area but this is so small with never a sun bed available after 7am that i really don't see the point. This was an area we felt could be improved.

The staff were all very helpful and spoke excellant English except the maids who seemed to speak very little.

The food on the whole was good but we have had better from other hotels of the same rating. The breakfast was vast with a great choice but lunch was usually what could be made from last nights left overs, and the evening meals were usually ok altough even for me who never struggles to find something I like. Even I found it hard on a couple of occassions and we only went for 1 week.I even came down with a bad case of vomiting the day before returning home and not that I would like to say it definitely was a mild case of food poisoning but I have had it before and the syptoms were very much the same. The fresh baguettes were nice but again could have more choice for fillings.

On the whole we had a nice time but we haven't ever returned to the same hotel twice and if we were to do so this would not be one that we would not go back to, as I said we have stayed in better for the rating.

We have just got back from an all inclusive stay here.

We all agreed that the accomodation was excellent and the gardens, pools etc were also excellent.

We also thought this was a great place for families as it is so child friendly. We knew this before our holiday, but since it was June and before school holidays we thought that would be o.k. For any adults thinking of going to this resort I would say it could be a nightmare. Never in my life have I heard so many crying babies and bawling kids. We do adore kids and enjoy our lovely grandchildren but on holiday this was a bit much. There were buggy parks otside the dining room and on our first night we counted 20 buggies and that was just when we were going in/ The place was bedlam and by our second week was so unbearable that though we were a.i. we were going out to eat just for a bit of peace. There was an adult only pool which was really nice but parents were still allowing their kids to use it. Some brave British people asked them more than once to move their kids. At night possibly because of being a.i. babies and toddlers were being carried or wheeled in and out of the bar until midnight, so no peace there either.

Sounds like one big moan, but we enjoyed our hols as we always do but first time ever was glad to get back to the peace and quiet of Britain.

If you have kids this is definitely the place to be as they can run riot, meet lots of other wee ones and have a wonderful time. If you want a relaxing holiday this is not the place.

This complex is fab. The rooms were lovely, very spacious with a nice seating area and were cleaned daily ( although our room was missed out on 3 occassions ) but when we reported this to the reception they had a cleaner there asap.

There are 5 different pool area's with plenty of sunbeds. We were by the relax pool which was always nice and quiet and if children came into the pool making any noise the manager would come and tell them to be quiet or move to the family pool which was mad and very noisy all day, it was nice to have a choice.

The animation team were great fun and kept everyone entertained all day and night, that's if you wanted, they did'nt hassle you.

The food was lovely especially the a la carte resturantes, Italian and Spanish. The spanish was my favourite, lots of choice and we were stuffed when we came out.

The second week of our holiday was half term for the kids and the complex was fully booked and was probably too busy. The buffet resturant was very busy and the staff struggled to clear tables. Some people had to wait outside for tables. I would'nt advice anyone without children to visit this resort during school holiday times, we had a teenager with us and even we thought it was a bit crazy the second week.

The staff in general were very pleasant and helpfull except for 1 waiter in the lobby bar (Deiago) who was very ignorant and would go missing in the back room for 10 mins rather than serve you, but never mind the others were lovely and friendly, especially the young lady on the pool bar at the childrens pool. She worked so hard all day on her own and always had a smile for everyone.

All the activities on offer were excellent, tennis, basketball, volleyball, darts, fully equiped gym and spa and lots of others, it kept my teenage son happy for 2 weeks, we barely seen him he made so many friends there.

Overall i would recommend this complex to familys with children. We really enjoyed ourselves and would consider returning in the future.

I will start off with the construction site as I know there are a few people waiting to hear about this. The building site is an enormous shopping centre and I mean enormous. But honestly, there is only one place in the hotel grounds that you really notice it and thats by the main heated pool. The buildings in the hotel are only two storey and you can't really see around them, if you know what I mean. With the exception of round the main pool. there's a gap of around forty to fifty foot in the buildings and from here you can see the building site. I think I heard hammers once the whole time I was there and occasionally noticed the cranes moving (you can see them as they are enormous). But honestly, we never really noticed the building site other than that and it definitely didn't impact on my holiday.

The hotel is nice, the food in the main Gaudi buffet restaurant is lovely. There are always two chefs show cooking, one usually steak and chicken and the other two different kinds of seafood. Along with a carvery with usually, pork, lamb, turkey etc on it too. Then there are the usual pastas, vegetables and several other main courses to choose from. I really enjoyed the food and put on about half a stone, so that says it all really. There is also an extensive salad bar, soups, bread and puddings to choose from. The only complaint I have is that I couldn't get booked into either of the Al a carte restaurants, you have to be at reception first thing in the morning (ie before 9) to book for the following evening and the restaurants don't open on a Monday and Tuesday.

The animation team are great. They do everything. There is only six of them and they run the kids clubs during the day, darts, archery etc by the pool outwith the two kids clubs sessions and then they do the shows at night. Don't get me wrong, the shows aren't brilliant, but they are entertaining and worth seeing because there's nothing else to do here at night. I think because I knew how hard the team worked I appreciated the shows more. They did a comedy show, a caberet quiz thing, Grease and Cats are the ones I remember. They mime to everything but as I say its worth watching. Two of the team are absolutely fantastic dancers and god knows why they're not working professionally in the west end or something.

If you've got kids, as I say theres not a lot for them to do at night. There is a wheelchair ramp down to the main plaza area which most of the young kids (including my one) spend the whole night sliding up and down. Great fun for them, but not so great fun for the six pairs of trousers that got ripped in the process! Other than that they do a free bingo to win a bottle of champagne, just before the show starts, but between the numbers being read out in English, German and then Spanish and all the kids running around I really couldn't concentrate on it anyway.

The little baby pool is tiny, but theres an excellent sandy play park there for the kids and its handy for the kids club too. There are two other pools next to it, one of which is an adults only pool (despite the kids in the pool!). My main complaint about this area is 1. My balcony door opened onto the relax adults pool and I didn't use it because I had a little un, even though others did and 2. The bar here was shut because it was out of peak season, which I was annoyed at as there was more than enough people round these pools to justify opening it. It meant walking away up to the main pool bar for a drink. Several times we opted to get a couple of cans of juice from the Netto supermarket just at the entrance to the hotel, even though we were all inclusive!

The choice of drinks on all inclusive is ok. They have a couple of branded whiskys, Ballantynes, J&B etc on ai. The house vodka is ok and the house beer is Estrella Damn which is nice. They also do a couple of all inclusive vodkas, jugs of Sangria and hot chocolate etc all on all inclusive. It was quite as limited for drinks as I thought it would be which is good.

The breakfast in the mornings is nice too and has an excellent selection in the main Gaudi restaurant. The pool bar does a late breakfast from 10am to 11am but to be honest it is very very limited and I felt as if I was imposing on the staff there just by being there. If I have any complaints about the staff in this hotel it would be in this restaurant as the rest of the hotel staff are amazing. They also do a lunch buffet in the pool bar, again very very limited. But they have the sandwich corner here which is brilliant freshly baked baguettes with a range of different fillings, well worth trying!

Be aware that if you are wanting a baguette and the chef runs out of fillings, you will have to stand there for 15 mins while he refills his ingredients. He doesn't say a word to you either or put up a sign, he just goes and chops up all his stuff while you standing there huffing and puffing. Again the main restaurant staff are completely the opposite of this. We only had one night where I would have complained the service was slow and they did look very short staffed.

The reception staff were really nice and we had excellent service from them. You can also order a packed lunch if you are going to the beach and are all inclusive. You just need to order from reception by 8pm the night before you want it. We did this and were quite happy by what we received. It was two sandwiches each, fruit, fruit juice a bottle of water and a cake, well it was adequate anyway.

The hotel run a bus to the beach which goes about once an hour which is excellent. You get dropped off just at the Oliva Beach hotel and the beach here is stunning. A five minute walk will take you to the sand dunes and these are out of this world, as is the crystal blue waters here, you could easily imagine yourself transported to the carribean. People should be aware though that there is a lot of naturism here so further along the beach is full of people starkers and they're not shy about it, so if you're shy you should stay down nearer the hotels.

The hotel rooms are nice, we had a junior suite which had an enormous bed, which was actually really comfortable for a change, the comfiest hotel room bed I've ever had. There was a large sliding door seperating that from the living area, where the sofa bed was converted already when we arrived into an adequate comfy single bed and still left room for sitting. The bathroom was nice and clean with an excellent deep bath and a shower. There was also a dress room with fabulous storage for all your clothes and room for suitcases to be stored too. The safe is held in this room and is free if you are on all inclusive. Please also note that you don't need to take pool towels to this hotel with you, its not very well advertised but the reception give you cards which you can exchange for pool towels in the spa. Saves loads of room for duty free in your cases.

I went to the spa and treated myself to a manicure and a pedicure. It cost 75 euros for both and took two hours in total. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed it but to be honest I've had far superior manicures and pedicures for a tenner in Turkey, also much better ones at home but it was worth it for the relaxation and hand and feet massages.

The spa itself is nice and has a gym, sauna and spa. Worth a visit to escape hubby and kids for a wee while ;-)

The private beach opposite the hotel isn't really worth going to. Its quite rocky, although my four year old enjoyed collecting bits of lava rock from the beach. Its nice and quiet though if you just want to dig a sandcastle. 10 minutes walk along to the left will take you to Waikiki beach which is a lovely beach with two bars/restaurants and a gorgeous little bay. Well worth spending a day at.

I did overall enjoy myself at this hotel. I'm not 100% sure if I would return though as it wasn't quite as luxurious as I had hoped. I would rate it as an excellent three star, but feel its pushing it a bit to rate it as a four. Its also a wee bit out of the town of Corralejo and as I said there's not really anything to do at night. I would return to Corallejo in a flash but think it would be to either a flashier or hotel, or one nearer the town. I highly recommend it though, you make your holiday what you make it at this hotel and the food and drink are good.

We stayed at the Suite Hotel Atlantic Fuerteventua resort and had a fantastic time.

Rooms were large with doors seperating us and the kids, very clean, with fridge and kettle!

Food was lovely, well presented and had chefs cooking the food infront of you, which was nice.

Staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful.

Close to beach and the sand dunes are a must.

This complex has everything and I recommend it.

The entertainment in the evening is a bit different as they mime to everything, ie different shows, musicals etc. but it is done very well.

I agree with those who have posted already about this hotel. I would like to add some points.

All the rooms are either on the ground floor or on the first floor. Anyone who is disabled or finds stairs difficult should request a ground floor room as there are no lifts. Even some of the ground floor rooms are up a step or two. Apart from that the hotel is wheelchair friendly as far as I could see. However, the lighting at night outside my room was very poor and it would not be difficult to have a nasty fall from one of the steps - particularly if tipsy.

I had half board and that was quite adequate. The nearby supermarket sells locally brewed cooled beer in bottles and cans (Strongbow too), wine, spirits. It is much cheaper than at the dinner table if you are not on all-inclusive. My room had a refrigerator in which it was possible to keep some bottled water or beer. The supermarket also sells the popular UK newspapers, most on the day of publication.

The room was excellent and the most spacious I have had in Europe. The bedroom had shutters and they could be drawn to section off the lounge area, which had a 20inch TV (Sky News, Eurosport, MTV, and CNN available plus some Spanish, German, Italian and French channels). The lounge had french doors which opened on to the balcony. However, there was no privacy on the balcony if the occupants of the adjoining room were on their balcony, neither was there any shelter from the sun. All that separated the two balconies was a wall about three feet high. Additionally, the balcony was near one of the pools - the noisy one - and pop music and an excitable member of staff were often to be heard over the loudspeaker system. However, noise ceased at 6.30pm.

The food was plentiful and no one would go hungry.

Cleaning of the room, although thorough. was often not done until the afternoon.

I liked the town. It was neither too commercialised, nor too quiet.

The sole of my trainers came off while I was in Corralejo. I had no option but to dive in to the nearest shop and buy another. I was done! I paid 105 euros (about £75) for a non-famous make. The choice was poor too.

The town has several British themed bars offering UK beers, live soccer from home and other sports. English breakfasts are also widely on offer. The old town, where most of the restaurants are, is about 1.25 miles from the hotel. The walk is not hilly and the only problem is avoiding the dog mess!

As for the shops, there are many selling digital and video cameras. Many are unpriced, so if you are thinking of buying check out how much it would cost back home and establish what happens if it goes wrong in six months' time. Bargain the price down! The Canaries are a duty-free zone, like the Channel Islands. You have an allowance of £145 - above that you could be charged tax when you arrive in the UK. Lanzarote - day trips from Corralejo are daily - is said to have lower prices. I was in the market for a new camera but decided not to buy as the saving was not worth the risk.

There are several Internet cafes in Corralejo and at least one is run by a Brit who was very helpful. Cheaper phone calls home can also be made from there.
I was in Fuerteventura in late November and did not expect or want temperatures in the 100Fs. The weather was pleasant and never cold. People were on the beach and around the pool.

We have just returned from a two week holiday in this great hotel, the other reviews have really said it all. I just back it up, a tip is don't pack beach towels they are provided one per person and changed daily whenever you want, a really great service, also the cleaner came every single day and brought fresh towels, the shower gell was refilled when needed. These little touches make it special. The whole hotel is very very clean.

We only ate the once in the buffet restaurant, it was ok but we would not have repeated it. Anyway there are some fab places to eat, we just followed the peacock rocks list from the discussion forum, and were not disapointed.

My only complaint was that we were staying in a jnr suite and our teenage son was sleeping in the sofa bed in the lounge which made it a very small apartment with no comfortable chair to sit on, we did ask to be upgraded to a two bedroom apt but there were none available. The sliding door between our bedroom and the lounge had fallen and was really difficult to open and shut, a problem with the apartment upstairs also as we found out late every night,a bit noisy !

The pools were great and never too busy lots and lots of spare sunbeds, we only used the one near us ( we were in the quiet area) once, the water was pretty cold.

We loved the position of the hotel, we like a walk every night before and after dinner and this was just right, about twenty minutes, in a nice quiet location. The bus every hour to the sand dunes is great, the small beach beside the hotel is not worth bothering with, as the Olivia beach is fabulous.

We would return to this super hotel, but to a two bed which would give us privacy.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Suite Atlantis.was a bit worried as we didn't arrive until 9.45pm but were met by lovely receptionists, who gave us all the information we needed and very happy to find buffet restaurant was open until 10.30pm as we were all a bit peckish.

On arriving at our room we were amazed by the size, we had a 2 bedroom suite which was beautifully decorated lots of lamps and pictures, 2 balconys a fantastic bathroom and walk in wardrobe, including a safe.

The pools were lovely a bit cold but ok when you got in.
the animation team were brilliant my 10 year old beacame their helper for the week.

Towels were provided daily for the pool so no need to take your own. The room was cleaned daily.

The Spanish and Italian restaurants were a bonus we visited twice and had fantastic food and service buffet restaurant also good, and daytime snacks and sandwiches were available all day at the pool bar, we were spoilt for choice.

3 tennis courts are available to book for hour slots/which is also good fun.

There was building work going on around us but was not obhtrusive in fact it was intersting to watch the cranes.

We will definitely return in the near future

We pulled up at the hotel, to see building cranes towering above the reception! But, not once did they bother us during our holiday, no noise or dust.

Cleanliness, the hotel, grounds and rooms are lovely and clean.

Room, we had a junior suite, huge double bed in the bedroom, and 2 beds in the lounge.Air con is fab, a mozzi plug-in is even left in the room for you.Towels changed when left in the bath.Tv in bedroom, not sure about channels, but we did see a kids cartoon channel, a news channel and a film channel in English.

Food, loads of choice, meat cooked on request, but you must stress you want well done or else it will be cooked rare. For breakfast, you can eat outside, and the waiters will bring you coffee if you request it.

The bars do give you free bottles of water if you are on AI.You can get Baileys, Malibu, etc but it is the local equivalent. There are 3 cocktails on AI, 1 kids, 1 non alcholic, and a lovely one with yellow rum in!

There are 7 pools in total, sunbeds were never a problem for us, but if you want a particular pool, then towells started going on the sunbeds about 9am ish, so not too early. There is a life guard on duty, and inflatebles are allowed.Get towells from the spa.

Staff- very helpful, reception sometimes had a queue, but it didnt take long to go down, unless it was check in day.
waiters-brilliant! we had such a laugh with some of them. Give them a tip during the evening and they looked after you really well.Alot of the waiters work at one bar during the day, then a differnt one in the evening,so it really is worth giving them a tip!

Taxi's, if you need to order one, go to the security box outside and they will phone for you.

Netto, is just outside the reception and down the road a bit for any bits you may need.

Entertainment- have to say I didnt watch it, but, my 10yr old loved it, and they work sooo hard.

At night time there is a security guard who wanders about.
There are 2 computers in reception, but these are very overlooked by people.

Upstairs in reception are reading books that people have left behind, anyone can take them too read.

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, and not one mozzi bite in 2 weeks!

We stayed in Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura at the end of June/beginning of July - and it was amazing!
I can honestly say that it was the best holiday I've ever been on. The hotel was even better than the brochure reported it would be.

We were self catering, although we did go to the buffet when we first arrived as our flight had been delayed and we were starving! It was ok for one night, but I can imagine you'd start to crave variety if you were eating there every night.

We booked into the Milanese restaurant one night and it was lovely. The food was fantastic, although the portions weren't very big.

The hotel was very clean, we even saw someone cleaning outside the front of the hotel at 10pm. The maid who came into our room was very good, she even went as far as fold my nightie in a pretty pattern on the pillow.

There was some building work going on but we were located the other side of the resort so it didn't bother us at all. The pool nearest to the building works played music all day so it sort of drowned it out.

The pools were lovely, although we stayed at the same one all the time, the one nearest to the 'quiet area'. There are changing huts near to the pool for any shy people, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available (although we didn't go in the height of school holidays!)

The poolside bar served pizza, burgers and sandwiches as well as drinks. The lady who served us was very friendly and often sang all day!

Our room was lovely. The bed is huge, and there's plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom is modern and clean and new towels are available everyday. The only downside was the kitchen. it was fine for us as we ate out every evening and just had cereal in the mornings. If you wanted to be a bit more adventurous you would struggle as there's hardly any utensils. You can hire kitchen things from the reception though and you'll be given a list on arrival.

The hotel staff were fab, always smiling and helpful.
The reception staff were very patient and even helped me with my very poor Spanish!

The shows that the entertainment team put on in the evenings were good, esp if you've got children.
I'm not sure what the daytime activities were like as we never got involved, we'd like to do our own thing.

The location was ideal for us. It's in a quiet area of town, but the hussle and bustle wasn't too far away. Don't even think about walking into town!! A taxi costs no more than 3 euro.

I get the impression that the town is expanding more and more, hence all the building works going on. I expect if we were to go back next year there would be hotels even further out from the centre of town and this hotel would be classed as central!

I would go back to this hotel at the drop of a hat. Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous hotel, fantastic weather and everything you need to hand equals a wonderful holiday!

We booked this hotel via the web at a vastly reduced price and whilst we had excellent value for money the full price would not have been such good value.

The rooms here are very large and consist of kitchen area, lounge area, bedroom and small balcony or terrace .

The bedroom has one of the biggest double beds I have seen. Its Huge I was able to lie full stretch across its width. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and the lounge air con, both worked well.

The hotel has 5 pools situated around the complex, each has a bar near, although not all were open whilst we were there.

There are 3 restaurants, the main one,an italian and a spanish one. We ate in both the main and spanish ones both were very good with a vast choice, they also have chinese some nights. You had to pre book for the spanish or Italian restaurants 1 day in advance but it was worth it.

The entertainment was very low key, mostly sketches etc, although they did have flamenco 1 night. The entertainment was put on in a "theatre" where you sat in rows of seats that were fixed to the floor. this made access difficult and you had to hold your drinks there being nowhwere else to put them except on the floor. The entertainment area and main restaurtant are down 1 level, the entertainment area is open and seems to be the main gathering point for the mozzies.

The children were very well looked after at the hotel. There seemed to be dozen's of childrens entertainers and they would also take your kids off your hands for a few hours every day.all the kids seemed to really like the set up.

It is about a 10/15 minute walk to the main town area, a taxi is 2 to 3 Euros. There are plenty of bars and restaurants here with reasonable prices and entertainment.
All the staff at the hotel are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are the most pleasant I have ever come across at any hotel. This was from the Manager down to the cleaners, everbody talks to you with a genuine smile on their face.

Whilst we were there the hotel was less than half full so there was plenty of room everwhere, although I would imagine it could get quite crowded in high season.
There was always a security guard on the main entrance, after dark there were 2.

All in all very good value and we would stay there again.

We stopped in a Suite, all inclusive and can say it was the best hotel room we have stopped in abroad! Beautiful, fresh, clean, modern decor with nice big bed and great sprung sofa bed for our 4yr old.

Lovely gardens, we stopped in the far left apartment block next to the driveway and road (no noise at all), but not much view in the evening from balcony but very very peaceful. Would have preferred to stop nearer the reception for ease of fetching drinks and closer to the pools but then glad didn't stop near to the activity pool as noisier and had view of building work next door (no noise though).

Would definitely go again, really tropical feel to gardens and great choice of pools.

The hotel is located some 15 minute walk from the centre of Correljo.

The full board basis was excellent for families especially when you have fussy children.

There was a good selection of food. There was always a large selection of cooked dishes , salad bar and then a show cooking area for steaks, pork , chicken and fish , there was also a pasta area and Chinese.

There was a selection of 7 pools with one of these being heated, the only down fall was that the heated pool did not allow children, this was in the RELAX zone.
there was also a pool towel service which changed your pool towels daily.

The room was of a high standard of cleanliness and was well presented, there was also a daily maid service.
Although the pools all seemed to have pool bars located closely to them the down side was due to the fact we visited in March the hotel did not seem to have the number of staff capable of opening all the bars.

This was also evident at meal times as they had only opened the lower section of the restaurant and at times we had to wait for a table, there also no maitre de to seat you so there were a number of tables of 4 which only had 2 seated.

There was also a wait for clean bowls at breakfast. Although I am sure as the season progresses this will be improved with extra staff.

The night entertainment was mainly the animation team miming to songs (not Great).

As a whole the holiday was fantastic and we would definitely book an Atlantis hotel again in the future.
It was excellent value for money

We stayed at Atlantis Suite Hotel at the end of March. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. There is a separate bedroom, but it is a folding door the whole length of the wall which we kept open so it was more like an open plan apartment.

The double bed was huge - definately big enough for the 2 of us, but was a bit hard - the single fold out in the sitting room was softer.

The TV didn't have many english channels, but did have a german film channel that showed english films with german subtitles so we were able to watch them!

Pools were very clean and quiet, although I expect the quietness was because we went in low season. It was dissapointing all the pool/snack bars weren't open as they would have been useful to us as we were self catering. The facilities for SC were a little dissapointing as there was no oven or microwave, and with regards to cutlery, there was a knife, fork spoon for all of us but not much else as in no bread knife or small veg knife etc.

Hotel was quite quiet apart from the decorating and the decorators painting and chatting at about 7 in the morning.

About a 10-15 min walk to town, but in the evening we used to get a cab (about 3 euros). Cleaners came every day and seemed very thorough.

The food available to us at the restaurants on site was dissapointing as we were SC, but again, this may be better in high-season.

We had the best holiday we have ever had. Decided to get a cancellation at last min and we stayed here. Arrived at night so when we walked in it was stunning the receptionist was so friendly.

They had saved us a welcoming meal of cold sadwiches and fruit and a cold drink which to the kids delight they were starving ,was taken to the room which was a 2 bedroom with a walk in wardrobe which was brill as you had no clutter in your bedrooms.

Outside our patio door was a baby swimming pool a big huge playground which had sand on the ground all buckets/spades ect and was all fenced in and also a kids mini club which opened from 10 till 12 and 3 to 5 .

The child entertainment was brilliant they made the kids so welcome my kids are emailing them as made such good freinds ,they have entertainment on evrey night from 9 till 11 with diffrent shows evreynight which they make up and do themselves they have monday off there is a mini disco also on tue -sun evreynight .

The food was fab breakfast between 7-10 with alsorts of variety dinner between 12-2 with a wide range catering for children as well from hot-dogs/pizza/chips/sandwiches/beefburgers then from 2-4 you could have snacks/then after 4 -5 it was biscuits and buns
Evening meals then started from 7 TILL 10 in the main restaurant or you could go to the Italian or Spanish resturant by reserving a table.

This hotel was of an excellent standard. The only fault we had was it had just changed fom the Magic Life complex which was for Germans and lol had no English channels so we hired a dvd but that was not important .

We are currently looking to go back for the summer. Hope this helps someone.
