| said: Hotel consists of two towers, an 18 storey overlooking 57th St and a 10 storey overlooking 56th St. The 10 storey has an outdoor pool on top.
Stayed on the 7th floor overlooking 57th. Clean and large rooms. Bathroom was a little small but adequate. Hotel in general was clean although the reception area was dimly lit.
Some noise from the road as to be expected in NYC. Bottom floors of the high block may be kept awake. Noise from inside hotel such as doors banging, water flushing through pipes, A/C fan etc, but this can happen anywhere.
Located in a busy area where I felt safe even after 11pm, always people walking about. Some run down buildings in the area but many ultra modern. It is about 10 minutes walk to 59th St, Columbus circle subway station. Plenty of delis, 24 hour supermarkets, coffee shops etc within walking distance.
Would stay here again and recommend it to friends, although I would ask if the 10 storey block has been renovated and if so ask for a high room there.

| said: On arrival at this hotel. We were checked in rather promptly. However it went downhill from there. On going to our room it was basic as we expected. I put my son to bed who is only 2 and fell asleep myself, however 2 hours later I woke up itching, the bed had fleas. I then examined my son and it was the same for him. Contacted reception and they were extremley unhelpful to say the least. On closer inspection I found blood on the mattress underneath the bed had not been hovered the bath/shower was dirty.
What more can I say. I spent the rest of my first day in New York looking for a new hotel and boy was it hard work. I eventually found one but had to make do with this hotel for one night.
Upon checkout they did try to redeem themselves and give me a refund for that night. Due to paying in cash they gave me cash back, however to top it all off they then proceeded to charge me for that night anyway. I would never reccommend this hotel to anyone
