We arrived at the hotel quite late in the evening and was located to the 8th floor.
The room size was fine, not to large but not to small.
There was a slight problem with our toilet and no heat in the room, but a quick call to reception dealt with this problem very quickly.
It is a city that never sleeps and although the hotel was quiet, the noise outside (delivery men and dustman etc) where not. I suggest ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Breakfast was good, choice of porridge, cornflakes, waffles, toast or donoughts. Would visit again.

The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, the staff in the lobby are very helpful and can help to book all the sightseeing trips .
There is free continental breakfast which is great and well worth having, I think the location is excellent , there is Macy's on one end of the street and a couple of minutes walk to the Empire State building and about 5 minutes to Times square.
I would recommend this hotel as a great little base.
