| said: We have now been to this complex twice, last year we stayed at the Tamlelt side for one week, and this year at the caribbean village side for two weeks.
The cleanliness of rooms IS good, admittedly rooms are basic, but you get what you pay for (this is cheap for all inclusive - we have stayed b&b for more)! Also, the cleanliness of the complex is good - you always see the staff busy, working!
Jamal does a fantastic job maintaining the pool, and policing the sunbeds/parasols. We never had a problem getting a sunbed (we went down to the pool about 10am every morning), but this year (we stayed at the same time last year) there are more sunbeds as the terraces have been extended.
The food is very good. There is always plenty of choice, with vegetables, potatos and chips readily available. The salad bar is also really good and the meat selection also good, with chicken and red meat offered at every sitting. Make sure you visit all the restaurants, as we enjoyed each one.
The staff in the hotel are all friendly, and not only if you tip them, as other people have reported. We tipped the staff we got on with particularly well at the end of our stay - so they didnt know if we would tip them or not - and we were very happy with the service.
The entertainment team are amazing!! They work very long hours, but always have a smile on their face. We even managed a night out with two of them (my parents as babysitters)! The games ARE silly, the shows ARE cheesy, the disco IS geeky - BUT YOU ARE ON HOLIDAY!! The team work very hard, and they are the reason they make this hotel great for familys.
Outside the hotel, the people are very friendly. A polite No thankyou, go's a long way. Please visit the marina on a night - this is when it comes to life!
We have enjoyed our holiday again this year and are looking to book next years holiday to the caribbean village.

| said: This was our second visit to the Carribean Village in Agdir. With ages ranging from 12 years of age to 70 years we found something to suit everyones needs.
An absolutely amazing hotel, basic rooms but you have no need to stay in them all day and so are ideal for what you need them for.
The animation team are incredible. They work from 9am untill the early hours of the morning. Everything is "no problem" they are so friendly and happy. they'll come and sit with you and chat about anything. each being able t speak at least 3 languages. absolutely amazing. i take my hat off to them.
the food is excellent, a massive variety. traditional moroccon tagines to basic chips! you'll find something you like, no doubt about it.
there are many different excursions which your rep will tell you about. we chose to do the marrakech, essouaira and 4 x4 - each of them totally different and totally amazing. the guides are so helpful and so knowledgable. i advise you to do at least one trip out of the village.
i have no bad word to say about this place, absolutely incredible.
i have to go back soon!

| said: On arriving at our accommadtion, we were highly impressed with the quick and efficient way we got checked in. The village itself was impressive in size and we were allocated a ground floor appartment, which overlooked the main pool. The room was cleaned daily and towels and linen were also changed on a daily basis. The food was a bit repetitive, but we were given 6 vouchers to use in the a la carte restaurants on site. We loved the Moroccan-so go and give that a try if you can. The staff were amazing. Waiters were pleasant and eager to please, maids were smiley and friendly. The amination team were amazing, working long hours but always happy to have a chat and a laugh with you. Something is going on in this hotel all the time, and if your active and want to be on the go, you will not go short of entertainment here. On the other hand, if your lazy like me, you have a choice of 5 pools to lay around, all with a bar of their own and we were never short of sun beds. All in all, this hotel was amazing. Will definately be going back again. If you fancy a trip-the berber night is well worth the money.

| said: We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at the Caribbean Village Agador in Agadir Morocco.
First impressions were the speedy check-in & spacious lobby with bars & plenty of seating. The porters took our luggage & showed us to our rooms, we have a disabled person in our party & we were treated to a complimentry wheelchair for the duration of our stay.
The rooms are beautiful & clean with a shower room, separate toilet, plenty of wardrobe space, TV with english channels, comfy beds & a lovely patio with table & chairs. Maids clean the rooms daily with fresh bedding every other day...they are well worth tipping.
There are 4 pools, 2 of which are heated, with plenty of sunbeds surrounding them. Some areas are terraced, so wheelchair users ask the attendant to reserve some on ground level. During our stay, the pools were cleaned out with a pool vaccuum everyday.
The food was EXCELLENT, the first holiday where we havent been ill. The Oasis is the main resteraunt, serving breakfast til 10.30, then a buffet style lunch & evening meal. The choice was excellent with dishes for all tastes, but there are chips or spag bol at every service for the less adventureous eater. The waiters are brilliant and respond well to friendly smiles, please & thank you go a long way, but if you tip them your table will be reserved with drinks of your choice waiting.
There are several themed resteraunts such as Moroccan, Tex Mex, Chineese, Sushi, Italian etc but these must be booked on the intended day of use...all well worth trying.
I think I counted 7 bars which are well stocked & staffed by some of the most friendly people ever. Once again, smiles please & thank you go a long way.
Then comes the BEST bit.
The animation team are just fantastic!!! They work long hours to entertain you, they do all the activities such as ping pong, volley ball, mini golf, tennis, darts, archery etc & even if it rains they organise indoor activities also. They will try to include you in everything including dancing, karaoke, silly games, arabic lessons etc. They will even come to sit & chat with you (thats how they learn English) & keep you company if you are on your own. If you want to be left alone, then a simple no is enough. The evening shows in the Amphitheatre are not to be missed from cabneret to traditional dancing, all tastes are catered for... dont be suprised of they rope you in on stage... just do it you'll enjoy it.
Although the hotel has a lot of steps, there are wheelchair/pram routes to 95% of all areas which are well signposted.
The beach is 250meters away but the prom is being renewed at the moment, so there is a small amount of building work in the area but it didn't affect us in the slightest.
All in all a great holiday, a fantastic hotel & the nicest poeple in the world... you can't go wrong!!!

| said: Just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at this resort. The Agador is amazing. Rooms are basic but clean. Towels were changed daily and linen every 2 days. The hotel grounds were spotlessly clean, as were the pool areas. Sunbeds are hard to get if you don't want to get up at the crack of dawn, but there are plenty of tables around the pools where you can sit and relax with a drink or take yourself down to the private beach where you are guarenteed to get a bed. The bars and restuarants are spacious and airy. The food is a bit bland and can get a bit repetitive at times but we were given 6 vouchers to the ala carte restuarants, so use them. The waiters are friendly and helpful and will try their hardest to make sure everything is fine. The animation team are fantastic-always happy and wanting to please. Plenty of activities to keep everyone amused-whatever your age. Can't praise this hotel enough. Will we go back? We have been home 2 days and have already booked for next year. A great place to stay.

The animation team were fantastic, on the go day and night. The bar staff were brilliant, they really looked after us. Please and thankyou go a long way to these people who work long hours. A special thankyou to 'Arofat' chief barman made our holiday. The people who work on this complex are so so friendly always saying hi and smilng. The 4x4 trip a must fantastic. Just need to be wary of the shop sales people. Met a fantastic family from Liverpool and will keep in touch with them. The food is what I would have exspected when you go to a dfferant country dont expect english food,be adventuros and try something different. Our famliy are very very fussy eaters but always found somthing to eat. No one came down with a funny stomach. Some people complain about anything and everything.Would I go back ? Id be back next week in a flash.

| said: Caribbean Hotel Agador, what a disappointment, we paid alot of money and looked forward to this holiday all year.
First impression felt like going home but the place grew on you. It was basic but clean after a fashion our toilet kept blocking and the out of the 8 lights on the landing only one worked and that was hanging out wires exposed not good with kids!
No air con although it was advertised. Was warned by the rep may get a bad tummy this was very true steve was bad in bed for 24 hours with a type of food poisoning I had it for the last 6 days had to get anti-biotics as advised by the rep and now home im still bad.
It was all inclusive but the food was so bad we had to eat out costing more money! It was located well but you were hasseled eveytime you went out.
Disappointed in the hotel part of the beach but futher down it was nice.entertainement ok but was to ill to see most of it friday night was great though.
We won't be going back again and I wouldn't recommend it either I wish I changed my booking when I read the other reviews about the place they the only good thing was the weather.

| said: This holiday was booked off the net and we eventually discovered that our tour operator was Cosmos! Anyway the hotel, what can I say other than it is a dump. What you see in brochures and on the net pages does in no way show a true picture of this hotel. The complex is hige, split into two, lucky for us that we had the good side. I can't comment on the Tamlet as we didn't saty there, just wandered through so it would be unfair to discuss it, however it did look a bit rough.
Yes the hotel staff are friendly but as I was to discover it's all to do with how much you can tip, if you do your service at this place will increase 10 fold. If you do not, you get the normal treatment which at best is ok. An example is that we wanted extra pillows, this the maid did, we thought we'd try this tipping buisness out. Let me tell you before and after tipping the difference was astounding. The maid even arranged my son's pygamas in a fan shape and even turned the beds down. We told a few people this and because they hadn't tipped, there room was only given lip service at best.
The complex has four pools. There is no childs pool with a nice coloured back drop as seen in some brochures. Sadly it is true, if you want a sunbed the cut off point is around 07.30 for the side pools, but for the main "Butlins style" pool the time is 06.15. The main pool seemed to attract a certain type of holiday maker, each to there own, if your happy to clear the pool when water polo or surf board race is on! Personally we went to the pool with the four pillars, quiet, with a bar(non-alchaholic). Again 07.00 for sunbeds. Ashamedly I did partake in this morning ritual, for research purposes I waited around the main pool to see the shinanigans with towels. Some just came down and removed towlels and replaced with there own, fun and games.
Food, everybody has different tastes and standards, I will eat mostly anything, however I did struggle with the main Oasis "canteen". Again tipped the waiter 100drs(£6) so that we could get a table without getting lost in the place. Funnily enough though on our final day, which the waiter had asked when we were leaving, the service was ,lets say shabby. My son lived on pasta and chips. There is an area for a childrens section, but this is not used, this result s in some children wandering around lost with plates in there hand. Coupled with this everybody else has plates of food, it is an accident waiting to happen. My point is that if a childrens section was there and used, parents could serve the kids first and this would prevent them from wandereing aimlessly seeking something worthwhile to eat. The food menu consisted of under cooked meat with a poor selection of veg and salads that have been left out and th the mercy of the flies! No deserts to speak of. If it wasn't for the fresh eggs at breakfast to bung me up I would of fallen foul of the Dehli Belly! Our saving grace was the themed restraunts. They are not al a catre. However they do give some respite from the main "canteen". The Morrocan night is very good. As they all are, well I say that but didn't do the Sushie and the fish restraunt a bit iffy. No problems with the drinks though, watch out for the Rose`!You can also get fresh bottled water at reception in the evening, without being tipped which was a first.
Entertainment, this is not my bag anyway, but what was there is not worth commenting on. Although the Berber night is good.
Word of warning, do not lose your wrist band. For a child it around £8 to replace and for an adult it is £15. My son lost his in the pool, went to the "friendly" recpetion to check out, where they proceeded to inform about the cost, I refused because the cost in relation to the actual cost of the band is outrageous. The hotel manager rang the airport to refuse me exit of Morocco for non-payment of a bill. If you are wondering why the cost was unknown to me well that is quite simple, the reception didn't put a welcome note in the room to inform us about the normal meeting at the start of any holiday, saying that we were with Cosmos and not even the Cosmos rep knew we were coming, great start. The rep was non-existant, when we finally tracked him down via another rep, he was less than helpful blaming anybody but himself about our arrival issues. A complaint form was filled in by wife, which he didn't appriciate, her being female and that, he took it as an insult, he tended to direct all comments at me not her. Now for all you educated women out there, how annoying is would that be?
In conclusion, hotel dirty, un-friendly staff unless paid, food dodgy, rooms dirty unless maid paid, reception smug and less than professional, speaking French, when I started to replied in French they reverted to Arabic. Never again.....!

| said: Having been on all inclusive holidays for the last 7 years this holiday by far was the worst, having said that we made the most of the holiday.
The hotel itself could be nice if it was maintained more. The rooms were poorly decorated, around the pool area consited of mud and very uneven surfaces. In the main pool were shrap edges and a very dangerous drain in which the cover kept rising. Due to this fact my daughter cut her foot open on the forth day resulting in her being unable to go swimming for the remaining ten days of the holday. This was from the doctors orders.
The food was ok, although every night usually consisted of the same food and never once very hot. The waiters were very helpful if you sit in the same area of the resturant they will offer to bring drinks to the table for you. The ice-cream however wasn't included in the all inclusive.
The location of the hotel is surrounded by shops and resturants, ok if you dont mind being hassled by every shop keeper if you do leave the complex.
If you want a sunbed then its nessecary like i did to get up at 6 in the morning as after 7 there is no chance of getting a sunbed. Even doing so some people from other countries must have thought we got up that early for the fun of it as they would think nothing of removing towels that were there and putting their own down. Resulting in many arguments and security being called.
The entertainment made the holiday, a full program of day time activities for adults and children. The evening entertainment were different shows each night held in the amphitheatre within the complex. The animation team work very hard throughtout the day and put a lot of effort into the evening shows.
As we look forward to this holday for the best part of the year naturally we hope for sunshine, for the fortnight that we was there, there was more overcast days than sunny, and we were suprised as it rains most nights.
Its probably clear that i wouldnt visit this hotel again. If i did visit Morrocco i would be more inclined to visit Marrakesh (hope the spellings correct)

| said: When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with lots of smiles and free drinks in the lobby bar where we sat and filled in a registration card, by the time we got to reception there were only a few people in front of us. Check in was very quick and the porter took our luggage and showed us to our room.
The room was spotless but it didn't take us long to settle in and make it look like a bomb had hit it.
The maid came every day, it was so nice to come back from the pool to a clean tidy room.
We changed and went down for dinner and was greeted by the waiter who showed us to a table and then went and got us some drinks. He was very polite and helpful, he showed us around the buffet style area and left us to it.
The food was amazing, so much choice even if you are a picky eater.
He was there all week and it was nice to be greeted by the same waiter every mealtime.
After dinner we went to the pool where there was entertainment by the Animation guys. Traditional Berber dancing and a snake charmer.
On the Saturday we took a guided tour around Agadir. The Souk was quite scary but don't be put off it's excellent if you like a good haggle.
There are plenty of organised trips to go on and I recommend the 4x4 excursion.
If you fancy something a bit different to the buffet food then there are several themed restaurants on site which you have to reserve but it's well worth it the Moroccan resturant was excellent. Try the tea. Yum!
I must admit that we took full advantage of the all inclusive bars quite a bit but by the second round the barstaff knew our usual tipple and started pouring before we got to the bar.
We went to both of the onsite clubs during our stay and found that we preferred Solambo to the Techno bar but don't be put off they are both worth a try. These bars are not included in the price so take some cash.
All the hotel staff were polite and learnt our names very quickly which made us feel very settled. Even when walking anywhere on site if we passed a member of staff they would say hello and ask how we were.
The entertainment was excellent too. The Animation team do an amazing job organising sports tournaments and dancing with everyone.
They run a kids club and play games around the pool, theres "aqua gymnastics" and water volley ball and the whole team gets up at regular intervals to do dance routines, every one stops what they are doing and joins in.
There is a show everynight in the Amphitheatre at 9.30. we missed a few but the Transvestite show on the Wednesday night was well worth time away from the bar. I haven't laughed so much in ages.
The Animation team definateley made our holiday special.
I wonder if the bad reviews on this page were about the same hotel because I cannot think of any faults or complaints about our holiday.
We were both very sad to leave and completely agree that one week is not enough. hopefully we'll go back later in the year.

Please do not be put off by the remarks below, not sure where these people actually went. The staff could not do enough for us. Yes you can tip the pool man and yes he'll get you a decent sun bed. But 10 dirhams is nothing and to him it's a lot.
The waiters took care of us greeting us every night and asking how our day had been, the omelette man was fantastic.
We changed rooms when we arrived because we weren't happy with our view and this was no problem.
I would say that visitors should go out of the hotel there is so much to see and the beaches are beautiful, we did some trips and visited Marrachesh - not to be missed.
I would definately go back to this hotel and I can't praise it highly enough.

| said: My friend has been three times already and myself twice, were both 18 and up for fun! Although this hotel caters for the family groups they never leave anyone out and cater to all ages.
The food is fine if you are open to try new things, however there are familiar foods to the English. The staff is polite and there to answer any questions or to help with any problems which may occur.
For the times which i have been there nothing has ever gone wrong, there are a few close shops just outside the hotel which includes cash machines and a pharmacy.
The entertainment is directed towards the whole of the hotel and there is a new show each night, these include musical, comedy and a morocco night every Friday with camels, traditional dancing ect...
It’s a safe environment and I see no reason for anyone to complain about this resort.
For the ones which are interested in clubbing there is a small club within the hotel which plays a range of music and gives a chance to show your own and watch others dancing moves! Other clubs can be reached by a small taxi journey.
I'd say a holiday you won’t forget!!!!
It’s worth the cost so go and ENJOY!!

Again a fabulous week of eating and drinking Who could ask for more.
We met a great gang (Row, Sarah and Lizzie if your reading this) which made the holiday even more special.
Only problem was that the main disco was shut for refurbishment and the smaller disco the back of the hotel was a bit too small (Main disco was reopening on the night we flew home though).
Really good and will be going back on 23rd March next year.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone (you just have to remember that it is North Africa and that they are not as well developed in the All Inclusive section as some other destinations)
Staff great (a few even remembered us from last year).

'Boring!' hehe Everyone knows your name which is a nice personal touch to have.. shows the goog customer service they have!
Entertainment- theres always something for everyone to enjoy... or you can just laze around the pool alday if you wish... do not let the below reviews but you off!!
I am the most fussiest person when its comes to hygiene and food and I had no problems what so ever!
Building work is only operating on the beach as theres a new prom being built... didnt see or hear any building work at this hotel...
I would go back tomorrow!!

| said: The Caribbean Village ticked most of my boxes as a clean, cheap winter break within 3 hours flight and temperatures of about 26-30c in march. I enjoyed my stay. I might go back if the price is right.
There is refurbishment work at the hotel currently. This in no way affected my stay.
The hotel is a few minutes from shops and bars and about 15mins walk to main resort centre.
Though this hotel is only a three star, the all inclusive here, seems to be among the best I have used. There are six speciality restaurants. You could if you wish, have quality dining for most of your stay. The main restaurant though, has so much variety and the buffet was superb. The queue for drinks was minimal during the day or night.
We found every where to be clean and well kept. The food was cosmopolitan and varied during my stay. We always found some thing to eat. There is a microwave in the restaurant. If you do wish to heat your food up you are welcome. I had to use it, as I like my food very hot.
The hotel staff were always helpful and smiling especially if you tipped them in advance. The day time entertainment is focused on one of four pools. You had other quiet pools to disappear to if you are not sport or noise minded. I won the lazy tourist award during my stay.
The evening entertainment starts with kids stuff followed by performance in the stage like amphitheatre. Do not expect to find a sun bed after 8am. The towel rush starts about 7am.

Basic but clean, TV has itv1 and bbc1.
Entertainment was a bit cheesy but they tried.
The food was awful raw uncooked meat me and my mum was really ill couldn't wait to get home been to better 2*
Would never go back to this hotel again.

Food ok no one in our family suffered from ali belly! the pancakes with honey for breakfast are no good for your waistline!
Hotel situated about 5 minutes from beach. To get around you can go in the petit taxis which are orange and very cheap.
The staff cannot do enough for you and did not treat us any different from the French.
I would go back again definately.
The hotel is no longer owned by the Occidental chain, Ithink it is the Sahara Groupe hotels who actually own it now and are doing renovations as we speak.

The next day wee were quite surprised to see how big the complex was, food was alright not michelin star quality but plenty of choice.
The staff never stopped and we never hardly saw the kids they were off with the animation team or in one of the pools overall the holiday was great and we would go back I have stopped reading these reviews now because there always some one moaning about it.

The staff at this hotel were the best people I have ever met, they are just so friendly!
Entertainment was so funny and the animation team tried really hard to get you involved, I nearly got thrown in the pool by two fit blokes, but I struggled, so they put me down. That was fun.
I miss them all so much and girls, be warned they do take a shine to young blonde people, which personally I don't mind, I love all that attention.

| said: Having been led to this hotel by the travel shop & told that several of the staff had been there and enjoyed it. We decided to go. When we got to the Hotel my heart sank.
The reception staff were not helpful. We got to our room and could not believe the view. The roof of the main restraunt was a buliding site. To make it worse we discovered that, because it was 'Ramadan and work was being carried out into the early hours of the morning. Other building 'refurbishment' had closed, the main 'Oasis' restraunt, the gym, main disco and the Manderin Resteraunt was also effected. We spoke to our English rep who was far from helpful. However we spoke to the Moroccan Rep they emply and he moved us and asked us to officially raise a complaint. Which we did.
We went on the excursion to Merreckech, which was delightful altough it is a 4/5 hour coach trip. We arrived back to the Hotel at 09.25pm to be told that the food halls were closed and no provision had beem made for us to eat, but at 10.30pm we could have pizza. (Not good if you happen to be diabetic).
The main pool had tiles missing causing one young man to have to go to hospital and be on crutches for the remainder of his stay. Tennis courts were being resurfaced and the mini golf is in need of repair (only 15 playable and 18th has disappeared).
Food is basic although the ommlette man is very good.
This is not the first North African country we have visited and was disappointed by the so called local cuisine at the hotel. As for all inclusive. I have never had to pay for ice cream or crepes. Nor have I seen wrist bands taken off at 12.00noon and customers have to pay for drinks. Although a food voucher is given for those who required them.
I must, however, end on a congratulations to the majority of the staff, Animators work very hard and long hours. According to First Choices answer to my complaints. There is nothing wrong with this hotel!! I'll leave for you to decide.

| said: I was really looking forward to this holiday until I read the reviews. I went with an open mind but unfortunately most of the previous comment were right....it was awful!!!
We arrived and didn't have any problem checking in. We were taken to our room but it was on the ground floor and the doors were not that secure.
We asked the FC rep to be moved and it was not a problem. The rooms are basic but clean. The maid did a great job and deserved her 100 dirham at the end of the week. The hotel at full capacity is 1500 rooms, this causes a lots of problems in the dining hall.
The French are the most rudest people I have ever come across, a week was all I could put up with. The food was fine, the bookable restaurant were interesting!! Chinese, don't bother, Sushi was good if you like that kind of thing, we did. Moroccan was very good. Pizza...if you like fried egg and turkey....???
The staff were OK, reception were rude and their English not so hot, the last day was terrible, for 300 dirham (18 quid) keep your room on. The room they provide if you don't is a fully working sauna!!!
The animation team were the worst ever. Make sure you don't get involved with any of their stupid games, they don't pre-warn you that you will get soaked and ruin your £100 shoes!!! Apparently they know what us English are like!! Its only a dress and its a bit of fun....well I didn't find it funny!!
Also we tipped a guy in the dinner hall 20 dirham and he said it wasn't enough.....

| said: On arrival at Agadir airport, hold onto your luggage as the porters whip them off you pretty smart. Cost us £3 for them to take luggage to the bus 100 yards away. Many of us got had by this but got wise and held onto our luggage for dear life on return.
Reception at this hotel is bedlam on arrival. make sure you fill the appropriate forms out before getting in the queue. With hindsight now a suggestion would be go sit in the lobby bar, fill them out over a drink (which is provided) and then wait til everyone has gone before being allocated your room key.
Was told by first choice that interlocking rooms would be available at this hotel as we are a family of 2 adults and 4 children. They are not. Our rooms were 100yards apart but not a problem as we all bunked in the same room and was not cramped. The other room was left for suitcase storage. Our room was in the Agador part of the hotel and the party that we went with stayed in the Tamlelt section which were more modern. The rooms were kept clean by the maids and beds made nicely on a daily basis. We did have some extra guests (ants), but they don't bite so we put up with for a couple of days before they disappeared. I am sure if we had gone to reception they would have been evicted but we didn't mind so didn't see the point in complaining. It is customary to tip the maid 100 dirhams (approx £6) on a weekly basis. We didn't see our maid (Habiba) the day we come home so left the tip in our room as we thought she had earned it.
It is cutomary to tip porters 10 dirhams, bar staff 10 dirhams, waiters 15 dirhams and the maid 100 dirhams weekly.
Pools and pool areas weren't the cleanest that i have seen, but didn't stop us getting in as they weren't as dirty as people have made out. We seen them being cleaned on several occasions throughout our stay. Choice of 4 pools, 2 noisy, 1 reasonably quiet and 1 just for adults which our apartment was overlooking and the moroccan evening is held. Never had a problem getting a sunbed at any of the pools either.
Quite stressful getting food in the main area the 1st couple of days, soon got into a routine to overcome this though. Tipped waiter 20 dirhams (£1.25) on 2nd day and table was ready and waiting every time we used this restaurant. Plenty of choice and some things were labelled. If not labelled thats all you have to do is ask as there are chefs there speaking very good english and they will tell u exactly what u r eating. Did take food back on several occasions as undercooked, both at this restaurant and the snack bar. Raw omelletes, chicken and beefburgers. Were changed with apologies. The a-la-carte restaurants have set menus and these can be read on the menu board situated outside the Berber tent before booking. Couldn't fault the A-La-Carte restaurants, 1st class food with 1st class service. There are a coice of 6 a-la-carte restaurants. The Mandarin (chinese), the Medina (Moroccan), the sushi bar (japanese), the Pizzeria (Italian), the steak house and the fish house. The only one i wasn't fussed on was the sushi bar, but then i am not a keen lover of fish anyhow.
Food is also cheap enough to eat out as we did on 3 occasions. Quite a walk up to Macdonalds and the main strip of Agadir, 15-20 minutes. We discovered the little train that passes through, just stick your hand out and it will stop. It costs approx 16 dirhams for adults and 12 dirhams for children and can be used up until 11p.m.
Entertainment and especially animation team were absolutely fantastic, they worked really hard from morning til night. My 6 year old daughter loved memo and we got sick of hearing his name throughout the holiday. Didn't see much of my eldest daughter or my neice as they hung around with animation team throughout the day playing ping pong, basketball etc. Entertainment is in English, french and German, but wasn't a problem. I actually thought this was entertaining in itself. The Moroccan night on a Friday is not to be missed, it is out of this world and a great chance to experience the Moroccan culture.
Bar staff were very friendly and we personally didn't find that they prioritised the French or German. In fact the English were the majority. We were the only 2 families there from Wales. We did tip the bar staff a couple of dirhams and this might have helped though. Tip them well enough and you don't even have to go to the bar, the drinks will come to you. One of the bar staff actually bought my daughter a gift.
Private section on the beach for this hotel as not to get hassled by the touters. Beach is very long and clean. Chicken or cheese sandwhiches are provided from the hotel if booked from reception before 11a.m. We did get skanked on our first visit and thought the hotel had provided doughnuts for us. Cost us 30 dirhams for 4 doughnuts from the touter stood by the gate.
The weather was brilliant and even hit the 40's, but on average stayed in the 30's the whole duration of our holiday. The first bit of rain we seen was the day we were coming home and even this was just a little shower. We all got lovely tans.
I loved this holiday and this hotel and so did my children, they even cried when we left. My partner hated it. I can really understand why the reveiws are so mixed. It is either a place you will love or hate.

| said: I have just returned from the Occidental Caribbean Village (if thats its real name?) - and I'm sad to say, I'm very glad to be home!
I am bitterly disappointed with both the hotel and First Choice.
Hotel Cleanliness - In our room, I found okay - it was cleaned everyday and can say that I found no reason to fault the maid. Although, cleanliness in the other areas such as poolside and the buffet were definitely an issue.
Sunbeds were filthy, tables were sticky and pools were dirty.
Hotel Food - Totally outrageous and completely unacceptable! This was the area that had me raging every night! I am diabetic (and as you can imagine I have certain dietary requirements) . However the hotel neglects the fact that perhaps guests would like to know what they are actually eating. In my two week stay I seen very little food labelled (not to mention whether they contained nuts, dairy products, sugars etc )in the buffet restaurant. And was not told at all what would be served at any of the a la carte restaurants. So for the past 2 weeks I have ate nothing but salad, fruit and brown bread. - I have to say First Choice were told when booking the holiday of dietary requirements and assured me that these would be met. (ha!)
Service within most of the restaurants was okay - however I agree that most waiters etc did prefer the French.
I think in the buffet restaurant a better system regarding queueing for food desperately needs to be adopted. People were knocking into others, some were queue jumping and once you'd got your food, you had to battle for a table .
Location of the hotel was okay, although I don't think they should advertise "sea view balconies" when most balconies weren't what most holiday makers would regards as "sea views " .
Hotel Staff - I found the hotel staff slightly rude (in particular hotel waiters - who thought it would be funny to shout provocative comments at guests).
However the "animation team" cannot be faulted at all - I thought, as far as friendliness towards the guests and getting to know them (particularly Mimo and Ossamman) they were definitely 5*!!
Entertainment - Not really my thing, however again the animation team were excellent and put on some fun and professional shows including Aladdin and the Lion King!
Facilities - myself and my boyfriend were very much looking forward to using the gym facilities in the hotel. However we arrived to find that the gym had shut down along with a few other facilities (Oasis Restauran , Peoples bar and also the vegetarian Restaurant)- We were bitterly disappointed and annoyed that First Choice had not warned of this!
Hotel Maintenance - Ridiculous! On arrival and on the way to finding our room we seen a man who had cut his foot (quite badly) on some loose tiles at the bottom of the pool - that was our first day - when we left 2 weeks later the tiles still had not been fixed - and there were no warning signs around the area. (In which children were swimming around as well)
First Choice - again totally unacceptable. We could never get hold of any one of our three reps and resulted in calling the "help" line on the issue of the food labelling. Which did no good at all. When we did see a rep - she showed no interest what so ever and really didn't care, as she was off duty. Even though at the time I was distraught, crying and upset over the fact that I couldn't eat properly.
Other issues that come to mind are the fact that First Choice assured me (in writing) that there would be a fridge in the rooms (as anyone who has to take any kind of regular medication knows, keeping them stored correctly and at the right temperature is vital!) and that there was a doctor or medical facilities on site. There wasn't either of them - I had to result in keeping medication in a sink of cold water.
There are alot more issues I have with the hotel and have come back from my holiday feeling more tired and more stressed than I did going there.
I would advise anyones going there (and particularly anyone going with First Choice) to reconsider!

| said: Having never ventured as far as a family before we were a little unsure of what to expect. However the hotel was welcoming from the moment we stepped inside and were fantastic when we realised my dad had picked up the wrong suitcase at the airport!!
The staff were the most friendly people I have ever met and probably the most intelligent, most were not much older then myself (17) and they could all speak a variety of languages fluently. They were always helpful and a special mention must go the the first choice reps who gave us so much needed advice. You definitely need to speak to them before you go shopping!
The food was good, there was a lot more choice than I was expecting and I was pleased to be able to try real Moroccan dishes. The retaurants in the complex were ok however the chinese was definately the nicest and most varied. The omelettes in the morning were a highlight but beware they are so good there is always a long queue!
The entertainment was available butthe place lacks somewhere quiet to sit sometimes as the music is loud and over whelming. The staff work hard though and there is never a shortage of something to do.
We recommend doing some day trips as Morocco is so much more than you can see from the hotel, we are usually Spanish beach people but it definately opened our eyes to new experiences and places. I definately recommend Morocco and possibly the hotel but the country, people and culture make up for anything the hotel lacks...

| said: Was worried about staying here due to so many bad reports. On arrival my fears were confirmed. Reception was nothing but chaos, and staff appeared ignorant. When shown to our room I am sorry to say it got worse. You needed a step ladder to climb in the bath, tiles were dirty, toliet smelly. Sheets were never changed, the maid came in daily but was not up to much. For what we paid it was disappointing, I know you only sleep in the rooms but still its your holiday and expect cleanliness, instead we had a million ants move in with us and nothing was done.
Hotel grounds well kept and pools not bad. Did not have any real issues with the food, plenty of choice for all. Did not get unwell either!!
Staff were not bothered if you were British, unless you spoke French. Had to get up way to early for a sunbed which was a nightmare. Kids club was nothing special, the kids reps did not interact with my son and let him leave early without me collecting him.
If you have booked just make the most of your holiday the best you can, some people enjoyed this hotel so who knows!!

Party of 14
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel and unfortunately alot of the bad reports on this site are quite right. If you are considering booking this hotel for All Inclusive then I would seriously consider changing your location. If your looking for a good All Inclusive package then this is not the hotel for you.
Some of the reports state that its good for a cheap break, well I don't consider £3000 a cheap holiday for 2 adults and 2 children.
Rooms: unfortunately we had 2 of the older rooms which were very very basic, they could do with a complete makeover. The bathrooms were very poor, but hey you don't spend too much time in your room so we lived with it. The maid was lovely and very friendly. The towels were changed every day, but when we returned to our rooms around 4.30-5pm to have a shower and get changed for the evening we were often left with not a single towel, as they were being laundered (think they only had 1 set).
Food: The food in the main restaurant Oasis I thought was very good and I enjoyed eating in there, but yes I do agree that the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The staff in this restaurant were all extremely helpful and they cant do enough for you (maybe thats because all the women in our party are blonde!!). We tried to book up the Al a carte restaurants but only managed to get sittings for 2 nights as you could only book 1 at a time. We gave up on the rest!
Snacks: Wot snacks?! There is a snack bar but you have to sit at a table and wait to be served (you could be waiting over an hour to get your food) and if the children went in on their own they could be waiting even longer, as they served the children last! You can get pizza at 10pm from the pool bar, but again you have to sit and wait to be served, then they throw a plastic plate at you with the smallest piece of pizza you ever saw, if you want anymore you have to order again. Ice Cream: the ice cream is beautiful but you have to pay for it.
Drinks: this was the biggest joke of all, the childrens drinks are given in vending machine cups (which are very small) they are only allowed 1 drink each which is half drink and half fizz, when they walk away they only have half a cup, this is ridiculous in that heat, they should be allowed more or in bigger cups. The alcoholic drinks are all served in plastic Ikea beakers with pictures of teddy bears on them, which is ok around the pool but not in the evening! (if you are French you are automatically given a glass!!)
Bars: There are 6 bars in this hotel so you would think thats great for the 2000 guests that were there in August, but no, the only bar that was open was the one where the entertainment was taking place, and if you didn't want to watch that and just sit quietly outside you had a major walk to get a drink or a mile in the other direction from the lobby bar (but again only allowed 2 drinks each which was a nightmare, when there was 14 in our party - so effectively 7 of you had to go to the bar and the queues were horrendous!) The lobby bar was always open and the cocktail bar too, but they were at the other end of the complex and u had to sit inside with no aircon, they had fans but never used them, but if you wanted to sit outside, there were about 5 tables. In the brochure and the paperwork you are given when you arrive states that the bars open at 10pm and closes at 12pm but they don't open till 10.30am and they close at 11sharp.
Sunbeds: reports I read before we went said that u had to be up for 5.30, this is untrue, I came down every morning between 6-630 and could get a bed anywhere I wanted, and this was the case until around 7.00 but by then you had to just take what was left, anytime after 730 then the beds were all gone, but there are plenty of mattresses to lie on. People have said that if you tip the pool man then he will save your beds for you, this is true but he doesn't start work until 6ish so if you want specific beds then you have to get them yourself.
All Inclusive: I would like to say that this hotel has the potential to be extremely successful as the grounds and they way the hotel is laid out is good because you feel like your in a village - hence the name, but they certainly have to sort out the All Inclusive basis, as this hotel is scrimping every where you turn, it certainly wasn't a value for money holiday, myself, my family and friends have eaten less and drank less (soft drinksIi might add) than in any other All Inclusive hotel, and we have been to quite a few!
Illness! Out of the 14 in our party 14 of us were very ill - either with sickness and diarrhoea or flu like symptoms or both, and so were alot of other people - the doctor was being called out for fun.
Wrist Bands: Children's bands are alot thinner than the adults and if they lose them you have to pay 200dh - £15approx to have it replaced - if you take a broken one back you have to pay 10dh - 40p so make sure u keep an eye on them. On the last day your band is cut off at 12noon irrespective of what time you arrive - (in our case 930pm) you are given a voucher to have a meal and a drink, but any further drinks you have to purchase tickets from reception (diabolical - as we all pay for 14 days All inclusive Not 13) you are not informed of this in anyway until you check out.
All in all we had a great holiday - we just made the most of it - we enjoyed the sun, the pool, the company. But if asked would I return to this hotel again? no, not until they sort the AI out as I feel we were well and truly ripped off!
I hate to write these bad reports because as I say we had a great time, but I feel people need to be made aware of these things and maybe it will stop people from booking, which will in turn make the tour operators get their fingers out and do something about the way their customers are being ripped off!
Also Panorama need to sort out their Rep because he was neither use nor ornament, all he was interested in was selling his excursions. And beware, when you leave he asks you to fill in a questionnaire about the hotel - he refused to give us our exit cards to get out of the country until we had filled these in which is completely unacceptable. People need to complain to their tour operator about this hotel and then maybe something will be done about the way we are being treated.
One more thing that concerns me is the fact that this hotel is advertised in the brochures and by the hotel itself that they are a part of the Occidental Group - I'm quite suspicious of this as the Occidental Allegro Agador/Occidental Caribbean Village is not listed on the Occidental website as one of their hotels - Why is this?!!
If you have already booked - try and change your booking. If you are thinking of booking - then don't!!
If you have already been - then don't just moan about it - make sure you complain in writing to whoever will listen because everyone in our party certainly will.

We had an invasion of ants in our room and after countless complains this was never dealt with. The sheets were never changed. I know this as my son had an accident whilst there and the blood from his hand was still on the sheets 2 weeks later.
All our party had violent bouts of sickness and diarrhoea which had called for a doctor to visit. We noticed that this doctor was going in one room and going straight into the next whilst we were there!
Be careful of the all inclusive wrist band which are given to your children as these are really flimsy! If they break then you have to pay for them. My son lost his on the last night. We were told that we wasn't allowed to leave the complex to come home if we didn't pay for it. Even though they put it on and cut it straight back off.
I agree with other reports that unless you are French your treatment is poor.
Unless you are prepared to pay the pool man!! or get up at 4am you have no chance of getting a sunbed! We managed to get a bed once during our 2 week stay and that was at 2pm when some one left the pool early because of sickness.
Sorry I have had to write this about this resort but it is what I feel should be known

Location quite good, gardens well kept but hotel struggles to cope with 1600 guests. Runs out of cutlery, crockery etc and these are often dirty when they arrive.
Our son was ill with violent sickness/diarrhoea requiring a doctor in the night. Prescribed medication for amoebic dysentery and bacillary dysentery and was in bed for 3 days.
Bed linen, towels did not look or smell fresh at all during our stay. Also had cockroaches visiting our room.
Some of the bar staff serve you when they feel like it.
Sports facilities good although our son was too ill to play squash or tennis at all in the second week.
Plenty of day time entertainment if Butlins style is your thing.
Hotel food in the buffet was repetitive. We enjoy Moroccan food but tagine every day became boring. Salad looked good but many flies and the only refrigeration we could see was ice underneath the containers which soon melted. Waiters on the whole very friendly with the exception of two very rude waiters who only seemed to want to
serve the French. The floor or doors in here never appeared to be clean. Tables cleaned with what looked like a dirty damp cloth which smeared the food debris into the table.
Evening entertainment poor as is the hunt to find which of the bars is actually open that night.
The themed restaurants were quite good particularly the Moroccan but you have to queue up and book them up at least 4 days in advance. Alright as long as you don't then become ill.
Moroccan evening at the hotel good although half way through you have to sit through various presentations of certificates for competitions won that day. Quite expected to hear Ruth Madoc shout Hi Di Hi at any moment.

| said: We stayed at the Occidental Caribbean village Agadir, there were three adults and one teenager in our group.
On arrival we were shown our room which was on the top floor in one of the newer blocks. After climbing the 54 steps to our room(no lift!!) we were impressed to find that there were two separate bedrooms, a small balcony and a huge one that overlooked the complex and had a sea view.
We later found out that these blocks constantly struggled for water as the pressure was very low. In fact the first week we had no water at all from 11pm at night until 7.30am and several of these days it was hit and miss as to whether we had water during the day. We had to save and fill up the water bottles when the water was on so that we could flush the toilet!!!
I had a very bad stomach for 10 of our 14 days and as you can imagine it wasn't very nice when we couldn't flush the toilet. The poor maid (who was lovely) had to carry buckets of water up the stairs when she cleaned the rooms, which incidentally were spotless, yes we did have a few ants but they weren't a problem.
Every evening we had to go to the reception for two 1 litre bottles of water that was all you got between four people. In fact we found it quite strange that you could drink as much alcohol and soft drinks as you wanted during the day but not water. There were water dispensers around the complex but me always found that the water tasted very chalky and upset our stomachs even more.
The lobby bar closed at 11PM sharp and if you were in the queue and the clock got to 11 then tough you didn't get a drink.
The waiters were lovely in the Oasis restaurant and couldn't do enough for us.
The food was ok we always found something to eat but I always dug to the bottom of the serving dishes as there were flies all over the food. Also a few times there were sparrows on the bread table. Only twice did we notice there was ice cream FREE. If you wanted an ice cream you had to buy them.
Some of the bar staff were friendly; some it took all of their time to smile at you.
All in all we had an ok holiday and would go back to Agadir but wouldn't go back to this complex.
We do not like complaining and most of it we could cope with just not the water problem.

| said: We have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. The food was fine although a bit repetitive any yes 3 out of the 4 of us had a tummy upset but we put this down to the way the food is cooked. Our room was basic and our cleaner was very nice and appeared to do her job.The entertainment team worked hard but the acts were not up to much, we went along to some of the shows for a laugh..
Most of the bar staff were friendly and for the 1st week was impressed at how they knew who was next in the queue although this was not the case for the latter half of the second week when the French were getting served as soon as they got to the bar and funnily enough were allowed more than 2 drinks unlike us.
I think we were lucky when we went but would certainly not like to go any later than mid July our first 10 days were fine but the complex then got too busy if you timed it wrong you struggled for a table in the restaurants and I nearly got pushed over in the rush for the last bowl at breakfast and was fed up at being pushed around and being banged into.
We were also lucky with the sun beds as our youngest gets up at 0700 he was our sunbed man but if not for him we wouldnt of got one, although I did see some beds not used and a family told the pool man no one had been there for 3 hours and he removed the towels, much to the families annoyance on their return from shopping..
I agree with Nicola about Del Boy what a pain !!!

| said: We have just spent the last 2 weeks in this hotel. If it had not been for the local McDonald's and Pizza Hut my 3 children would have eaten nothing other than bread and butter for the duration of the holiday.
The hotels food is without doubt the worst I have ever experienced due to their being no children's menu with the exception of boiled to death spaghetti with red water(never bolognese in all this world) sauce.
The chips were so hard you could not use a fork on them.
The food was geared towards the majority, those being the French, Germans and Belgians who from what I witnessed are happy to eat like pigs.
Our family are not people who do not like to try different foods but the choice was very strange making it difficult to put a meal together. For example sliced beef with garlic spaghetti (no suitable sauce)!!.
There are a-la-carte restaurants but you have to book them in advance and the menu quoted when booking is not the same as the one you get. (Chilli con carne especially).
One point of note is that ice creams are not free even though the accommodation is all inclusive and at almost 80p per time the cost builds up.
While we were all there we consumed 36 Imodium and 20 anti bacteria tablets because of our regular daily illness of upset stomachs and occasional sickness.
The illness was not necessarily due to the food because while we were there we did not see the pools cleaned and it was noted that the pool we went in had a ring of algae underneath the rim.
The children's entertainment is again focused on the majority and young children would not be able to understand what was going on due to the different languages being spoken all the time when explaining what they were doing. It was bad enough taking part in the music quiz in all the languages although we did win on both of the weeks much to the larger than life quiz masters annoyance. Strangely the prize was a bottle of Moroccan wine not that we couldn't get it for free and all that.
The beach area is set across a road in between the sand and a piece of barren waste land and would be suitable if you wanted to sit fenced in to protect you from the hoards of Moroccans who are like a plague of locusts on the miles of beach.
One major annoyance about the outside of the hotel is the continual barrage of people trying to get you to hire quads, jet skis and camels.
The staff are very friendly but over step the mark by touching the girls which we found offensive.
The busiest shop by far is the local pharmacy even the hotel concierge was on first name terms collecting his daily list of items for the sick and lame.
I could go on and on but in summary if you want to spend time felling that everything is geared to a minority, with an upset stomach where you can lose pounds in weight and money by having little choice of balanced edible food, sitting on a beach being distracted by 1000's of Moroccans or having plenty of choice for quads and jet skis this is the place for you.
Sadly it was an awful experience for us.

| said: Did we stay in the same hotel as the other people who have written review??!
The hotel itself looked great but they obviously couldn't cater for the capacity of guests. Not only did they run out of sunbeds but cups & glasses (people having to drink from plastic cups for tea, coffee, pop, beer and wine when they ran out daily).
Parents encouraging their teenagers to go to the local disco - then the teenagers skinny dipping in the pools at 3am doesn't help either - especially when the main bar shuts at 11am & the lights are turned out forcing people to go to their rooms!
The food was awful and after a few days you lose your appetite totally - either because of the stomach upset you have or the fact that the food is tasteless. Most people who we spoke to had a member of their party who had a stomach upset at some point.
Recommended not to hire a car by the rep & also felt intimidated on the beach or walking around the streets meant we felt we had to stay in the hotel grounds as much as possible.
The trips on offer by the tour operator were overpriced and most people couldn't afford them or simply saved the money to pay for eating out.
The charges for the massage, ice creams, crisps/sweets & arcade machines were a rip off and when the children tried to get change the staff weren't interested so adults had to ask for change (not talking young children here who couldn't communicate but 15 & 17 year olds)!
Although there were lots of British people there the entertainment staff were mainly French & couldn't (or didn't want) to commicate very well with the English speaking.
The staff were very nice IF you tipped them or had a young female in your party (we tested this out on numerous occasions by asking another couple with young girls to join us for meals as we had teenage boys in our party).
We dined out quite a bit and McDonalds was very busy with alot of the hotel guests. The best meal to be had was on the flight home!
I wouldn't recommend this hotel or resort to anyone & the reps just smiled to pacify you when you complain. We even spoke about a reconstruction for Holidays from Hell but I don't think you'd get anyone back!
However, we met lots of nice people who helped to keep each others spirits up & we will all probably keep in touch via this website!

| said: 31 of us stayed at this hotel on an AI basis. Our rooms were very clean and freshly painted. We had 4 proper beds, separate shower room and toilet and bidet in another which was great if someone needed the loo whilst somebody in the shower. The maid came in everyday, towels changed daily and linen every other day. There was no air con in the rooms but the temps did drop at night and we found it quite cool and comfortable enough to sleep.
The hotel was spotlessly clean. They are always about all day cleaning and the gardeners are always gardening and cutting and pruning the bushes. They wash everything down in the mornings and there was no litter about the place. All the gardens are very well kept and the swimming pools and surrounding areas are all spotlessly clean.
The waiters are about all day collecting the empty cups and plastic glasses from around the pools and bars. The only downside was having to get up at around 4oclock to get your sunbeds by one of the 4 pools. Leave it any later than 6ish and you have no chance of getting one. There are lots of mattresses though that can be put on the grass areas surrounding the pools for extra places to lie. We were lucky enough to have the same spot for 12 days, so we were very happy.
Food was fine, but it must be very hard for them to cater for so many different nationalities and tastes. I am a very fussy eater and suffer with stomach problems but found there was always something to eat for everyone.
Breakfasts were good. Omelettes with a choice of fillings, boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. Sausages, beans, breads, cheeses, pates and meats, toast and jam, pancakes, croissants and doughnuts, fruit and yoghurts etc and fruit juice, tea and coffee.
Dinner time was good also with lots of choices, pasta, pizza, chips, soup, breads, cold meats, stews, rice, meat and veg, salads, cakes, pastries, fruit and ice cream etc. We used the snack bar some dinner times which was good also. Opened 1 - 4pm. This was find a table and be waited on. This served hot toasted sandwhiches, chips and salads, burgers, hot dogs and sandwhiches all chosen from the menu. You choose a drink and the waiters fill it up every time they see it empty.
Tea time was pretty much the same as dinner time, but all good and always something to eat for everyone.
The snack bar was open again on an evening from 10pm until 1pm, serving pizzas, round flat garlic breads and ice cream. The kids thought this was great.
The hotel was situated about a 10 minute walk away from the beach which was lovely and clean and the sea very warm. The hotel has its own private part with sunbeds on and a beach bar serving soft drinks only. It has alot of shops, bars and restaurants outside along the main drag which is quite an enjoyable walk in the evenings when it is abit cooler.
Hotel staff were very helpful and very friendly. If you had a problem then they would try and sort it straight away for you. Could not do enough for you.
Entertainment team were great. A lovely bunch of friendly people who work very hard from 9am until midnight. They do everything from water aerobics, dances, all the activities all through the day and do all the shows on an evening and then onto the disco.
They dont stop and always have time for you to stop and chat and try to help you if you have a problem. I dont know how they keep going and always keep a smile on their faces. The night entertainment was excellent. Live shows everynight in the ampitheatre. Lion king, Grease, Castle of Dreams, Aladdin, comedy sketches, Atlantis which was good and done in and around the pool.
Beach parties on the beach with fire blowing and games and disco, Karaoke, discos, moroccan night with acrobats, snake charmers and different dancers. We thought the entertainment was great and done all by the animation team, which i think helped to make it so enjoyable.
Would I visit this hotel again? Yes I would definately go back here, absolutely loved it, never wanted to come home. The girls have already said they want to go back next year. The weather was a bit cloudy the first week with a few spots of rain which was desert rain and very dirty and stained your clothes and towels but still hot and had to go careful as still caught the sun even with the cloud around, but the second week it was baking hot 40's and some days unbearably hot to sit in. The sand on the beach was too hot to walk on in bare feet so had to walk along the beach in the water.
I would recommend this hotel especially if you have kids as there is so much to do. We all loved it very much.

| said: On arrival the room I was given was disgusting and the wrong room after being offered another 2 rooms I finally took the 3rd room as my 5 month old baby was hungry and tired it was on the top floor with no lift.
The holiday got no better due to the fact that they had a major water burst outside the hotel which went on for the whole week we constantly had to complain we all ended up sick apart from the baby due to having he own food. ( 1 hr aday of water if we were lucky.)
Food was okay just with having a upset stomach we couldn't eat or drink really.
Hotel staff seemed to give priority to French/German guests.
Waiters in restaurants brilliant one of the waites even bought my baby a ring as a gift to say goodbye.
