These apartments had a great location - 2 min walk to the front of the strip in Puerto del Carmen...The complex only has 17 apartments so was very small - this can work to advantage as you get to know the people in the apartments & would certainly be aware if there was anyone there who wasnt supposed to be. The gate into the complex had a keycode only available to people staying there so this was an added security.

When we arrived I was surprised with the size of the studio apartment - there was plenty of room for myself & my friend to move around - we had a TV & a little kitchenette - we were also provided with lots of wardrobe & drawer space.

However I was highly disappointed with the pool - it was literally the smallest pool I have ever come across & I have been going abroad every year since I was 4 !! It would definetly be considered a pool to dip into, not swim & its certainly not a pool for children !! Its hard to explain how small it is - put it this way, if you drove a car into the pool there wouldnt be anymore room for anything else & that is no exageration !!

The only other problem we encountered was a few problems due to the fact that the reception is only manned from 9am - 1pm everyday. This means you have very limited access to talk to the rep. It also means there was a few nights of people jumping in the pool at 3am (lets face it this happens most holidays) - the problem was they would still be there an hour later & it would be up to the people in the surrounding apartments to ask them to go back into their apartments - this is all fine until you get someone who gets irate !! I feel if the reception was open at night it would be a much better resort.

However the apartments were clean & all had balconies. Its grand if you want a cheap & small place in a good location but if you want a swim & peace & quiet at some hour of the morning then maybe not - bring ear plugs !!!
