We stayed here on a B&B basis, never tried the food though as we prefer to eat out. The hotel is in a great location just a short walk to the beach. Room boys are really friendly and do a good job. The hotel corridors etc., could do with a lick of paint, but overall it was adequate for our stay - bed, toilet and shower. I don't go on holiday to stay in my room.

My husband and myself stated at this hotel in February 2007 for 3 weeks.

The first room we were allocated was on
B Block and for the money we paid £1500.00 it was applalling. We changed rooms the next day, still not up to scratch but passable.

The hotel could do with a very good clean, sheets and towels were not the best. The room service guys were very friendly which was a good job as the management were very surley and not bothered. T

he restaraunt was terrible only ate their once and that was before the chef came in his cooking clothes to mend our toilet, that had fallen off the wall.

The waiters were all very slow one night we waited 42 mins for 2 cocktails, if we had been at home 15 mins and we would have walked but it was Goa.

At breakfast it was a standard joke between guests as to which we would get tea, toast, or juice as you never got all 3 as they forgot.

We have been to Goa 8 times and decided to pay that bit extra for a better stay but it wasn't to be.

This is a very basic hotel. Although it has direct access to Candolim beach, most rooms do not have seaviews. Access to the hotel is through an unlit alleyway.

The hotel is kept relatively clean but the restaurant had very poor hygiene. Table cloths and cutlery were dirty and food plates contained tiny flies. We were glad that we had not taken full board. There were lot of other places to eat.

The hotel suffered from continuing power cuts and their generator could not cope with running hot water and a.c. Therefore we did not have hot water or a.c. at crucial times (morning and evening).

We will not use this hotel again.

Set just back from the beach, less than 2 minutes walk. Not many brits as we were there just before the charters started - phew! Can imagine it very different in peak season.

Room was huge overlooking pool, sitting area with day bed for our daughter, dining table with chairs, tv tc. Big balcony overlooking pool. Main bedroom with en-suite & air-con. Everything very comfortable. Room cleaned daily by our mate Sid. Each day we came back to different shape made from our towels & bottle lids, eg fish, octopus etc - 8 yr old had to be 1st in room to see what design today.

Pool small but just right for a cool down after day out or on beach. Plenty of sunbeds for the amount of guests when we were there. Bar & restaurant next to pool. Staff friendly & helpful, bar staff Sailesh, Santosh & Tony - couldn't do enough for you. We ate out most of the time but 1 day when the heavens opened we ate there and food reasonable but over-priced.

Preferred Bar Successo on the main road. Hotel 2 minutes walk to main road, plenty of bars and restaurants.

Would definitely visit this hotel again. Perfect for families, couples, singles alike.

We stayed at the 2 * Casablanca at the beginning of 2005.
The staff were very friendly espcially the bar staff who all wanted to know our names. The reception staff were a bit grumpy maybe this was because they actually slept in the reception!

Our hotel room was cleaned everyday (which to be honest in Goa this has to be done as there is red sand/dust everywhere!)

We did have a slight problem with the shower that was giving out electric shocks. We reported this to the reception who sent an electrician to have a look - I think they thought we were making it up. We were moved to another room.

The location of the hotel is very good and is just of the highstreet in Candolim so you don't hear the horns tooting so much and it is about a 5 minute walk down to the beach where you can gawp at the huge ship that run a ground years ago on the beach.

The hotel has a security guard who patrols at night which makes you feel very safe. The staff were very helpful in arranging various trips for us.

We would not visit this hotel again.
