| said: Nice, clean hotel, with friendly staff and a delicious menu.
Towels were changed every day, and the staff were more than happy with any extra requirements we had with our youngest (extra towels, sheets, non-spicy food requests! etc)
All in all a wonderful place to stay, would definitly recommend it to others.

| said: My husband and myself stayed just one night at the Silla Hotel which is best described as a dump! Paint peeling from the doors, chipped cups, soiled bed linen & towels, showers that don't work. Absolutely disgusting, we just checked out in 1 night and stayed at another property close by which was equally priced but decent & at least clean.
Please don't stay at this hotel if you are planning a holiday with your family or looking for a relaxed vacation as it is really pathetic. It is not even a hotel more like a cheap motel.

| said: Pleasantly surprised by larger than expected accomodations with sitting area room with TV, bedroom, small room with desk and fridge. Had air conditioing and ceiling fans. The power goes out everyday it seems but only for a few minutes. Room was on the third floor overlooking the restaurant in the center of the hotel. No elevator though although this was not a big problem.
Rate included breakfast with usual toast or Indian food (eggs included but other things extra). Only ate dinner at hotel two times which was a little more expensive than outside.
Seems like a little silly policy of not allowing food or drink from outside the hotel. Not sure if other hotels do this also. But the prices of beverages (water, soda) at the hotel was not much different than outside and so not a big issue.
Hotel was close to the main road leading to the beach and so is in a good location.
We booked in advance airport transfers in each direction and hotel had someone there at airport to pick us up and take us back on departure.

| said: Nice big , clean rooms, en-suite bedroom, plenty of storage, with a balcony off the bedroom. A large living room, with TV and a small dressing room off that with a fridge (nice touch, and very handy)
We had half board, breakfast was toast and eggs, all other items were available but chargeable, (cheap). The free dinner was with a voucher, You could either choose from the India buffet, or with the voucher pick something of the large menu and have 300 Rs off the bill. We did the later most night, and paid less than a pound extra. Food and restaurant were good, but became a little bored with it after two weeks. And food outside the hotel isn't exactly expensive.
Pool and gardens were lovely, we saw quite a few others and we had the best in the area.
Staff were great, very friendly and more than helpful.
Silla is a 2 minute walk to the centre of Calangute, 5 mins to the beach. But very quiet, I think they must have got rid of the packs of dogs.
The entertainment nights (Monday BBQ, Fri Tandoori) were great food, out by the pool, but awful loud music.
All in all a nice spot to stay, good security, Inc safety deposit boxes and 24hr security guard. Clean and friendly.

| said: We had been moved from somewhere else due to a problem with that hotel, so we had not intended going there!
The hotel was very clean and the staff were exceptional and would do anything to help (like most of the Goans) however the Owners were British and could be slightly off hand if comments were made.
The Breakfasts were very good however the BBQ night was a real let down as the food turned up very late and all but one dish was cold! After that meal we did not eat there, however the location meant that within minutes you could walk to very good restaurants.
We would go back, however having been to Goa 4 times already I think its time for a change!
