| said: Only booked here as it has an indoor pool and with it being a family hotel we thought our 9 yr old would make friends. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good it was cold and rainy.
There were more Spanish here than English but I think that is because it is only Feb.
The hotel, I should imagine would be wonderful in the sun it is Flintstones themed and looks fresh and new.
The breakfast choice was excellent with lovely clean chefs and things being cooked fresh in front of you [pancakes, eggs etc] We wish we had gone half board as no where was open around us and we had to work hard to find some where to eat. Warning if you go early season go half board! I bought cooked chicken and did jacket potatoes 2 nights.
Apartments were small but not too bad for 3 of us and they have heating or air conditioning which was excellent with the bad weather.[No kettle though]
Torremolinos itself is a good shopping area, about 20 mins away if you walk up the front down a little side street you can get a lift near the English pub, called the White Lion or something Lion anyway?
The lift takes you up to the town centre for 50c and then you don't have to walk up the steep hill.
I like Torremolinos it is clean has a nice beach front and am returning shortly.

| said: Just had 2 weeks in these apartments and I am well impressed.
The apartments are in two blocks, (L shaped) each 4 floors high, and all balconies face onto the gardens and pool area….some get sun in the morning and others all afternoon.
The 1-bedroom apartments are clean, compact and quite adequate for 2 people and maybe 1 child…more than that and I think you will be crowded, although there are 2 sofa beds in the living room, for maximum occupancy.
The bedroom/living room is sectioned off by sliding doors and when left open, this gives an “open plan” and spacious illusion to the place.
The maid comes in everyday except Sundays, to empty the bins, make the beds, clean the bathroom and mop the floors….towels that are placed either in the bath or on the floor will be changed daily, and bed linen was changed twice a week.
What lets these apartments down, is the kitchen in the cupboard, which consists of a sink and 2 ring electric hobs, however, there is a clean modern microwave on the shelf above the sink and a toaster in the cupboard. There are plenty of clean crockery, pans and utensils and a full sized fridge…. It just lacks a work surface to prepare the food, although apart from cooking bacon in the microwave and having some toast and marmalade in the mornings, we did no other cooking and it was as cheap to eat out.
There are no kettles …so take a travel kettle with you….and there was always a constant supply of hot water.
These apartments being within the hotels gardens, enable guests able to use all the facilities of the Sol Principe, they are ideal for people who want the facilities, but the freedom from the hotel meal times.
There are 3 pools, 2 outdoor and a heated indoor one….the pool in view from the apartments is a large pool with a separate children’s pool, and the pool on the front of the hotel, set amongst the grass sunbathing area tended to be used by people who wanted to get away from children.!
There is crazy golf, tennis courts, baseball, table tennis and a huge play area based on the “Flintstones” to keep the kiddies amused…in fact this complex is a smart set up….the kiddies are well catered for, and the adults can choose to move to a quieter area in the gardens, should they wish…..sunbeds/parasols are free and were plentiful when we were there.
On site there are shops which include a hairdresser, medical centre, sports shop, jewellery shops, clothes/handbags and a shop that sold papers /cosmetics and plenty of computers to access the internet…. There is also a supermarket, but I found this to be expensive and not very well stocked, however, outside across the road was a “sol” supermarket.
The hotel itself is a very nice hotel, a well-furnished reception area and very helpful staff, straight across the road from the beach.
Torremolinos town centre was 4 euros in a taxi, or a good half hours walk UPHILL.
Finally, ….there are safes in the apartments, these are the electronic digital type…cost for 2 weeks was 20 euros.50 centimos…with 3 euros returned on handing back the “key” on checking out.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

| said: My parents and my husband and baby stayed in this apartment for our first holiday with baby.
Pool was great, inside heated and outside cold pools. My only disappointment was the apartment small and kitchen is really a cupboard, we had to make bottles from saucepan, I did ask for kettle even to buy but reception could not provide this service. Food was find, and location was first class.
I found this apartment far to small, this was a one bedroom apartment and I was told that they do not do two bedroom, pity as services were good and right on beach. By the time, buggy, cot and high chair in apartment not enough room.

| said: We have just returned from our holiday and had a brilliant time. There are lots of activities for children and adults. Kids club and sports in the day and shows in the evening. Once a week they do a show which the children can participate if they wish. The entertainment staff obviously love their job and are very devoted. The beach is only over a quietish road, but their aren't too many shops on its doorstep. The only downsides were the tiny kitchen area in the room, no work space at all, clever design though as it all hides away in a cupboard and the fact that the sunbeds start to get reserved at about 7.30 in the morning!
