Stayed in 2 bed apartment for 1 week with 3 children, aged 3, 5 & 6.

ON arrival, the apartment was quite clean, not spotless. A complimentary bottle of white wine was left on the table, this was poured down the sink, and I would normally drink any half decent type of white wine, nothing too expensive, but this was awful.

There wasn't a brush or mop left in the apartment so you had to depend on the cleaners for all of this. Obviously with small children, a dust pan or brush is a basic essential with the constant crumbs on the floor from snacks etc. One day my little girl got sick on the kitchen floor, and trying to clean it was an ordeal without a mop or cloth or anything.

The bathrooms were very off putting. There were two. There was a walk in shower in one of them and this was very old and grubby. There was a terrible smell from the bathroom during our 1 week stay, even though cleaners were there most days, the daily cleaning was very poor. The towels were a horrible dark brown and very old.

The grounds of the hotel were kept well, it is laid out nicely.

The location of the hotel is great, a 5 min. walk or so into the port in the old town where there are many nice restaurants.

We ate once in the pool side bar, and were not impressed.

I would not visit this hotel again, mainly because of the cleanliness in the rooms.

I can not understand why this is rated 3 * + in the Sun World Brochure, I would hardly put it under a 3* having gone on package sun holidays for many many years.

We stayed in the Apartments over looking the pool. They were very clean, and spacious. The bathroom was very big, with two sinks. On arrival they gave us a bottle of wine. The balcony was very big with two sun loungers, but they get very hot as they are plastic.
Loads of space for clothes, they also have a choose your own pillow policy so you can ask for what ever type of pillow you like, we thougth this was strange, but someone might love the idea?

The apartments were not noisy at all even though we were near the Biosfera The cleaning staff were very nice and came in every day. They would change your towels every day if you wished.

The pool is very big, loads of beds etc. The only thing is the pool is very deep and badly marked for the depth. I can swim very well but you would still need to be careful. There is a kiddies pool too. The bar/food area is great the food is very good.

The apartments are straight accross the road from the Biosfera Shopping Centre, which has lots of clothes shops, Spar, bars, juice bar etc. The old town is just 5 min walk. It is beautiful at night to go to the old town/harbour area and sit out and have dinner. At lunch time you can do the same and just watch the world go by, with a few glasses of wine or cocktails.
