| said: these rooms actually have a toaster which i have not had before in either turkey or greece a great plus to the room. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the maids were brilliant they even put my daughters bed in room with aircon unit for us. Breakfasts were really good but we didn't have an evening meal and like to try different restaurants. hotel staff were really good and helpful. The entertainment was a bit lacking but we went into icmeler each evening so this did not bother us and would have a drink by poolside when we returned, and meant there was no problem with being kept awake at night. We are definately going again in july for two weeks so would definately recomend this hotel if you want a quieter location.

| said: What can i say!!! A great holiday...
The apartents themselves are absolutely spotless, and for once the aircon wasn't on a stupid timer and worked almost too well ( kept waking up freezing to death).... The facilities were the usual you would expect a 2 ring hob, fridge with small freezer compartment but the godsend was the toaster.
Lets face it all most people ever use is the fridge to keep drinks cold. But like i said the toaster was quality lol as usually you have to hire these if they are available at all and i like a bit of jam in the morning lol
we were on the top floor facing the mountain/road. As the road only leads to greenworld and the julian forest next door there is very little noise. The balconies on the top do have a slighlty higher wall though than the others, but the missus who is 5'2 could see over it easily enough so not too restrictive. The security for the hotel is good too....cameras everywhere....just like home,,,,unfortunately and a securuity guard who my kids nicknamed the terminator after jumping in the pool one night "get ooouuuut", "chlorine......Shower" while he points at the poolside shower.
The pool area was fantastic and the best i saw while i was there and the 2 jacuzzi's were perfect for colling down after a hard day doing nothing in the heat lol. The main pool however is not suitable for small children if they dont swim. it was about 5ft deep for the whole of it though this i thought in general was quite a good idea.
there is a small kids pool and a play area. There are also several other facilities on site. An internet cafe with ps2's as well 5tyl/£2 per hour. a hairdressers which also do turkish shaves, i had my head and fae shaved for £7 and it is fantastic, just wish they did it here. A tatooist and the shop.
There is also a gym(free) for the mad amongst you, as well as a turkish bath and complimentary therapist on site which was reasonably priced
BEWARE....the card system though we didn't have a problem with it they do allow ANYONE form your party to sign..one couple we were with their 5 yearold duaghter was extremely poplular as she used to emerge from the shop arms laden with pop and ice creams etc... and hand them out to all the other little kids.... everal requests o the shop not to allow her to do this fell on deaf ears. Also they dont tell you when you arent in credit so just keep an eye on it.
The shop really is mega expesive when you compare it too town. My advise would be if you want a tea/coffee on the first mornin when you wake up is take a bit of each with you....the supernmarket in town TANSAS (off the dolmus take a left and keep walking , or ask the driver and sometimes they will drop you outside) is dirt cheap, though basic. Dont forget as well they only supply one loo roll.. Though the built in bidet helps my kids reckon lol....(check out the taps at the side of the loo...i dare ya)
The bar/resteraunt at the hotel is ok....the food i thought was reasonably priced but i would not say cheap... and of reasonable quality. Though other reviews have said it is cheaper than town i would definitely not agree. It was good enough if you were having a quiet night by the pool.
the staff around bar were quite funny at times, Tim did get a bit annoying about the turkish night but laughably so rather than wanting to smack him in the teeth lol, The staff oon the whole were a good bunch who more oten than not where quite hilarious though i dont think they realised it. overall they look after you well and will go out of their way to comply with any request you may have.
And for the blokes if you want to do your bit for anglo-turkish relations they play football.......yes you heard me 7 -a-side on the pitch about 2mins walk away.. Thugh yu do have to pay its only 10tyl/£4 per person to contribute to the cost of pitch. It is usually guests versus staff nd a good way to meet other guests as well as a good laugh. Believe me they do not like losing lol. the games a played at around midnight /12.30 am to avaid the heat just for those who envisaged themselves dying in the midday sun lol
The hotel next door the julien forest has a couple of water slides , my teenage sons along with others used to go around there with their towels and thoroughly enjoy themselves too when they needed a change of scene away from dads prying eyes. lol
The position at the top of the valley is a blessing, there is absolutley no noise at night from anywhere so a good nights sleep is guanteed, yu cant even hear the call to prayer. The dolmus stops right outside the hotels pool entrance and is 1ty/ 40p into town and runs every 5 mins or so up till about 1.00am
i can't go without recommending this resteraunt.....The Set Steakhouse.....Just as you get of the dolmus its directly over the road in front on the corner(opposite corner to the old car) It is fantastic....the best steak i have had anywhere. I had just the fillet ith garlic butter on one occassion and you get what you ask for ....a 9oz steak with not a gramme of fat cooked to perfection. with salad, chips or baked spud for £9 cant recommend this place highly enough superb...
For watches visit ali at the watch center in the bazaar best ones i have seeen in the resort and an automatic with ALL the functons working should set you back around 25-30 pounds.
A visit to the wednesday market is also essential...."cheaper than the shoplifters" was my favourite though there were many others not so politically correct. All the women are J-lo + Jordan. And if like me your a bit folically challenged you walk around to a never ending chorus of "hey baldy" lol
A well as some fantastic snide t-shirts etc... the fruit etc... here is fantastic....
The dalyan checkout excursion if your with thomson ....good day out, but a complete shed of a hotel which they take you too....if like us you were coming back to brum (bristol flight to had to leave then as well) we had 1/2 hour to shower before dinner then the transfer......2 1/2 hours before you get anywhere with all the pick ups if your at greenworld so you may as well just take the transfer......Not very good value at all and the whole day felt a little rushed, not the relaxing day that the rep trys to sell. Though i would recommend the day out but book with someone near the beach during your hols as you bound to get a better deal and probably a better day out.
well think i have wrote enough for now, overall i would recommend the greenworld and willbe going back (something i have never done before).....
if anyone needs any more info gimmie a shout and i'll do what i can to help

| said: First time to Turkey and I think we chose an excellent resort and location in Greenworld.
Rooms - Immaculately clean and fresh, extremely well maintained and serviced. Air con was an additional £25 a week and was needed as it was always hot. Sadly the air con only works when you are in the apartment and so needed time to come down to temperature also it's only in the main bedroom, in our 1 bed apartment we ended up dragging the sofa bed in to keep 1 child cool at night. Additional fans were not available to rent. The balcony over looked the pool which was nice. To call this self catering is stretching it. Bare essentials are there and suited us fine as we intended to eat out all the time.
Pool - Huge pool area and enough sunbeds for every guest staying at the resort (including children) so no sunbed/towel syndrome here. The pool area was spotless and well maintained. Wasps were not a problem there really was the only occasional siting along with the odd honey bee. Because of being near a wooded area insects are bound to be around.
Restaurant - Waiters were always friendly, polite and curteous, we weren't overly impressed with the food which cost slightly more than in town. We tended to have 'brunch' here which was fine but ate out in the evening coming back for a last few drinks and to catch the end of the entertainment. Evening entertainment was mediocre ranging from belly dancers that tried to get you on stage to a magician that was so bad he was funny but all in all they were 'entertaining'.
Card System - Didn't have a problem with the card system of paying. We opted to pay at the end. On each receipt there was a total price owed which didn't include the purchase just made so it was quite easy to keep an eye on. After a few days the staff recognised us and new the card number which included the children, just needed to keep an eye on what children were buying !
Location - Greenworld is set at the end of a road on the outside of Icmeler and for us was ideal, only a short bus ride away from town. The position of the apartments in the lea of steep wooded hills just addded to the overall ambience of the place.
I would recomend Greenworld to all my friends and to anyone heading for Icmeler. 5 star accomodation

| said: Just returned fron 3 weeks in greenworld, this was our first visit to Turkey, rooms were spotlessly clean and cleaning staff very helpful, reception staff also very courteous and helpful.
Mustafa, Temel and Martin who were the waiters at the pool bar were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and very friendly.
Location was great, fabulous mountain views, Dolmus into Icmeler centre only 5 mins and 1 Lira (40p each)
Pool area was fabulous very clean and tidy and always plenty of sunbeds, nice kids play area which was shaded and also kids pool.
Wasps could be a problem in early evening but as soon as sun dissappeared so did they, we had no stings and did not know of anyone else getting any.
COULD ONLY DESCRIBE OUR STAY AS FABULOUS AND WE WILL BE GOING BACK IN OCTOBER.

| said: Excellent kiddies park and pool , main pool clean and wasp free over the two weeks !! Rooms clean modern and roomy. Staff friendly. The pay card system is not good or popular however and needs looking at, as you never know how much you have on unless you keep every bit of receipt paper, it doesn't have your spending details on and this is not good when you are in and out of the pool, you never know where you are with it.
Lots of guests agree with this when talked about.
Also slope for wheel chairs and prams is way too steep and quite dangerous if you are not to good on your feet.

| said: We stayed at the Greenworld Apts September 2006, we had read a lot of reports before we went regarding the wasps, but didn't think it would be quite as bad as it was. We were stung 6 times in the space of 2 weeks, so they were a really problem.
The apts were fantastic, and so clean we had a 2 bedroomed apt with 2 bathrooms!
Most of the staff were fantastic and really helpful.
Food at the pool bar was quite expensive compared to meals in Icmeler itself.
Very disappointed at the lack of entertainment, we were told this was due to the fact it was coming to end of season, although it started up again in our last week???
You really need to get the Dolmus to Icmeler as it is too far to walk, but they only cost 1 lira per person.
Would go back as long as they sorted the wasp problem out, met some great friends for life.

Entertainment marked down as the evening programme was cancelled because of lack of guest commitment, most went into town for the evening.
The on site Turkish Bath & Salon are excellent.
Hotel Staff very good.
The hotel location makes for a great best of both worlds holiday, the hotel very relaxed and with the resort with all its entertainment only a short Dolmas ride away.

The apartments are spotless , cleaned daily .The Pool and Pool area are great, very clean with plenty of room and no problem getting a sunbed.
All the staff were very friendy, helpful and made you feel very welcome.
The restaurant was excellant with plenty of choice of snacks and main menu in the evenings.
The Bar Staff worked very hard and also entertained the guests in addition to the regular entertainment.
This was our first visit and we are going back again later this year .

| said: Greenworld apartments in Icmeler are one of the best that you will find
No faults can be found as these apartments are superb and the cleanliness, the food, location, staff and entertainment were all fantastic
For the last four years we have been coming to Turkey and have made so many friends here that we can't stop coming back.
We have stayed at the Julian Forest which is located just next door to Greenworld for the past two years and when we tried to book it again this year could not get in so we decided to book greenworld instead.
We thought that nothing could be better than the Julian Forest but were surprised that it was even better.
We have so many friends in Turkey especially in Icmeler and every year we come back we keep making new friends as well as meeting up with the old ones that we have known from the years before
We love Icmeler and will be coming back once again next year to visit all our friends

| said: These are 1st class apartments set at the bottom of pine clad mountains, the setting is beautiful.
Ample sunbeds but this was at a quieter time of the year, so may be different in height of summer, round a lovely pool area.
Apts are a 5min ride in a dolmush (cost 1 Lira, great way of meeting people from other apts)to the centre of Icmeler.
The staff are great and will do anything for you.
Not much in the way of entertainment, but they do a lovely buffet & BBQ at their "Turkish Night".
They operate a "credit card" system where you put credit on your room card,so no need to handle cash.
Looking at going back in the summer of 2006 - can't wait!!

The location was beautiful (between two mountains) just a short dolmus journey or about 20 minute walk into Icmeler, where there was a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
The Apartments were kept to a very high standard, cleanliness was second to none and all the hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had never visited Turkey before but we were impressed how friendly the people were and how clean the whole area was.
The holiday was very enjoyable and if you go you must go on a jeep safari (very wet, but very funny and an excellent day out, especially if you have children).
We have never returned to the same place for a holiday before but we have re-booked to stay at the Greenworld Apts this year in June and we can't wait!!!!
