| said: This was our second stay at the Traveller’s Rest and it was excellent.
Everything was ideal from the staff to the cleanliness and the amazing food served in the restaurant. As the Travellers does its own transfers we were picked up and whisked to Icmeler in no time. This is a special place to stay as Christine and Ramazan really know how to treat their guests and everything is done for their convenience. We even got a welcome pack with milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits. The position of these apartments is great as you are on the dolmus route and opposite the Tansas. I really liked the swimming pool which has steps and is 1.4 metres deep. The entertainment is very good with quizzes, bingo,Turkish nights and Rockin Ken with his music.

| said: We were not happy with out accom with Thomsons so we we booked into the Travellers half way through our holiday. We really enjoyed our stay there .
The staff Memhet and Evo were very friendly and would go out of their way to help you. Christine and Ramazan were great, and everyone was so friendly. The apartments were spotless and well equipped.
The pool was great as it was a walk in pool and was about 1.40 metres all round. Plenty of sunbeds available at any time of day. The restaurant food was excellent and we ate there many times during our stay.
The entertainment was very good with quizzes and live music and kareoke.
We would certainly return to the Traveller's Rest.

| said: Our holiday was made up after discovering Travellers rest apartments just across the way, they were amazing they showed us round and said we could use their fantastic pool facilities free of charge,so we just kept buying our food and drink there in return at least. Food was good yorkshire home cooked just like mams.
Staff were friendly had great crack with Jack and Pete Couldn't do enough for us and we werent even staying there, would definatley for sure reccomend Travellers Rest to anybody thinking of going to Icmeler as the resort is beautiful and locals very friendly.
Travellers Rest is a fab Place to be and to stay rooms were very clean and trendy, staff are fantastic and great food also close to everything.

Pool area exellent plenty of sun beds to go round. Depth of pool 1.4mts which is very good as its good for children & non-swimmers alike.
Already booked for next year same time same place. well done to Ramazan, Christine & staff.

| said: We had an absolutley brilliant time at the Travellers Rest apartments.
The hotel was kept very clean, although we only had a few meals at the hotel they were all very nice.
The location of the hotle is good as you are in the centre of Icmeler and only across the road from the supermarket.
We had such a good laugh with all the staff especially the lovely poolbar staff Pete and Jack.
We will definatley visit the Travellers apartments in the near future.

| said: we stayed at the travellers rest with my sister and her family. the holiday was fantastic as was all the staff, especailly ebo and memet. we were made to feel very welcome and were taken care of, the staff were amazing with our 10 month old son and did everything possible to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. the hotel was small but met all our needs the rooms are clean and well maintained as is the pool, the food was good yorkshire grub with plenty of choice, the hotel was located near to the beach and shops. the entertainment in the hotel was good we especially enjoyed race night and rockin kenny. we booked again for 2007 but had to cancel at the last minute unfortunatly but my sister went back, we made loads of friends who also booked to go back at the same time, we are really sad that we didnt get to back this year. hope everyone enjoyed themselves. we will be definatly be going back there in the future as its was the best holiday we have been on as a family. thanks to everyone there, see you all again soon.

Although, it would'nt have been half as good without the two lovely friendliest pool/bar staff Pete & Jack! They really made our holiday special and we miss them very much!
The rooms were very clean lovely place, Pete had placed flowers in the room and there was heart shapes and patterns with the towels around the apartments, which was a lovely touch. Pete and Jack made the day times enjoyable with their fun estactic personalities, always making us laugh and they were really good with the kids.
We had a lovely time at the Travellers Rest and we hope to go again very soon.

| said: Stayed at these apartments after booking them in 2005 when we were on holiday in Icmeler. We were not disappointed. Excellent value for money - apartments adequate for all your needs. Welcome pack on arrival, much appreciated. Pool excellent and get the sun all day.
You could get a sunbed whatever time of day you arrived at pool.
The food in the restaurant cannot be faulted. But the best think about these apartments are the staff. They do what they can to make sure you have a good holiday and Christine was very helpful. My daughter's boyfriend was taken ill at the start of the second week and everyone was very helpful. Have already booked to go back next year!!

The food at the hotel restaurant was realy very good.
The hotel was near Tansas, center and the local market
but a bit far from the sea but it doesn´t matter.
The staff in the restaurant and the poolbar was wonderful and funny, we had many nice moments with the staff. And Christine was very helpful and she was always smiling and laughing. We also like this little boy, Effe he was so lovely.
Thank you for a very nice holiday and we hope to see you all again.

| said: What can I say, but hey, these apartments are some of the best we have stayed in.
After placing an appeal on the Turkey forum here a few weeks ago, a couple of people recommended these new apartments. I asked for an apartment in Icmeler that was:
• Close to the Tansas
• On the main Dolman route
• Had a nice pool
Well the Travellers Rest Apartments Certainly Ticked all our boxes and more !!!
The apartments are clean and tidy and in an excellent location. The welcome pack is a lovely touch. (milk, tea bags, coffee, sugar, water and a pack of biccy’s)
Nice plump new pillows and crisp white bed linen. A Toaster, 2 Ring hot plate, Full size fridge, kettle and plenty of storage space. The balcony in our apartment was very large with room for a table and 4 chairs, overlooking the pool.
The Pool area was spotless with plenty of sun beds and mattresses. It was a bonus to discover the restaurant did some fantastic food at reasonable prices. The Menu is all English and although we normally like to try a variety of local dishes while in Turkey we did find ourselves eating there on a few occasions. The staff in the restaurant and bar were excellent and made us wish we had booked for two weeks!
Have to say a huge thank you to Jack and Pete. Our 10 year old god daughter stood on a wasp/bee around the pool and screamed the place down. The 2 lads came to the rescue with tweezers and a LOT of patience.
The private transfer (included in the price) was really appreciated. No huge coach with dozens of drop offs and pick ups.. We travelled straight to apartments in comfort and straight to airport on the return journey. Stress Free!
Will we stay there again ? YOU bet we will… We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

| said: Well we didn't believe it when Christine and Ramazan said last year they were going to modernise the old dilapidated building which sat behind the Travellers Rest Restaurant but blimey, we could hardly believe the transformation.
It sits nicely in the middle of Icmeler, in a great location for getting on to the canal or the main street, it's also close to Tansas and a very nice fruit and vegetable merchants so it's dead convenient.
The apartments are self catering as you would expect but on arrival we had a welcome pack which included water, milk tea bags and coffee which was a nice touch until we could get for some supplies. The apartment consisted of a kitchen area housing a kettle, toaster, two ring cooker and fridge. There were very basic eating implements (one or two complaints about having only 3 plates etc) but that didn't bother us as we had no real intention of cooking anyway, the kettle and the mugs were the most important to us, however, we did ask for more pillows and within an hour they were there so if your short of anything, just ask. There was a separate shower room housing all the usual and a bedroom which was air conditioned (extra). In the sitting room area there is a sofa which can be made into another bed so the apartment will in fact sleep 4. There is plenty of storage space, we had a large wardrobe which had two drawers at the bottom and a shelf at the top, a dressing table with a large drawer and a bedside cabinet with storage space and a drawer, there was also a small cabinet in the sitting room area so theres plenty to go at. If you get room 405, there are also loads of coat hangers as I left mine there!
We were fortunate to have one of the rooms which had two balconies, one front and one back. The one on the back had a table and chairs and the one on the front was quite small but could house a chair if you'd like to sit and read although it is a bit noisy with the traffic and we did notice this at night but after the first couple of nights we got used to it.
The lady came in every day to clean, the apartments are very clean and tidy and our towels were changed on every 3rd day (every other day would perhaps suit me more but that may change in the future).
The pool area was kept lovely and clean and we saw the staff religiously cleaning down when everyone had gone in, this cleaning also included the mattresses!
There is a bit of entertainment in the pool bar and to give Christine her due, it is the first season and she's got to test the water and maybe find something alternative to the dancing on the bar, break dancers and Michael Jackson shows - there is an adjoining restaurant which serves great food and the staff in there, particularly Mehment and Ibo (and can't forget Jack and Pete in the pool bar who are extremely helpful), are a good laugh and keep people entertained. There were posters advertising BBQ and Rocking Ken (60's music etc)and midweek by the pool bar there is Karaoke for those of you who daren't go to Deniz Kapezi and would like a quieter try to see if you are the next Elvis - that was fun, they couldn't get me off once I started, I'm practising for next year seeing as we've booked again for June and October!
In my opinion it was great value for money and good old fashioned Yorkshire welcome.

| said: This hotel is aboslutely fantastic, the best holiday I have ever been on in my life. And I have had some great holidays. We arrived at Christines and were amazed to find how lovely and clean the apartments were (compared to other's in Icmeler). The staff are really great and funny. They are so helpful and friendly, all you have to do is ask and they help you.
The pool is beautiful, always clean and cool on them extremely hot days. We had such a laugh with Jack and Pete at the pool, they are great entertainment for this kids. And not forgettin of course Ebo and Mahmet from the resturant, they are so funny. We had water fights with them all day every day. It was such a laugh. The whole family had a great time. Everyone there are so entertaining and friendly, I miss them all now.
The food is excellent, and a good price. We found it was the nicest english food, and the cheapest. Try Christine's chip shop for good old english fish and chips, which was also beautiful.
I really don't know how to put into words how fantastic this holiday really was, we have booked again to go in May 2006. We had such a great time everyone loved it. I can't wait to see them all again, Jack, Pete,Ebo, Mahmet, Ferrit, Narbi I love all of you, and not forgetting Christine and Ramazan, keep up the good work! Love Beth x x x

| said: My family go to Icmeler every year and have been to Christines restaraunt on many occasions. We had booked with bar owner of another restaraunt on first night of arrival couldnt believe what he had put us in.
Next day saw chris said she had opened up her own apartment went and had a looked at it within 10 min we had flitted to Christines we were one of the first families to stay at these apartments. She had a travel cot for my little one welcome pack brill pool really nice, and staff out off this world Jan and Dave who ran it for Chris couldnt have been more helpful.
Apartments are within reach of everything local supermarket on your door step and local Wednesday market just round the corner. Resteraurnt does good food at good prices Sunday lunch out of this world, to say you are in a foreign country.
Entertainment well when we were there I would say it was my dad and Christine round the bar true Yorkshire woman.
Will be back there again soon had to laugh when you are leaving, lads from restaraunt come out with a drum and start banging on it as you are leaving. Myself and my mother shed plenty of tears leaving the apartments hope to see them all soon.
If you want a good holiday at good prices and clean apartment could not recommend this place enough when you go say Hi to Chris from Lisa and Raf and that we will see her soon.

The food in the restaurant is excellent everywhere is clean and tidy the bar staff are great Memhet Ebo and the rest and don't we have some fun around the pool!!!!
The rooms are all cleaned every day with a change of sheets and towels the pool area is clean and plenty of sun beds the pool & bar area are also wheelchair friendly
