| said: The Ausonia is a perfectly adequate self catering facility, the main problem being the antiquated air conditioning (we were provided with fans, but in this heat they didn't have a lot of impact). Windows could be opened, but that leaves you open to the mosquitos and the noise from the Station Bar opposite (which can go on till 3 in the morning on a good night).
Other than that the apartment was fine - and feautures included a TV, a microwave, a hair dryer along with toaster, kettle etc.
The hotel is located in the smaller part of Pernera, which although has a few bars and tavernas nearby, you need to walk into Pernera or Protaras for a wider selection.

| said: The hotel was clean but little run down. For instance the pool tiles were cracked (I cut my feet twice!!).
The hotel staff were very abrupt and un-helpful. They were more interested in eating than dealing with guests, we never saw guests in the hotel bar apart from the staff.
The Anastasia hotel which you can use the facilities was a very nice hotel with friendly staff.
Would recommend if going self catering the Blue Spice for anytime of the day as there is a pool to use.

| said: We were booked to go to Tsokkos Gardens apartments and were told there was a change and we were going to the Anastasia apartments. We infact eventually were placed in Ausonia.
Its clean, very noisy from the Station Pub which you can hear music until 2.30 every morning. No entertainment!! Night staff abrupt.
The best part of the holiday was the Barley Mow Pub. Steve and Carrie, Will and Cheryl are the friendliest people you could wish to meet.
I would recommend any one to go there. Tell them we told you to go. Great entertainment, free shots, free cocktails. Steves music quiz is fantastic.
Do yourself a favour and visit the Barley Mow!!!

| said: We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which has air conditioning in both living areas as opposed to just the bedroom.
The Ausonia is part of the Anastasia so doesn't really have any facilities other than 24hr reception-this not a problem as it makes for a nice quiet place to stay.It is between Protaras and Pernera so is ideally situated depending on what kind of evening you fancy.
The staff were really friendly and obliged wherever they could.Entertainment is at the Anastasia but I would recommend you request a pool view room as there is some late noise most nights from the bar opposite-this won't be a problem if you like this.
Overall we recommend the Ausonia for location,accommodation and value for money.

| said: We stayed in the Ausonia really nice hotel
very clean room very spacious and the airconditioning
worked a treat.
We were facing the street oposite a bar which stayed open till late but with the windows shut it was ok.
Hotel staff very friendly always there to help you
the entertainment was at the Anastasia next door which my kids loved especially round the pool.
The Ausonia have its own pool if you prefer a more quite day relaxing.
