| said: What can I say? Amazing value for money! We paid £246 through wintersunshine holidays for the 3 bedroom apartment for a 12 night stay over Easter - thats £20.50 a night!
This apartment is infact a complete terrace house. It is the only apartment on the complex that hasn't been modernised and, as such in some respects, looks a bit dated. I could give a few niggles if I wanted to but that would be unfair because they are more than compensated for by the space and the value for money.
Downstairs you have a good size entrance hall, seperate living room and kitchen plus cloakroom with toilet and w.h.b. Kitchen has full 4 ring cooker, double sink, large fridge & microwave. There are tables and chairs in kitchen, the living room and on the terrace. Because of how its laid out the terrace doesnt get a great deal of sun but a set of sets leads from it down to the pool and garden area which, while not huge is ample for this small complex and very well kept.
Upstairs, 2 of the bedrooms also have a small balcony and all are a good size. One also has a cot. In the bathroom, they have replaced a bath with 2 showers, much more practical if you have up to 6 people trying to get ready at the same time. Only a drawback if you have a baby but there is always the kitchen sink! :)
The location is perfect - easy walking distance (downhill) to the old town. We also like the fact that in this part of town it feels and looks like a proper town first and a resort second.
There is no entertainment but that doesnt bother us and you wont have too far to walk to find some.
First Choice take on this complex for the summer season and I dont know what they charge but, if you are looking for a value for money holiday the rest of the year I can definately recommend Casa Mitchell.

| said: We arranged our own holiday with friends for my 40th birthday. Booked with alpha rooms and easy jet.
The casta mitchell are great. About 11 rooms, all kitted out lovely. We stayed in room 73, it was beautiful. There is a small supermarket across the road, selling all the basics.
Two doors down the road is a local resturant, selling great food, also within the immediate area loads of lovely resturants, all doing great chicken piri.
Location for the beach and main old town of Albuferia is excellent. A short walk to the beach, although it is a steep uphill climb back from beach and main resort. Small train takes you to new town of Albuferia, although we prefer the old town.
No pool side bar, so enjoy your own shop bought, cheap drink, without having to hide it from the bar man!!
Staff friendly would recommend this place for a quiet base, mainly for adults as there is no childrens pool or entertainment. Great for exploring the Algarve.
Reception opposite at the vila branca, good English speaking staff. We will definately be back. Loved it!!

| said: Clean nicely decorated appartments, the town house we stayed in was very typical portugese in character.
Well equipped kitchen quiet spacious rooms, would be a shame to modernise the house as you felt you were living albeit for a short while in the local style of things.
Would recommend this accomadation for couples groups of mature friends, not really for children
