| said: this was our second visit in two years and is was just as fabulous as the first time. gregory, jenny and their son peter who own the hotel are the loveliest people you could wish to meet, the hotel is kept beautifully clean, their food is fab. kefalonia is the most beautiful place that we have ever visited and we shall continue to book there everytime, really never want to come home.

| said: we would recommend this hotel to anybody, it was fabulous, the rooms were spotless,we were fortunate enough to have a room with a sea view. The food was fantastic,especially their bbq night.owners peter,jenny and son peter were so friendly at all times, they could never do enough for you. we would definately recommend that you hire a car, we travlled all over kefalonia and there were some breathtaking views and beautful beaches to visit. it was definately one of our most memorable holidays and we would definately go back.

| said: Never posted on a review site before but having stayed at the Maria Anna I felt compelled to.
The staff there could not do enough to help you enjoy your holiday, very friendly family who own this hotel.
The rooms whilst basic were very clean and the small fridge inside was an added bonus. The air conditioning cost 25 euros for a week but made the room feel like Alaska at times which was pleasant as the temperature was very high during our stay. Pool/Bar area spotless. Hotel BBQ provided plenty of food for all and was excellent.
Lourdas is a very quiet resort which is why we went but there are plenty of restaurants. La Mer and the Olive Lounge were the best but most expensive also. Beach is a bit of a hike so car hire is best if you want to go to beaches during a stay here.

| said: Maria Anna hotel is a friendly, family run place where nothing is too much trouble for the owners. The food is excellent and the pool side bar entertainment is great.

| said: We have just returned from the two most WONDERFUL weeks at the superb Maria Ann Hotel in Lourdas.
The family whom run the hotel (Gregory, Jenny and Peter) are the most welcoming and hospitable people. They will do all to make sure everyone is felt welcome, and ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lee, who also works at the hotel, is delightful, and an encyclopaedia of all the info you will need on Kefalonia! As is Rhiannon the Olympic representative, who is always smiling and can not do enough to help.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. There is a great pool and bar. Lee makes the BEST cocktails, and Gregory is the best cook in Kefalonia ! The views from the rooms are magnificent - what a view to wake up to in the morning !
All in all, this a lovely hotel, with the most welcoming and friendly people. We can not wait to return !
