| said: we booked the apartments in 07 to go july 08 paid a deposit when the first family arrived they said they were early which they werent and that some of our rooms for the next families would not be ready our friends a young couplehad to stay the night with us but we didnt complain and the room was sorted the next day then after that it was just downhill the manager of the aparts just complained about the young ones all the time and really got quite irate atb times and we were told by other guests that he has a go at someone every year so after about 4 days we went to another pool for snacks and swim he had a go at the young ones for jumping in the pool and we have heard from a lot of holidaymakers about his attitude but we didnt let it spoil our holidasy as we love icmeler just wont be staying there again have been going to icmeler for the last 10 year and havent stayed anywhere like this even the icmeler travel dosent deal with them any more after comlasints from hloidaymakers

| said: we have stayed at Uysal apartments for the last 5 years and will definately be back, we have always found all the staff - Reggie, Bev etc to be extremely friendly and hospitable as is Halil (the owner) and his family.
The accommodation is light, airy, and kept extremely clean. As it is very central its an ideal place to stay, close to shops, the beach and the many excellant restaurants in Icmeler.
Unfortunately we cant get to Turkey this year but will definately be back next year - cant wait to meet all our friends at Uysal.Love to you all.

Uysal Apartments are situated over a row of shops just off the main square in Icmeler and are 5 minutes from the beach.
There are 11 one bedroomed apartments sleeping 4 people,all haveing either a pool or main road and mountain view.
the bedrooms have ample storage space ie:-cupboards and wardrobes and also have an air conditioning unit.
The lounge,that also includes the kitchen area has a pull down sofa bed, also a table and 4 chairs.
The kitchen area has the full self catering facilities for 4 people and also includes a cooker,toaster and fridge.
Balconies are quite large and have a table and 4 chairs and a clothes airer for drying towels and trunks etc.
The reception area is very airy and the staff who are all English speaking are always avaliable.
Just off reception can be found settees for relaxing out of the heat of the sun and TV is also avaliable.
From reception can be hired safety deposit boxes these also are situated in the reception area.
An outside bar that also supplies snacks etc serves the very large pool and surrounding sunbathing areas were ample sunbeds and mattreses along with sun brollies are for the guests use.
One of the best apartments I have been in and one of the best value apartments in Icmeler.

| said: I went to to usual apartments on July 6th and loved it, I would defenatly go again. Goos staff very friendly. Also the pool is nice and quiet.
We went in Captain Bullshit a lot its great especially when it gets to happy hour, we have been to Captain Bullshit before a coouple of years ago and it is nice to see the staff again, they are all really friendly and their boat trip is just the best ever very entertaining !!

| said: A friend at work advised me when I said I was interested in holidaying in Turkey and gave me the number and e-mail address of the travel agents that is incorporated in the apartment block.
A lovely scottish girl by the name of Carol and I booked the apartment through her and she advised me on the best places to get cheaper flights.(Although sadly she no longer represents Uysal but the agents are still very helpful)
As to the holiday the room was very clean and spacey and Reg the caretaker could not have been more helpful and being a family of 5 it was nice not to get ripped of for the extra supplements.
The apartments get a lot of repeat clients (My self included ...this will be my 3rd time in 4 years)and I have met loads of lovely people.
The pool gets sun all day and there is always sunbeds...The apartments were given another floor 2 years ago and although I have not stayed in these I was given a guided tour by Reg and must say they are very nice.
All in all these apartments and staff are very welcoming and you will not go wrong booking ...See you there??
Ps:- Reg's BBQ's are legendary so if you get friendly with the other patrons (Which it's hard not to) get him and his lovely wife to organise one ...it's well worth it ...We did and shared the costs with the other guests ...Even 'Beverly' the Belly Dancer (Not very Turkish I know...she's scottish too!! lol) Great night made the holiday....

| said: We stayed in a lovely clean apartment for the first 10 days and were then told we would have to move down to the basement for the remaining 4 as they had overbooked.
The basement consists of 2 small rooms which smell like a public toilet and had no ventilation. We complained to Carol from Icmeler travel centre who said she would move us if we agreed to pay extra!! We had no choice but to agree!
The first week was great. When we complained about the move, Reg the manager became very aggresive, rude and intimidating. Spoiled what would have been a great holiday.
Will not be going to the Uysal again, nor using the Icemeler travel centre.

| said: Have stayed in these apartments on 3 previous occasions and am going again 14th October for another week. Suppose this says it all - I really like the place!
Good size apartments, some have balcony (or 2)overlooking pool, some overlook main road and I know of 1 apartment that has a balcony front and back so you get the benefit of both views. I have stayed in 3 different apartments, all had bedroom separate to the main "living" area. Usual as far as fridge, mini cooking area etc.
Cannot comment on food as self catering - never had problem taking food or drink into the apartments.
The pool is really good size and I've never seen a problem in getting a sunbed although to be fair I don't normally stay around the pool area.
Nice bar area also.
Staff always seem really friendly day or night - I've always checked in very early am and there's still always a friendly face waiting for me.
No entertainment as such as normal self catering accommodation.
Certainly from my experiences would definitely recommend a visit.

That was our second time there, and we are returning this year 2006. They are great.
The owner and staff are very friendly and really make you feel at home. Air conditioning is included in the price which is a bonus, for once it is nice to meet someone who does'nt try to take your eyes out (if you've been to Turkey you will know what I mean).
These apartments are highly recommended.

| said: My husband and myself have stayed at the Uysal twice and are about to book this year.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly especially Reg the manager he can't do enough for you. Last year we asked him if he would have a barbacue he was very happy to oblidge he even took my husband with him to buy the food and the cost was split between all who were there he even supplied a belly dancer fantastic night fantastic holiday.
