| said: We stayed in these apartments at the very begining of the season this year (infact we got back home only yesterday!)
We found the apartments to be wonderful, couldnt fault a single thing with them, they are basic but that was what we wanted as we spend very little time in the appartment anyway.
They are situated a stone throw away from the wednesday market which is a ...unique experience...slightly stressful for my likeing but enjoyable none the less. And a very short walk from the main drag of restarants and bars and the beach 10 minutes away! The scenery is beautiful and the appartments look wonderful!
We didnt eat at the apartments appart from the off portion of fries but all the staff were very friendly and happy to have a conversation and at the end of our trip they wave everyone off and say bye which is a nice personal touch
The maid service is fantastic we had it daily and they did a excelent job and placed the towels on the beds in a decorative manner such as in a heart shape which was a nice touch :)
We didnt watch any entertainment but we were in the appartment during turkish night and it sounded like everone was haveing a wonderful time...fairly noise until 12 oclock on turkish night but other than that it was very peaceful appart from the usual noise accociated with staying in hotel/appartments
We definitely plan on visiting the apartments again many times in the future as this was our frst trip to Turkey and we had a wonderful time!

we have just returned this morning from these apts. they are basic but clean, and about 15 mins walk to the beach, 2 mins walk to the weekly weds market and around 8 mins walk to tansas area. we were given a back room which i dont recommend if you are a light sleeper as we had cockrels all night long making noises and a generator, even though we had requested a quiet room, also floors above are noisy if you have someone walking around in shoes, moving furniture etc. the staff are fairly friendly but we didnt stay at accommodation in the daytime much so didnt get to know them that well. the pool was average size but there was lots of wasps in their trees surrounding the pool and after my daughter got stung on day 1 we decided to go to the beach the rest of the week. if you dont expect much then you will be ok, be prepared not to have much hot water, think out of a week only one evening we had hot water and never in the morning. rooms fairly big with a decent size balcony, 2 ring hob, small fridge with no freezer compartment. pull out bed settee and separate double bedroom and shower room

| said: We have visited Icmeler 3 times, once at the Pinewood and twice at the Kleopatra with other family members. Both apartments are lovely but the second time at the Kleopatra we booked independently saving ourselves £300. Jake (very helpful) on reception made it so easy to do this. We even got the room we asked for (pool view).
Smiley (bar man and waiter) is so nice and call everyone "love". Ainsley (real name Aytekin) cooks breakfast and bar snacks and they are delicious.
Rambo and Ali work the evening shift and are fab. My 2 teenage boys - along with their cousins - like to visit the disco bars in Icmeler (about a 15 min stroll away) and inveriably would head back to the apartments in the early hours. Rambo and Ali would always be there to have a chat to. Ali came with us on the Jeep Safari trip after a full night shift and then went straight back to work on the evening.
The man that owns the apartments is smashing as are his elderly mum and dad who always wave to you. His little boy Memhet is gorgeous and used to come to our apartment to play with my sons PSP's.
BBQ night is fun - lovely food, free drink, kareoke and bingo (such a laugh) and the belly dancer and breakdancers - make sure you keep some lower notes as tips because they encourage 10 lira notes as tips - which can prove expensive if you tip belly dancer, folk dancers, breakdancers etc. Good night well worth the money though!
Go here and you will not be disappointed. People return year after year and some visit 2-3 times a year.

| said: Apartments very clean, cleaned every day and cleaner very pleasant.
Food basic but nice. Apartments are at the back of resort, but a very nice location and next to the Wednesday market.
All that I can say about the staff is that they made our holiday the best we have ever had. Jake on reception cheerful and helpful, Smiley on day shift is a joker and entertains you all day.
On night shift you have Rambo who is a gentleman, and then you have Ebor, who is the nicest kindest loveliest lad you could wish to meet.
I would recommend these apartments to any one thinking of going to icmeler never mind Turkey. Turkish night on Saturdays are great fun , but every day you have fun and entertainment from the staff . The Kleopatras is the jewel in Icmelers crown.

| said: We have stayed at the kleopatra twice and are going back for third time this year. The accommodation is basic but very comfortable, the staff are fantastic and make you feel very welcome, the food is spot on as to is the cleanliness of these apartments.
To go along with what simon the fireman said, the towels on sunbeds at 10.00 pm is a bit much to handle, but each to their own.
We are going back to the kleopatra in august but will be travelling independently, by doing this we have saved £700, more money to spend on goodies !!
The apartments are a good 15 minutes walk to the beach, but it is a pleasant stroll and plenty of bars to go in on the way.
If you are feeling lazy there is a train that will pick you up at the end of the road and drop you wherever you want.

| said: This was our second stay at these apartments and on both occasions they have been wonderfully clean. On a daily basis the cleaners do the rooms and are very friendly.
Large double sofa bed in main room and large double /twin beds in bedroom. Every room has a balcony. Situated in the old village 2 mins from the Wednesday market.
Jake on reception is a darling and sorts anything for you.
Smiley barman during the day is a love and very funny. Ebor and Rambo got to get a star each as well.
Lifts from boss whenever we went down to village even when we stayed elsewhere on our return for a wedding 10 days after our holiday in July/August 2005.
Only stayed elsewhere because Turkish friend arranged it and Kleopatra was full. Will be back though!!!!!!!!!!

| said: The apartments are self catering and have 32 rooms on 4 floors avoid the top floor if you are like me over 6ft tall as your head will argue with the roof joists.
This apartment is tremendous value for money if hospitals in the uk where kept as clean mrsa would not exist. the accomodation consists of 1 bedroom with a king size bed and a living room with a sofa bed, there is a fridge and 2 electric rings included and the room is large enough for 4 adults , each room has a balcony.
The pool is about 1.4 metres deep and apart from people using the towels to reserve beds is wonderful please get up early if you want to do the towel routine because walking through the bar at 22:00 with your towels looks sad, if you cant find a sunlounger see Jake or the guys and they will find you some.
If you need it aircon its £25 per week, fans are £10 per week. If you need a safety deposit box they are also £10.
Late check out rooms are also £10 till 18:00 after this £20. Food at the poolside bar is good value and well made ainsley the chef is young but talented.
The apartments are to the rear of the resort near the mosque and the Wednesday market about 200 yards max, about 15 mins from the beach if you are a brisk walker, but the owners provide transport if you ask.
The staff are tremendous Jake on reception will do all he can to make sure your holiday is as enjoyable as possible. Smiley who runs the bar during the day is a wonderful lunatic ( hp brown sauce is a suntan cream and food according to him) who will entertain everyone and try his best to keep you happy.
During the evenings you have Ebo and Rambo running the bar 2 more wonderful people watch out for Rambo moon bathing and Ebo arranging times when the moon will appear.
Thomsons class this apartment as 3* the people working there are 5*. Saturday night is Turkish night and costs £30 for 2 adults and 2 children ours are 15 and 16 and includes a barbeque and you can go back for more and includes 1 free drink each and belly dancers turkish folk dancers and karoke and bingo for a laugh.
I have never visited Turkey but the people here and in resort have converted me.
Will I go again, yes I am pricing flights to book direct because I could save £600 to spend in resort. Included is the website of this apartment www.kleppatraapart.com
Please try this turkish jewel you will not be disappointed!
