| said: This is the sixth time we have been to this hotel, and it gets better every time. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels and linen changed every other day. The food in the adjoining restaurant is fabulous with free breakfast the day after, I had to order off the childrens menu as the adult meals were too much for me and i dont like waste. We were there for my friends Sharon and Rambos wedding, which all i can say was glorious, glitzy and a fantastic experience. The staff are fantastic, they just cant do enough for you, the entertainment was good yet again cheers Rambo, Buchin let his hair down and got drunk, vejdin well what can we say hes a cracker, thanks to all the staff for making yet another holiday fantastic, Wykieth, Freddy, Becki, Jan, Gokhan and any i forgot. We are going back in August 2008 there are about 16 of us going for a big reunion.

| said: We arrived at 6 in the morning - the room was very basic, but Ok. The kitchen was very big, but only had a portable 2 ring hob. We planned to eat out anyway so it didnt matter. We found the beds quite comfy. We had air conditioning in the bedroom - costs 30 lira - you need it!!
The hotel wasnt very clean. We didnt have our towels changed at all. I had to take some from the linen cupboard next door to us. The only things they cleaned during the week were emptying the bins.
The pool was Ok, but rather cold. Food is Ok, but the drinks are very expensive compared to other places.
We found the staff ok at first, but when they see you going out at night they try and make you stay there. One tried it on with my daughter and she didnt want to know - after that we were ignored and they kept trying to make us pay for drinks that we didnt have.
We stayed for their Turkish Night which was a laugh - but not after that. We ate at a bar called "Flares" 2 minutes walk up the road - The staff there was brilliant and also the food - We went there most nights.
I would definately not visit this hotel again, but I would definately go back to Marmaris.

reading some of the negative reviews I wonder if they went to the same aparts all the staff were fantastic with us polite and helpful allready booked for next september looking forward to seeing our turkish freinds again

| said: This is our 5th time to Marmaris but first time stayin in sundream and certainly not our last..as I have booked to go back next July.
When we first arrived at the hotel we was dying for a alcoholic drink but it was 3am in the morning so we thought the bar would be closed but we was in luck so we dumped our cases and sat down with the hotel staff till morning.
What made us laugh though is the amount of guests who got up at 7 to put towells on the sunbeds so before we knew it they were full.
The staff are really good about this though because of they are left unattened for an hour they move the towells so we managed to get a bed to sleep off what we had drank ready for the night.
Come the second day I was getting stressed with the room only because one of the girls had taken up all the storage space. The rooms are ideal for 2 people but not for 4 as us other 3 had to live out of cases but we was not bothered as we only used to room to get ready in we never slept there really as we was never going to bed we slept it all off round pool with the staff looking after us by throwing ice over us if we were too hot or pushing us in to wake us up but what is there to complain about ya on holiday and the staff were ace especially rambo pepe freddi n my can (john)..
All drinks are buy one get 1 free and the food in palm corner is to die for especially the carbonara with added garlic.
We ate here most nights just to have our free breakfast the next morning.
We never watched entertainment in hotel as we always went. out the location of hotel is in good area we have stayed in this area everytime we have been so know all the bars and restaurants.
Can not wait to go back now and see you all soon.

| said: first time in turkey we booked aol so didnt know what to expect about anything. room basic but end of day its just some where to sleep, we were out back and had view of trees and more trees. cleanliness theres room for improvement! food was nice try there cuisine! Try 'flares' 'amore' and the 'sidewalk-paddys' Staff couldnt faulter they all work hard especially (spelling near enough)vejin(bobby) wycliff, and try jimmy in the barbers, great lads. We wish rambo all the best and a happy marriage!! buses every couple of mins, trips would recommend and dont miss the 'talk of the town' excellent night! pool good size although didnt see it get cleaned once throughout the fortnight we were there so some mould around the sides need removing! but wouldnt stop us going there again. The whole holiday was enjoyable, entertaining and very HOT! Atmosphere was great not just with the staff but with the other holiday makers. To all staff we miss you and hope to return in the near future!

| said: Keeping in mind that all that most holiday makers want is value for money, and to get the enjoyable holiday they are paying for.....then this Hotel/Apts will give you that and lot more as bonus...it exceeded my expectations and at no extra cost !!
From the earlier reports its obvious that since Beppe has been made manager he has really turned it around. He has got the staff he wants and they are to a one first class, helpful and friendly without being overbearing, all you could want.
Please bear in mind its three star, they don't pretend to be the Savoy so don't expect it...for example as sixty year old I don't "do" boom-boom-rap music...but what the heck...it wasn't just my holiday...and if I can live with it.....how can such a minor thing upset a holiday ??
All in all, as I said you get what you pay for...and what you put into it...you wont like all your fellow holiday makers or perhaps all of the staff....but if you don't enjoy your stay here...stay at home...there is no pleasing you...sorry !!

| said: Me and my family have just got back from Marmaris (today in fact!) and we all agree it was the best holiday we've had for a few years.
Sun Dream was a brilliant hotel, although first impressions at 5 in the morning weren't great, we soon saw that it was clean and just right - basic but liveable, which is all we ask for really.
The staff and entertainment were awesome (especially the Turkish night, which was a load of fun but pretty humiliating for me), and all three female members of our family are part of the Mustafa fan club, and we were very sad that he left!
Dunno about the rest of my family, but I'll be back someday with my friends to explore Bar Street a bit more...

| said: This was without a doubt the best holiday any of us have ever been on! We went out for 2 weeks.. could have stayed alot longer. We returned home on August 4th and today is the 5th and we are already booked up 2 go out for another week on August 23rd! Never have I ever met such nice and friendly staff! The resort was perfect, there was always a happy feel when there. Our hotel room, although small for three girls, was awesome.. we had a perfect view of the pool and bar, any problems we faced were fixed and sorted out straight away! Our room was cleaned everyday and we were given fresh bedding and towels more or less everyday! Another great thing about staying at Sun Dream was you were treat like you are part of their family.. we got on with the staff so well that they would come out with us after finishing work and really looked after us! They always had a smile on their faces.. they made an effort to get on with everyone.. from small children to the older members of large families. Not only that, but they majority of men working there are gorgeous!!! The food was lovely, Spaghetti carbonara is the one! We ate in the hotels restaurant almost everynight! The entertainment was great aswell, we always had a good night around the bar! Location was spot on, the local bus ran straight outside main reception and came every 3 minutes or something and dropped you off in the town centre, where all the shops, restaurants, beach and bars are. The bus only costs 1 YTL and i reccomend that so much more than a taxi! Ofcourse we would go back, we are going back in 2 and a half weeks and I can't wait!!

| said: Well Sundream couldn’t have been any more perfect for us!
We went on a family holiday, all 5 of us and not one of us had any problems even when my mum became ill and had an overnight stay in the hospital did they fail us! The staffs are there for your every need quite literally!
It was a brilliant holiday, the best by far and I just can’t seem to settle home again since experiencing Marmaris' night life! The music and the atmosphere is just so happy and friendly! The best part is that I found love, but lets not go too much into that! :)
The hotel restaurant is a must try, the food there is gorgeous! Especially the peppered steak and the pizzas! England doesn’t seem to do turkeys steaks justice now! All the staff and brilliant, you really feel like a big family there and that’s why we have booked another week for this year at the beginning of September for Sharon and Rambo’s wedding and not to mention to see my love!
The hotel was kept clean and tidy and just watching the boys clean around your feet all day proves that, sometimes you just wish they would sit down! They work their fingers to the bone for us and I couldn’t be anymore grateful! I made many memories while I stayed at Sundream and hopefully many more to make in the future!

| said: This holiday was amazing. After being elsewhere in Turkey, i wondered if Sun Dream would let us down, due to it bein rated one star. We were proved wrong though, from the moment we arrived. The apartments are basic, but nobody spends too much time in there anyway! The cleaners come round every day and clean, the only problem is that they constantly rearrange your stuff, and it becomes a problem to find things. The shower water was only hot at night, but a cold shower in the morning wasn't a bad thing really.
The staff were really friendly, always smiling and encouraging you to join in with the fun and games. They're only too happy to make sure you're happy too, bringing drinks to your table etc.
The guy who brings your suitcase to your room is a bit cheeky though, we tipped him a few lira because he wouldnt leave the room, and he complained that it wasnt enough! We weren't the only ones with this problem either.
Every night at the hotel there is entertainment. We had a lot of fun sitting out and enjoying the various shows. The food is fairly cheap too.
Markets are more expensive than the local shops in general, so have a decent look around before you buy anything, to stop you being conned like we were!
The best waiter was by far Wycliffe (vakif). With his cheeky smile and friendliness, you couldnt ask for more =]
Go to Sun Dream! It's more than worth the money!

| said: Shame about the weather - it was too hot! We arrived the same time as a heatwave from Africa - and found it too hot to sit out in or even to move about too much. Consequently we spend most of our time in the pool or at the bar!!!
But what a holiday we had. The staff worked incredibly hard (even in that heat) from morning to night. They brought food and drink to you at the poolside (so you didn't have to get up), and if you wanted something that wasn't on the menu, they did their best to accommodate you.
There was evening entertainment EVERY night (even if it was only a quiz and bingo!). The rooms were cleaned daily, and we didn't get ripped off at reception on exchange rates either! Bliss.
I cannot praise the hotel and its staff enough - well recommended to anyone (families as well as couples).

| said: Have just returned from this place today and can only give you this warning.
We picked this set of apartments because they were self catering and at a good price as we plan our main holiday later.
When we got there we were put in a very poor room facing nothing but bushes with no chance of any sun. We asked to be moved and we got a much better room over the pool. This was a good start but after that it went down hill fast.
The first night we used the Hotel restaurant but the food was of a poor standard and we did not enjoy at all. We gave them another go at breakfast but again poor. So we did what all self catering folk do and went to other restaurants for better food/value and from that point on we got loads of hassle.
Sitting next to the pool on the first day was to set the standard for the two week if your not 12-25 the music will drive you to drink (tecno rap) with swear words in. When we asked for some music for the older guest they put 2 70/80 tracks on then back to the rap stuff all day.
Then we come to the shows which are just some short performances followed by one of the entertaining staff showing the guest what is now expected in the form of a 10 leria tip from everybody looking on. The Turkish night making the best point at 27 Leria each for a small plate for BBQ meat plus Bellydancer/Breakdancer/ and Turkish dancers all asking for that nice tip.
Getting sleep can be very hard as the young ones can stay up making as much noise as they want till last man standing 4am no probs.
The steakhouse on the other corner from the hotel was a saver as the food is first class.
If you like your pies then look no further than Susans of Bolton across the road a real teste of home and all made onsite.
Marmaris is still a great resort but not as good value as it once was.
My advise is unless your young and will put up with that rap and hassle stay away.
If you have already booked then good luck.

Loved the staff our room was cleaned everyday.
Food good when we stayed there in June.
The entertainment more but it is the end of season so we just went out instead.
Would stay here again infact all ready booked for June 25th 2007 can't wait love Marmaris !

| said: I do feel these aparments could do with an overhaul. Especially the bathrooms.
I was surprised that glasses were allowed around the pool. Had to get our own drinks as it was rare to find a waiter serving around the pool.
Was a bit awkward when you didn't want to eat in the Palm Corner which is joined to the apartments. Evening meals were nice as were hamburger lunches. Breakfasts were awful!!
Although they say breakfast free if you have meal there ours wasn't. Charged 6ytl for 1 breakfast and 2 teas. Next morning had same it was 8ytl said previous day cheaper as we had free breakfast!!! Not what it said on the bill.
There was no entertainment unless you count the Glasgow parties going off on one at 3am!!!

| said: Set in a grotty back street of Marmaris are the Sundream apartments - staying here is certainly no dream we had a 24 hour nightmare as we only stayed there one night before walking out the next morning to find somewhere else to stay.
The rooms are very, very basic in desparate need of some basic maintainance and a damn good clean!!
The same can be said for the pool there's nothing worse than watching your 4 year old child walking in the black fur that covered the floor of the kids pool.
We did not find the staff particularly friendly during the short time we were there and if you call happy hardcore blaring out by the pool at 10am in the morning entertainment then that too was diabolical and we were sitting at the opposite end of the pool, on the shiny lawn facing the chicken coops where the "free range" chickens freely pecked around in the sunbed area.
I would definitely not stay at these apartments ever again and if you chose to do so after reading my review then do so at your peril - you have been warned!!

| said: The hotel location is great as its in a quieter location but is only a 2 minute dolmus ride to the busy part of town. The rooms are clean and great for what you want - a place to lie your head (its not as though you spend your holiday in there!!). The electrics were a little funny, you couldnt boil the kettle and someone else dry their hair, you could only use one electric socket at a time cos you shorted the room!!
Found 3 member of the staff rude and unco-operative, but the remaining staff members made up for them. Wasnt happy with the barman shutting the bar at 12 so he could go off clubbing in town. When Beppe left the place went to ruin really.
Their restaurant was nice, but they did get a little funny with you if you didnt eat there every night.
Having said all that we have booked to go back next year, just hope those 3 staff members arent there when we get back!!

Brilliant hotel, lovely food, staff that couldn't do enough for you, big pool etc.
We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked into the hotel, all the staff knew all the guests names and was like one big family.
An excellent holiday and I look forward to returning!!!

Hotel was basic dont stay in attic room they are too small. Apartments are ok nice and clean. Staff are excellent ecpecially Vacif what a star. He made our holiday the best one there look forward to seeing you in summer 2007.

The staff could make your dreams come true, they are not just friends, they make you feel like family we loved it so much we went back in Aug. And are going back in oct.

As for Anyone thinking about going to Turkey this is your place to stay, your home from home so don't delay book today. If you don't book go to Palm Corner the hotel restaurant and you will see what your missing.

| said: Got back from Sundream on 10th July on the 11th booked again for October and just booked for June 2007! We loved it that much. It was are 2nd time in Marmaris but first time at Sundream.
The staff are excellent and do anything for you.
The food was great we had are meals in the hotel every night and the next morning you got your breakfast free.
Entertainment could be better Turkish night was good and got you all to join in.
Would definitely recommend Sundream to anyone oh and would recommend Alex and Jimmy's cocktails just watch for the bad hangovers!!

It is very clean and only a short walk from the front if you want the night life. It is suitable for young and old.
I would like to say the bell boy Murat was so kind and helpful as this was our first time in Turkey he told us the best places to go.
Vakif was also an excellent member of staff including Rambo.

The food was excellent and the staff second to none, Rambo the entertainment manager was funny but his bingo left a lot to be desired. My fav staff member was Vakif and if you go you will see why.
The location was great as the number 2 bus goes passed the hotel about every 2 minutes. was my first time in Turkey and I am definitely going back next year and definitely to these apartments.

| said: Just returned from two weeks and found it a nice place to stay the staff were excellent, pool was lovely.
Had to be up early to get a sunbed but thats the same everywhere nowadays. Found the location just right not in the centre so not noisy but only a steady 20 minute walk to the sea front.
Entertainment most nights and the food in the restaurant was superb.
Looking forward to returning soon.

| said: The Sundream hotel was adequate. The pool was big, but unfortunately throughtout out 2 week stay we were unable to have a sun bed as other guests had reserved them with towels before 7.00 a.m. each morning.
The food looked nice but it all tasted the same and the steaks were never cooked as requested. The staff were only interested in you if you tipped them, otherwise there would be a delay in receiving your change.
They tried to provide entertainment but could do with a new music system as the sound was poor and the microphones didn't work properly for the karioke.

| said: Me and my friends visited this hotel summer 2005 and found it to be ace!!! We met some brilliant people from Manchester.
The food was good and if you had your evening meal at the hotel your breckie was free the next morning, but if you didn't feel like eating there they could be a little bit funny with you.
The bus stop is right outside. We went for the Turkish bath, bar crawl with the reps and the turtle island trip and millionaires cruise all were really really good.
Hotel was a little out of the way but taxis and bus are dead cheap so it didn't bother us.
All the staff were ace and the cocktails were brilliant too
Beware of the hotel room phone tho...!!! I made about 5 calls max no longer than 3/4 mins each as my phone was not working!! and I got charged £96 pound!!! eek!
All in all amazing holiday and would return!!!!
