| said: the hotel was fantasic! i went with my partner and it was our first holiday together, every one is really friendly and not pushey like the normal turks we had such a laf with andy and ash. the sindy apartments where very clean the maids where in every day and left rose petals on the bed!the food was ok for snacks but would recommened going out for tea. the pool was a nice size and very body talks to another while sunbathing. cant wait to go back next year to the sindy apartments its 10 out of 10!!!!

| said: Hi well what can I say about Sindys it was amazing! The staff were very helpful, helping us with our suitcases when we arrived. You could have a laugh with them they always had you smiling all through the holiday.
The food was fab especially the steaks.
The entertainment was good at night, it was are second time in turkey and we love it and will be returning next year.
My daughter misses it so much and didn’t want to go home.
The hotel was very clean the rooms too!

| said: We arrived at tea time on Friday. We were given a bottom room. It smelled of damp; smoke detector broke kept bleeping mildew above shower.
We went straight up to reception to get another room ,we were told tommorow. Ten minutes later and gave us key to top floor this was better. Walls were dirty no curtains in small room with double bed. No curtain or rail over balcony door. Shower rail held up with string. Under sink leaked had bowl there. Had to change bulb myself. Cleaner waste of time.
Stevie wonder could do better. Wires hanging under kitchen cupboard. Andy asked us if we were coming to his bib for 15 lira, we said going to free one down road he took huff said it was kangaroo meat. Then after that he became abusive called me ugly man. Misses said to him have you any mirrors in your place. Then next day charged us 22lira for drinks we had already paid for.
We never drank there again or spoke to any of them rest of hols.
Ignorant it makes fawlty towers look like Ritz if you like ignorant people dirty rooms being ripped off then go to sindy apartments I would advise no one to go there.

| said: Just back from Turkey and it was amazing the staff at sindy are very nice and they are there 24/7 when you need them andy emree mustafa and carlos made our stay even better; emree doesn't speak english but hes always smiling and took a shine to our little girl stacey. They join in the fun with you and they always end up getting threw in the pool;
The rooms are basic but very clean maids come in everyday say merhaba "hello" and you will put a smile on there face missing everyone at sindy keep up the good work guys see you all next year hoscakal "goodbye" x

| said: We had a great time at the Sindy Apartments last year, it was that good when we came home, we were booked up within 2 days to go back this year.
The kids loved it and we had a great time. We are taking friends with us this year so there will be 10 of us.
The staff were fantastic, Hassan, Mehmet, Hassan, Ellie and Sakin were great with the kids. Can't wait for end of July. And I still keep intouch will Hassan by msn.

| said: Stayed in the Sindy for two weeks on our first visit to Turkey. On arriving at the apartments we where well looked after by all the staff. The apartment itself, all though basic, where spotless and regulary cleaned during our stay.
As we took our two young chidren the location was perfect, with bars and resturants within easy walking distance and Marmaris centre a short bus ride away.
The hotel staff where great and looked after your every need. They all took time to talk to you and made time for the children.
Entertainment put on by the hotel was good with Turkish nights, BBQ'S and dancers. The only problem was that we did not stay to see as many of these as we the whole of Marmaris to explore!

| said: Sindy what can I say, morning noon and night these guys at Sindy are at your beck and call 24-7 they can't do enough to help.
We were a big party of 18 and they think you are kings and queens well that how you are treated. The girls that clean your rooms everyday are very very good and make a very basic room feel like a home.
It does not matter what you want from a holiday its location is spot on you can get the bus from there to anywhere and its only 5 mins from Marmaris centre, but there are plenty shops and bar/restaurants within 30 seconds walk.
The entertainment was very good and was hard to decide to go out or stay in. The food was good but Turkey as a whole, we were there for 14 days and I never came across a bad Turk yet they just can't do enough for you.
Every restaurant/bar we went to was fantastic really very good value for money. As I say there was 18 in our group and not one person would think twice about going back.
It was a fantastic holiday and most of it was down to the lads from Sindy.
Well done and keep up the good work,thank you for a holiday that non of us will ever forget..

| said: We Never Actually Stayed At The Sindy Apartments Although We Were There Every Day As If We Did Stay There. All The Staff Were Amazing. They Always Made You Feel At Home. Although The Only Downside To Our Holiday Was That My Daughter Can't Stop Crying As She Misses It So Much Back In Sindy's. I Would Deffinatly Recomend Sindy's (Although We Didn't Stay There). The Staff At Sindy's Really Did Make It An Amazing Holiday For Us All. My Daughter Wishes To Come Back As Soon As Possible.

| said: Arrived 7.30 pm, staff very helpful with luggage which they helped carry to fourth floor , room basic but OK and floors cleaned every day. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure you had good time, joining in with games, taking part in entertainment and frequently ending up in pool. They were always on hand but not too pushy. Hotel entertainment O.K. for size of hotel and added to easy going atmosphere. Hotel location well away from main town but plenty of bars around and two minute walk from dolmus pick up point. Dolmus ride to town approx 10 minutes and fares very cheap.
Marmaris itself set up for brits so lots of english food available but plenty of turkish food and culture also for people who want to go native. Lots of trips for all tastes and whole place geared up for entertaining people whatever their age or preference.
We would recommend Sindy and Marmaris to anyone who wants to have a good time and is willing to make a little effort to do so

| said: When we first ariived early hours in the morning the staff helped uz straight away with our cases and showed us our room ..All staff are VERY friendly and are always on your back to help you out when ever you need it ..They're always asking if your ok and they make sure your enjoying youself ...they go out there way to make sure your having a good holiday ..Thee poolside is good as they play games in the pool for the kids ..and they get dancers etc in at nite..Food No great ..Buts its ok..Its good for snacks during the day ..I would definatley Comee back to this apartment again as the rooms ..staff ..location ..everything really was great ..for old and young ..The staff makes sure your always smiling

| said: What can I say.....these apartments are in a good location close to bars & retaurants. The beach if you prefer is about 5 minutes on the dolmus, The guys there are very nice and always make you feel welcome. Hassan, Mehmet, Sakin and WEE Hassan do everything to help you enjoy your holiday. Ozzy is very quiet but say Merhaba (hello) to him and you'll get a big smile! 2 weeks after returning home I tried to book these apartments for the same time next year and they are sold out....I'm gutted. We will still visit the guys when we return next year. Thanks for making our time in Marmaris special xx

| said: This was my second time in Marmaris and how disappointed we were with our accommodation.
When we arrived at 6am we were given a key and told "upstairs on the left",On entering the room it seemed ok but very warm, after the long trip we wanted to get our heads down for a couple of hours so I went to the reception to enquire about air conditioning, and was told £20 per week and couldn't get it on until 10am.
The room: the curtain rail in the room was hanging off the ceiling,the bedroom door had been kicked in and a make shift repair had been done, the above air conditioning was useless, the light switch on the head board was hanging off,the bedroom window would not close properly and the veranda door handle was broken.
The staff: at first seemed friendly enough but could not get a food order right,I ordered 2 cokes,1 cup of tea and 3 beans on toast, 2 cokes and 2 beans on toast arived at the table with chips after about 15 minutes,the 3rd arrived 15 minutes later again minus the chips and I`m still waiting on the cup of tea, then when we decided to eat elsewhere (the place we found just round the corner is fantastic)we were asked where we went and why we did not eat there, once we stopped spending money on food and drink at Sindy the staff would rarely give us eye contact let alone talk to us

| said: Got home yesterday from staying at the Sindy apts, missing the staff already, Andy, Mehmet and Hassan were fab, lots of fun around the pool and fantastic with the kids, my girls shed a few tears when saying goodbye, keeping in touch with Andy though via MSN. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were very genuine. You must also visit Sunnys restaurant just down the road where Mustafa, Ayoub and Sunny are great!(more goodbye tears shed there) Yes the rooms are basic but it is just a base. Would hope to be back soon.

| said: Just returned home from an amazing stay at the Sindy Apartments! When we arrived we were a bit shocked as we were 5 floors up and the air con was broken. However, when we spoke to the hotel manager Mustafa he immediately changed our room and the service we recieved was amazing.
The service really was fantastic from start to finish. As our 4th visit to Turkey we have found that sometimes staff are very nice to you but it does not feel 100% genuine. This was not at all how it felt with the staff at the Sindy. Ozzy, Sachin, Andy and the boys were so welcoming and just wanted to have fun with you. We had our fist wedding anniversary while we were there and they helped us celebrate in style - and we didn't spend a penny while with them that night!
Mustafa could not have been a better host! He speaks fantastic English and went out of his way for us to make us happy. He took my husband to get his sun glasses fixed when they got scratched, and went out to buy him a quality steak as he'd said that he fancied one. He was totally respectful and welcoming to me and gave us a cocktail on the house for our anniverary.
The pool is big and very clean. The pool side area is big too but there are a lot of sunbeds and some are quite shaded so get there early for a good spot in the sun. The rooms were quite basic but all you need and we would definately go back again.
The location was quite good. A little (2 minutes) walk to the main bars in Armutalan but there is plenty to do and a bus stop near by to get you to the beach (10 mins on the dolmus bus). There are 2 shops near by too so you really do have all you need locally if you don't want to venture far!
When we left it was sad to say goodbye and I will never forget the staff and the amazing service we recieved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

| said: People who have posted negative comments on this hotel are either plain stupid, or just ignorant. Myself and my family have visited 5* hotels with all inclusive packages, and not one could even come close to being on a even keal with the SINDY APARTMENTS.
When we did arrive after travelling the whole day before, we did think that we had come across a dusty hotel, but when we met the staff and the manager our ideas were soon wiped clean. Mustafa and his staff were clearly genuine and they are quick to satisfiy their customers in any way. All the ingredients that a good holiday requires can all be found at the SINDY APARTMENTS!!!!
If you are considering this hotel for your holiday, from my experience, this is the #1 choice for a great holiday!

We enjoyed the location, the rooms, the food, the entertainment! But most of all we loved the staff they were all amazing but no one could beat Carlos and Kemal they looked after us for our entire stay!
This is a great family place to go and we will definitely be going back next year! I can't wait to see everyone again!

| said: After a long tedious journey and being hit with temperatures of 28 degrees at 3.30in the morning we were glad to be at our destination.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful with our luggage.
We were a bit disappointed with the room but the sun coming up and the pool to be swam in,what more could you ask for,the room was only a base.
The hotel staff were excellent. Tom,kamahl,chris, carlos the debt collector,hassan,batman,jimmy,george the chef,mental and salih the famous d.j.all made our holiday a wonderful and memorable time.
The hotel manager mustafa is a gentleman, he treats everyone with respect and the personal touch and he would bend over backwards for you ,his daughters serin and semra made great friends with our kids charlie and chelsea and there was a lot of tears shed from both parties when we had to leave.
Lisa, mustafas wife, is a lovely lady very keen to help and her dad pete always had a smile as did they all.
Thanks for a great time ,bob, julie charlie and chelsea.

| said: Just got back from this fantastic holiday, the full family enjoyed this holiday, full praise must go to the hotel staff and managment, Mustafa the Hotel owner was always on hand and approchable if any thing was needed and always making sure you were enjoying yourself, i would recommend this hotel to any one and have been that impressed that we're going down to the travel agaents to book this hotel for next year.

| said: We stayed at the Sindy during July/Aug 2006. I would not stay here again.
The hotel is ok, but I would say a 2 star, not a 3 star.
The staff were friendly enough, but we felt like we had to explain where we were going every time we left the hotel.
The food was not brill and was expensive compared to food that is better in the local bars and restaurants.
The entertainment was ok at first, but got repetitive after a few day (Micheal Jackson was on nearly every night). The drinks are really quite expensive here too.
The pool was ok, but there is little room around the outside, so your bed is right by the edge of the pool and touching the person next to you.
The rooms were basic, but clean.
The location of the hotel is great, just minutes away from bars etc.
I will not complain too much about the Sindy, even though I would not stop here again. There is enough to do in Armutalan to not have to spend too much time at the Sindy, you can use the pool at other hotels and bars. We had a brill holiday, but I would not stop at this particular hotel again.

| said: When we first arrived we were gutted as it looked so scruffy.
We were greeted by a young fella who took us to our room (bearing in mind we'd been travelling all night) only to find there was no room for us, they'd given our room to someone else!
They then tried to shove us (and many other people) in the basement underneath the shop which was apparently noisey and was disgusting inside.
After I complained to the young idiot that was on he said 'wait for the manager'.
We waited for three hours and he and the other staff went to sleep and just left us !
Horrible and uncooperative.
Don't stay here!! If you do stay here and encounter the same problems as we did, complain to your rep and maybe you will be moved like we were!
Never again!
Beware.

| said: Just got back from staying in the Sindy Apartments with my wife and 2 children aged 9 and 12. We had a great stay here in these apartments, we were self catering but we ate several times in the bar/restaurant area and found the food to be very good.
Our room sheets and towels were changed several times during our two weeks, the maid even stopped my wife several times and asked if we needed extra towels etc changed.
Staff were friendly and always had a smile for us morning and night and were very entertaining for our children.
The apartment entertainment was not great in the evening as it was mainly break dancing, Michael Jackson artists or belly dancing, but after speaking with a few holiday makers this seems to be the normal Turkish entertainment everywhere in Marmaris.
We were self catering so went out most nights to eat anyway.
We had the great pleasure of meeting Mostafa who is the owner of the Sindy Apartments, this man lived in the UK for many years so understands every problem you could have, his English is fantastic and he is on call 24hrs a day. Nothing is to much of a problem for him and he will always make sure you enjoy your stay at his home.
Location was good for my family as it was only a 5 min ride into Marmaris centre, yet we could enjoy the quite as we were away from the vibrant music and bars.

| said: When we arrived we were taken to a grotty room that i wouldent let a dog sleep in. It stunk of wee. The next morning we went down for breakfast, were we were sat right at the back, which was very nice.
That night the enterainment was garbage and very loud we had no sleep that night. Most of the staff were friendly and they played with the kids esspically the young lads.
I would not go there again.

We got in to out room walked in and our bed had collapsed when we looked at the covers it was crawling with flees. Myself and husband had millions of flee bites all over our body. The toilet was swimming with water the shower had fallen off the wall, we couldn’t lock the door it was broken! The mirror in the bath room was all cracked and was falling in to the sink was not a nice site.
I will never be returning to this hotel ever again the maid was smelling she should not be a maid her mop had dirty water and everything in it she was also smelling of bio the smell would knock you out!

| said: Arrived after a late night flight, was showing to reception with no one to be seen, waited 40 minutes on someone arriving, they gladly took us to our room on opening the front door of the room the handle fell off, sat down on the bed which was soaking, went up to reception to complain to be told I had to wait till the morning, woke up in the morning to horrific sites in the room!
Black mold walls, absolutely smelling, got the manager and the cleaner in to find that she was mopping my floor with dirty water and no disinfectant.
I got annoyed and told them both to leave. Phoned the rep who came quickly to my family rescue, she was horrified to see what she had saw and compensated our family 150 pound for the embarrassment caused, she had us moved in to another room instantly and kept apologising in behalf of the tour operators Goldtrail.
I will never return to the Sindy apartments as it should not be rated as a 3 star rating! Anyone that's reading this I would advise you to think carefully before entering or even staying at this dump!! SOS.
Everytime my son and daughter went to the bar for cold drinks etc Hassan and Muzzi kept hold of their change and it was the same also when ordering food! The way I look at this is when your looking for drinks and food and your the paying customer the staff should be more than obliged to give you your change back without having to ask constantly for it!

| said: If I had a chance to move to turkey I would, this is thanks to the Sindy staff. Everything that they done for my family were on spot. It would not be the same there without Hassan, Ozcan, and the 3 Muzzy's and also Muzzy's daughter's.
With entertainment very good I wish I never left to go home back to England.
The cleanliness of the hotel has been very good. Also the food is amazing thanks to Engin the chef.
I have loved Sindy that much that I have been there 2 times already and I am going again in 2006.
If you need a good holiday with fun for all the family make sure you go to Sindy Apartments.

| said: This hotel is ideal for anyone family, single whatever.It's location is ideal for markets entertainment and a true taste of Turkey.
The staff are spot on and very friendly. When you arrive you will meet Ozcan, he looks quite like a maffia body guard but he will have you crying with laughter during your stay.
Then there is Ferrit who has the biggest smile any one could have. Hassen is the one who knows whats what so he is a good point of call for a fist time visitor.
However yet again our heart went to Sakin he is a star, unfortunately our case was not big enough to bring him back home.
The food here is fantastic. Finaly there are the 3 muzzies any problems let them know and it's sorted without any issue.Over all this hotel is top. WELL DONE GUYS

| said: We stayed in the Sindy Apartments which were 10 mins by dolmus from Marmaris. This was not really a family accommodation as the music was blasting out until late. The owner,who had only owned the property was really nice and helpful, however I cannot say the same for the person who was mainly left in charge, who was friendly at first, but when we had to cancel the Turkish night due to a change in dates by himself was none to pleased and chose to ignore us from then on. There was also guests staying there who were given free run of the bar etc. The cleaners did minimum work and bedding was thread bear and towels only replaced once during the week. The food in the accommodation was basic, but good.
We wanted a family holiday, but felt that this accommodation and location would be best suited to teenagers out for a good time.

| said: There were 2 family parties.4 adults and 6 kids aged 11-3. As I was a 1 bed apartment family, we were given room 34 which turned out to be the one under the supermarket (no views, no terrace, no balcany) but lots and lots of noise.
Every persons footsteps on the shops steps echoed in our room, then there was the music and the dragging in and out of stock at all hours of the morning. Then we requested a move. After alot of messing about I was given a room I had originally asked for oposite our other party.
If they try and give you a room on bottom floor, please refuse it or you will regret it
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, maids came in every day and wet the floor and folded the sheets on the beds. after day 8 we asked for sheets and towels to be changed as this hadn't been done.
We tried the food in the hotel, very nice, hot, lots of variety, can highly reccommend the steaks.
Hotel location wasnt too bad but even though music is stopped at midnight, Club Happy Days accross the road still had people shouting down a microphone at 2am playin bingo!!!. The music that came from happy days during the day was very loud too.
Staff were brilliant especially Footie(who has now left) Hasan,Carl,and bossman (the one with an english wife and 2 girls who hasnt been over here for very long) he was very nice and helpful.
I cant comment on the entertainment as we didnt stay in the hotel at night. Thinking about it, I would stay here again.

| said: Very basic, in fact the first room they gave us was appalling no way was I staying in that pig sty.
Second room in the new part of the complex slightly better but having two teenagers with us we were forced to sleep on a sofa bed which wasnt the most cofortable bed I have ever slept in.
We didnt eat in the bar area but I believe the food on offer was decent. The location was not to bad as the dolemush was fast and frequent to town centre.
Staff...the most of the staff were good but the manager of the complex just didnt know how to smile in fact rather ignorant. Hassan,Gino,Footie,Carl,Josh and young ramazan were all very pleasant but Mr.Happy go to lessons on how to smile.
No I would never pay good money to lie in grey sheets with holes in them also I have never in my travels had to buy my own loo rolls. Towels we had to ask for towels to be put in our room,never again.

The location was too far away from the main town and the beach.The bar staff were friendly but maybe others need to improve.
The entertainment needs looking at as it was the same each week.
It was our first time in Turkey and we were very disappointed with what we got for the amount we paid.

| said: We booked our holiday 12 months ago and what a fright we got when we got there the hotel was so far away from the main town.
When we got to our room the bathroom was full off water the shower had leaked,we went and told them and it was mopped up.
We fixed our bedroom light ourself as we waited so long for them to do it.Our shower tray leaked every time we had a shower.We had to shower in two parts first wash your hair then turn off shower to let some of the water our or you would flood the bathroom then wash your body then get out and the next person had to wait at least 15min before they could get on. The cleaner need lessons on how to clean because she seems not to know how to do it.
Entertainment what entertaintment ? When you had seen the turkish night once you did not need to see it again. Would you callbreak dancing turkish ?
We would not go again and I would tell anyone thinking of going to the Sindy, dont go.
Dont waste your money like we did.

| said: Friendly staff with the exception of the boss although, towards end of holiday when myself and another holiday maker arranged entertainment he seemed to enjoy it.
Cleaners really let the standards down. Beds not changed or towels had to ask for them myself, and if a quick mop with what water was left on it from previous rooms is cleaning, then keep it.
We used to eat out as there was no real entertainment but we did stay for the Turkish night and the food was the best we'd had. As a result we would eat there before going out.
Could do with varying what little entertainment they had especially for people who were on 2 weeks holidays.hotel staff hussain gino and carl were fantastic they made our holiday.
Standards of rooms would prevent my return sorry Hussain not your fault.

| said: As a pre-summer holiday we decided to make our first ever visit to Turkey.
Knowing very little about the country we were a little worried.
Upon our arrival it was a bit of a culture shock but this was soon dispelled by the staff at sandy making us feel very welcome.
Josh ( Sakin is his real name) Hassin and the others went out of their way to ensure we had a good time always on hand to advise and even teaching us a little Turkish, which proved very useful around the markets. Also to their credit they have kept in contact with us to see how we all are
The only comment that would be negative would be they need to up the cleanliness of the hotel but this does not mean the place is a hovel just could do with more attention from cleaning staff.
Quite simply the time spent at Sindy was well worth the money insofar as we are returning in October to spend two weeks and to show Josh how to have a proper birthday party.
