| said: I booked this hotel just 2 weeks before departure as a late deal.I have been to Icmeler before so knew the hotel was a basic hotel but didnt mind as it hsa a great location right in the centre of the.
Our room had a double and a single bed and both beds looked brand new.There was a small balcony with 2 chairs,which overlooked the Irish bar.Music was turned off at midnight so it didnt bother us.
The towels were changed every day and the sheets every other day by the lovely maid,Rose.
The reception staff and staff in the breakfast room were friendly and they allowed us to keep our room on for free until we left at 7pm.
The pool area is excellent for a small hotel and gets the sun all day with plenty of beds and shades.There is a bar serving drinks and ice cream.The lad who served there played Shania Twain over and over again every day so we went to the beach!
All our fellow guests were lovely and I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.I enjoyed the holiday much better than when I stayed at the 5star Aqua next door!

| said: It was our first time to stay at Private Hotel and was really pleased with the room, staff and the location. The maids cleaned the rooms on a daily basis and there was clean towels each day, the only problem was the room we stayed in was the shower was powerfull and went over the shower tray and flooded the bathroom floor. We will definitely be booking to stay there in 2009

| said: This was our first time in Icmeler and a 1 week holiday the Private hotel was recommended to us by Chapa travel we are booking again for 2 weeks in September. The hotel is in an excellent location staff are so friendly rooms cleaned daily also towels and sheets changed daily there was 1 bbq night the entertainment the hotel booked was first class

The Hotel Private is in a lovely location, though if you're looking for quiet nights in (which we weren't) it can be a little noisy from the bars around, having said that, everything gets turned down/off around midnight.
The staff at this hotel were probably the most friendly people I have ever met, they were brilliant. While we were over there our holiday company went bust, the hotel hadn't been paid for us staying there (even though we'd all paid our money to the holiday company in full) they could have thrown us out of the hotel at any time.........instead, they did everything in their power to put us at ease and told us not to worry, it was our holiday and that we should relax and enjoy!!
The rooms in the hotel were very clean and the maid came in every day, changed the towels and sheets and kept the room clean.
We didn't really bother much with breakfast, it was a continental buffet style affair, hard boiled eggs, jam, bread, olives, cerial etc......tea and coffee are availiable as well as fruit juice (lovely too) Throughout the day there are snacks that can be bought, very reasonable, from the snack bar at the side of the pool........there is a poolside bar and they will serve you for as long as you want to stay up.........though I must say it never got rowdy. The pool is quite deep though.
All in all, a brilliant place to stay, can't wait to go back.

| said: The hotel Private is exellent, very clean and friendly.
Nice breakfast, good lunchtime meals.
5 mins from the beach.
The pool is fantastic quite large, though very deep for non swimmers. There is a very small sectioned off pool for small kids.
The location is great, just near the Kontes exellent restaurant, and the Dreamboys, also 20 meters to canal and all the other bars etc.

| said: I had flown out to turkey to meet up with friends but due to a misunderstanding ended up with no accomodation. My friends were staying at the Private and upon meeting them I was told they had a spare bed in their room.
The hotel is spotless. The meals are nice but simple omelettes baked spuds and the like, but their is no shortage of good food. directly opposite the reception you can get a full English for a quid, numerous places do a t bone (very big one) with all the trimmings and drinks for about seven 7 quid.
Although there is no official entertainment JJ and the boys are the next best thing and we laughed and joked into the early hours every night at the pool bar.
We also made some very good friends many who stay at the Private every year, one family have been going for 18 years. and when we left they didn't charge one extra penny for my use of the spare bed, and it was changed with fresh linen and towels every day.
They seem to have a maid for each floor and she keeps the rooms spotless. As you would expect every room has air con which is charged extra( about £4 per day).
All in all I cant fault the Private Hotel and will definitely return..

| said: The private is one of the older hotels, but that said is in a good state of repair, new double glazing & furniture.
The location is superb, just a short walk to the beach and the canal is just outside to the left of reception.
Plenty of good bars & restaurants nearby.

Linen and towels changed daily, pool area was kept spotless, rooms were pretty basic but clean.
The location of the hotel is excellent don't be put off by the fact that you are facing pulse 8, and behind dream boys, they are lively bars but music is switched off at midnight every night. You have a 2 min walk to the beach, step out the door and you are amongst some excellent entertaining bars and restaurants.
Staff at the hotel are very friendly and will do anything to help you.
There was no entertainment at the hotel , but plenty to do and see in the resort.
Would definitely go to this hotel again as it is in a excellent position and I had no complaints.
A lot of people we met at hotel had been going for several years, so that speaks volumes!!

| said: I have satyed at the Private hotels for 3 years consecutive, it is in an excellent location and the staff at the hotel are fantastic.
The hotel has an excellent pool and poolside area, with a well stocked bar. The rooms were kept clean at all times and had everything you need, fresh bedding and towels daily.
Although there was no entertainment, there was always a great atmosphere at the pool bar where we met loads of people and had many of a late night full of laughs.
Going back to the Private this year again, can't wait. Stayed at only one other hotel before in Icmeler and we spent all our time at the Private, think that says it all!
