This hotel is the best we have ever stayed in and right on to the beach with 5 star all suites bungalows. The suite consisted of 4 rooms,

1. Entrance/living/dining room, fridge fully stocked and replenished daily (bottled coke/beer, sink unit and top, coffee table/chairs TV with over 35 channels mostly American.

2. Up 3 stairs to bedroom king bed

3.dressing room with all round mirrors sliding mirrored wardrobe, internal safe (free) a washbasin with sides.

4. toilet/bidet/bath/shower (big room).with a/c all free all day and night. Site is monstrous, there are approx 680 suites on site and 8 suites in each corner of each bungalow ground floor and 1st floor 4+4. Plus your own balcony.

The grounds are immaculate and properly over 300/400 acres with peacocks roaming about as they please, and if you are lucky, to see humming birds getting the nectar from the coconut trees, this was a fantastic bonus as we were on the first floor and right next to a palm tree, eye level and no more than 5ft away.

There are about 5 restaurants to choose from throughout the site but you have to book for each one in the main lobby each day, except the main one in the lobby where you just turn up. The food was outstanding in the main lobby restaurant so many choices that the worst moaners in history will have very little to moan about the food. The other restaurants were mostly al a cart but all excellent food.

The only complaint that we had was that most of the bar staff could not speak English and was a problem trying to get a simple lager or bacardi and coke as most only speak Spanish, very frustrating when you only want a drink but you had to try and find another bar staff who could speak English, apart from this the best place we have ever stayed in and the best and most relaxing holiday ever in 35 years.

The perfect place to unwind in 5 star comfort.

We stayed at the Bavaro All Suites resort and got married there with family and friends present. Our group totalled 14. Our experience was absolute enjoyment, from the wedding nuptials to our accomodations in a beautiful suite, to super-friendly staff, to an excellent variety of delicious foods. The grounds were beautiful, and I mean beautiful. Hibiscus and palms everywhere all over this huge resort. The lobby of this particular hotel is absolutely stunning! We enjoyed just lounging about evenings in the lobby, with cocktails made at the well-stocked bars.

We felt like royalty in our suite, all-marble interior, a great bathroom, kingsize bed, living area, our own balcony with a view of the ocean and a fully stocked bar. Housekeeping was extremely clean.

The food was fabulous! So much selection, the breads and cheeses were very good, the food was delicious at every restaurant on the resort! Sweet fresh fruits, mmmmm. Everyone in our group enjoyed great cuisine.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to "step up" the entertainment. It was not so hot, we entertained ourselves. The word "cheesy" comes to mind.

Other than that, I would give this resort a double thumbs up, it was by far the best and most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at!!
