| said: We stayed at this hotel for a week in July 2006. Officially its a C class hotel and I suppose from a pure technical basis it is. However as a guest you are made to feel 5 star at all times.
Its a typical simple Greek small hotel with simple furnishings and small simple rooms. However it is spotless and clean and very pleasing to look at with trailing flowering vines everywhere.
The pool is in a delightful shaded area that is ideal.
The location is superb - halfway point of the strip of bars and taverna's in Kamari and directly facing the beach and the sea.
Being fussy I suppose the food isn't much to write home about - breakfast is to use the Greek word 'spartan' being bread and jam, tea and coffee and cheese and ham. But its fresh and plentiful and I didn't expect anything else.
The staff are just absolutely outstanding - nothing is too much trouble. The Cobra Bar which is attached to the hotel is about the friendliest bar in the world. The staff make the place, they really do.
There is no entertainment to speak of but then there isn't in any of Kamaris hotels and bars really. If loud karaoke, party games courtesy of the hotel comperes and butlins style entertainment for the kids is what u seek this isn't for you.
If you want a relaxing location, a clean comfortable hotel with a peaceful shade pool facing the beach and with friendly staff then look no further.
