| said: Things have clearly improved since (last review)2005. The place was spotless and tidy. We had two '5 bed rooms' although each was comfortable for 4. Plenty of space for the six of us. Equipment was basic but functional. Nice bathroom, plenty of hot water at any time. The postioning of the place, in relation to the resort is brilliant, 2 minutes to the pebbly beach, 2-7 minutes to all shops, bars and the harbour. Now the downside. We had two visitsThe place is in desperate need of a) double glazing & Air conditioning. The road next to the place is like the M1 of the island (it is the main coastal road)the noise is incredible, hence the need for double glazing. The air con is obviously a must for the normal summer Corfu temperatures. Sort this and you'll be fine otherwise take plenty of Ouzo to help rest your weary head! Key note to Manos / Mytravel - you charge the same to go to this place as your other 2/3 star places in Kassiopi, so you should pay the owners enough to get up to the same standard as those or drop the price accordingly!

| said: On arrival, found kitchen to be tatty, the kids room was a bed and camp bed, with mould / rising damp up the wall, the smell of the damp was overpowering and you has to open the small back window, which lets in the mosquittoes. The main bedroom was on the road side, which during the week, was as busy as the M4, mainly with quarry trucks.
If the place was tarted up, double glazing fitted, air conditioning installed and a bunk bed put in the kids room and the damp sorted out, then would be nice.
The bathroom was basic with limited hot water.
When it rained (we were there late sept / early oct), the apartment was very cold with no form of heating, other than lighting the hobs on the gas stove.

| said: We where expecting basic accommodation having been to Greece before but this was a joke. The apartment was damp, dirt and dangerous. There was electric sockets hanging off the walls, 1 smoked when you plugged something in. The kettle didn't work, the kitchen was a health hazard. The bathroom was infested with ants, they were quite entertaining to watch sitting on the loo!
There was no sign of any staff to help. My 3 year wet the bed, after asking for clean sheets we waited 4 nights for them. The 4th bed was a camp bed that would have been ok for a night but not for 2 weeks.
The holiday was my worst ever, the kids were miserable and so were we. I have never complained about a holiday before as I'm quite easy going and I don't have high expectations but I did on this occasion and did receive compensation.
It's a shame cos the location is ideal and the resort is lovely. The apartments could be very nice but unfortunately they aren't!
