| said: We stayed at the Zodiac apartments for 1 week during the Spring Bank school holidays. We had a fantastic time and would stay at these apartments again. The view from our balcony was breathtaking - the sea and a small beach/rockpool area in front and to the side Es Cana main beach and some restaurnants.
Our one bedroomed apartment was very spacious and clean with plenty of self catering facilities - not that we cooked much as we ate out for most of our meals. The maids were very friendly and cleaned our room almost every day and we were given clean bedding and towels too.
The pool was very big - but wasn't very warm whilst we were there. There was a life guard on duty every day whom was quite strict with the children - no inflatables or pool toys allowed and definately no running around or messing about whilst in and around the pool area!
There were plenty of sun beds available - although the apartments at that time were not full - the life guard had the beds piled up in a corner and you just told him how many you wanted and where you wanted them and he was happy to oblige.
The snack bar had quite a good menu and the food was quite reasonabaly priced. We ate there a couple of times and we all enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If your a wine drinker then you may want to take your own glass as a glass of wine is served to you in a glass the size of a thimble - one gulp and its gone!
The entertainment on a night time was ok - bingo every night and most nights either a singer or some kind of show - it was a parrot show one night which was quite entertaining. However, our children were 15 and 13 whilst we stayed there and got a little bored.
Would definately stay at the Zodiac apartments again as they are in a fab location!

| said: Although it was the last week of the season, we had a lovely holiday at Zodiac apartments.
Staff were polite, friendly and cheerful. The room was clean, comfortable (although the light bulbs were a little dim).
The view from our room was priceless, and the sound of the waves...lovely.
Food was good, ....and on arrival there was a complimentary bottle of white wine with a welcome note.
I would certainly go back to the Zodiac, it is close to the sea, the beach, the entertainments, the water taxi......
T
he reception office is in a separate building next door, but the staff were always helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Can't wait to go back.....perhaps when there are more things open in resort, earlier in the season.

| said: Hotel was great, it's very basic but has everything you need and is near to everything in Es Cana including the water taxi stop and little train.
Our room was cleaned most days but the floor always seemed gritty to me. The room had all the SC things you need - toaster, kettle etc.
Most of the staff were lovely, especially Mathius. Others were a bit moody but everyone worked really hard and such long hours so I guess you can't blame them!
They had entertainment most nights and it was usually pretty good - singers etc - and there was bingo and happy hours sometimes which was OK.
I thought the food was a bit pricier than most other places in Es Cana so we only ate there once. You do get a 5% discount on food if you're a guest but it makes little difference to be honest.
The private beach was a bit ropey, it reminded me of the sand you find on a building site and there was often loads of ciggerette butts around which was gross. The lovely rocks to the right of the beach were gorge though.
The pool is lovely and big, clean with loads of sun beds. You do have to pay for them though (1.20 per half day) but it's no big deal.
We had a balcony overlooking the sea which was brilliant! It's such a lovely view and the sund is so relaxing. Try and get up at about 7-7.30am to see the sun rise as it's magnificent!

| said: We stopped in the Zodiac. This was our silver wedding present from my mum and dad, I had not travelled abroad before.
The room was clean with every thing you needed, the maids came every day and cleaned the room, we found they spoke little english but where very polite and helpful. However, when we had a problem with the bedding, it was put right at once.
The food was good but not too cheap but if they didnt have what you asked for they did their best to accommodate you.
You didnt have to look too far to find great eating places that offered good value for money. The staff also advised you of great places to go, lots of information available at reception, happy smiling faces all helped to make it a great week.
It was that good we are going back this year for the third time and taking some friends with us!
