Supposed to be 4 star hardly a 2 star completely different from description by holiday company. AI should have been until midnight stopped at 11:00 then the drinks were expensive. Food was ok but repetitive, no entertainment, no pool bar for first week, no roof top terrace, no al a carte. Botanic gardens run down, no soup kitchen at midnight, and surprise surprise no rep,

Pool was ok and the waiters were friendly and polite except for one, I have been to Belek for AI it was superb the Marinem have no concept of AI the only good thing was the beach and the fact we booked out and stayed in Kalkan for 4 days which was great.

The only time I would go back if they paid me.

Marinem Patara Hotel, to say this hotel is clean is an understatement. Your room is cleaned daily and towels exchanged. Linen is changed every third day.

The rooms are very basic the beds are made of chip board so watch you do not catch yourself. Lighting is somewhat inadequate if you wish to read when it’s dark out and the light on the dressing table (make up light) is so under power it’s useless.

The lounge is very colonial and very pleasant to sit and chat and have a drink in.

Pool now this is the cleanest pool I have ever seen whilst holidaying, and the water is checked daily. Shower at pool side, a bar with very friendly staff.

Meals, Breakfast is ok continental style and a good selection always boiled eggs at times scrambled and fried. But do not expect them to be hot.

Dinner this is the one failing at this hotel.
Starters are very good lots of choices and soup of the day is always available.

Main course in a word Yuk. At times it was very difficult to work out what the food on offer was?

Desert lots of good choices and always fresh fruit available. If you expect hot food you will be disappointed.

If you are a burger fan you will not like the ones available in this hotel.

Turkish bath and Massage, now this is one area this hotel excels, a wonderful experience with very experienced staff.
They are able to help if you have a stiff neck or back.

The drinks are over priced, we bought beer, wine and water from the village.

The entertainment at the hotel was terrible. They had no idea how to entertain guest of mixed ages. It was a group of silly young kids playing the music they enjoyed, when request were made they were ignored

Despite slight unwillingnesss to do so, the Hotel can upgrade you to full about for about (£20)25tlr per day. They would prefer (obviously) if you did it for the entirety of your stay but you would lose money when on excursions etc.

If you intend to drink more than 4 drinks a day each, then this is the best way to save money. Drinks are expensive on a B&B, H/B basis.

Also worth doing it on a Patara beach visit, otherwise you have to pay for everything incl sunbed, parasol & water....

An reasonably good basic hotel, can be quiet in the evening despite the entertainment teams best efforts. Ok for the young ones, nothing for the oldies.....

Kalkan best to visit for evenings, although some nice bars in Patara, especially the "Medusa". Excellent music and atmosphere. The owner is a true "gent".
