The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are really spacious, have stayed in different rooms in this hotel over the past 3 years and all were excellent. Really cosy in the winter are the big open fires in the lounge, the smell of turf burning! Lovely! Very friendly atmosphere in this Hotel.

Breakfast was great; cereal, toast, juice, bacon egg, sausage, potato and soda bread etc. Bar food available during the day as well as an excellent restaurant for evening meals.

The location, Bunbeg, in Donegal, is a very quiet one. The hotel itself has live entertainment and there's also a nightclub at the hotel.(We never heard any noise from this, although it was busy at the w/end) Apart from that there is one other bar closeby, a few shops etc.

Surrounding areas are both Irish and English speaking. Just a stones throw from the beach,(featured on Enya's album covers where there is an old shipwreck)... although with the weather in Ireland you're more likely to need winter woolies than a bikini!

Staff at the hotel were always helpful. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a peaceful break or those who want to explore the Gaeltacht area.
