| said: There were four thefts that occured in this hotel on our second weeks holiday. The owners declined to inform any of the guests that money was being taken out of their safety deposit boxes.
I feel we should have been told so that we could have been more vigilant. The staff were very good but the management were rather over powering. I would not stay there again.

| said: The Hotel is in a perfect position away from the front but only by a couple of hundred yards so you have very good access to all the resturants and the beach but are far enough away that the hotel is very quiet.
We did not experience any noise from any neighbouring hotels either.
It Is a very pretty hotel and the staff there could not do enough to make our stay there very enjoyable it is just a shame that the management did not take the same view.
The hotel is sold as adults only (beware the manager does allow children to stay here).

| said: We had looked forward to revisiting this hotel, but it had changed ownership in the last 3 years.
Instead of feeling welcome, we felt 'tolerated' as we did not spend lots of time at the bar. The rooms are compact but comfortable. Our room was not cleaned on one occasion but decorated, beautifully, on another!!???
The prices at the bar were higher than in the beach front bars and not consistent - I was charged 9ytl for 1 large and 1 small beer, but only 4ytl for 1 large beer? I also was not offered the 1 ytl change from the 10 I proffered in the first instance.
Laundry bags were placed in the room and I made the mistake of using one part way throught the first week - I also committed the cardinal sin of not asking the price first (as a veteran Turkey visitor I should have known to do so) and for 19 items (including 8 pairs of knickers and 1 hankie) I was charged 50 ytl = £21.50!!! Our rep told us to check and sign our bar bills as there had been some 'confusion' over unpaid bills appearing on people's departure.
The breakfast was not buffet style and you only found out what was on offer by asking other guests as the staff offered Turkish breakfast (which we usually have anyway) or eggs - no mention of omlettes, melon, pancakes etc. unless you asked.
I loved this hotel the first time I visted, but will not be going back.

| said: The ORION is a compact b&b hotel with a calm relaxed atmosphere. Apart from having a room situated near to the outside bar/swimmingpool where it was a little noisy into the early hours (ear plugs recommended) we felt that the hotel would benefit customers if a fridge was in the room for water to be kept in ,(nothing worse than warm water when thirsty).
Nice Turkish breakfast with scrambled/fried/boiled eggs if required yoghurt& honey plenty of coffee & toast.. staff were very polite & helpful.. no problems about keeping your room if you have a bad flight time home (£5) about 3 hundred metres to beach& resaurants.
We would not visit Bitez again so would not use the Orion again.
