| said: We stayed in Palm Island for our silver wedding anniversary. We had been looking for something really special, and we found it here.
From the moment we stepped off the boat and onto the quay we felt that we had walked into another world where time didn't matter, and our happiness was all that concerned the staff.
The location is simply beautiful, with pure white sandy beaches, and accommodation that was sympathetic to the scenery. Our Palm View room faced the sea, with a large bedroom, and separate bathroom with walk in shower and the biggest bath I have ever seen.
The food was freshly prepared for you from a different menu each lunchtime and evening. We never had a disappointing meal.
The staff were excellent from the Manager to the beach cleaners. They were all extremely proud of their work, and genuinely keen to serve you. They had just the right mix of concern, without intruding into your evening.
The entertainment was rather muted and finished very early. This seemed to suit most people as we had all become 'very laid back' during our stay. The exception was the barbeque night with steel band which was brilliant.
We had intended to do several trips from the island, snorkeling in Tobago Cays and an island hopping cruise, but we were so totally chilled by this place that we didn't do anything, or go anywhere.
We hired a private bay with picnic on one day which was wonderful - our lunch was brought out to us and we didn't see another soul. I think this has become quite popular as we only had the choice of one day out of our week there.
It really was a little peace of paradise on earth and we would go back in a heartbeat.

| said: My wife and I have just returned from Palm Island and cannot praise it enough.
Starting with the efficiency of being met at the dock upon arrival by the manager and staff (with cocktails) to being quickly shown to our room without the hassle of filling in forms was just great after a long flight.
We had a Palmview room which was very large with a large bathroom with separate large shower room. And especially pleasing for me was a stocked fridge (restocked daily), which was just wonderful for me as I don't drink tea or coffee (at other all inclusive resorts we've been to in the Caribbean I would have to wait for the restaurant or bar to open before i could get a drink). The room was also clean and well cared for by the excellent maids, and the pillow cards were a lovely touch.
The restaurants and bar were excellent with a great menu (changed daily) with excellent presentation and service.
All in all, a wonderful experience. Everything was better than we were expecting and all the members of staff were so friendly, smiling and efficient they are a real credit to Palm Island.
Unfortunately due to technical problems with our flight from Union Island to Barbados and getting through immigration there we just missed our Virgin flight back to London. Fortunately after getting very little help from Virgin holidays a lady called Claudette Levi-Farnum the Palm Island representative in Barbados bacame involved and immediately sorted out accomodation and transfers for our 2 day wait for the next Virgin flight home. We cannot thank Claudette and Elite Island Resorts enough for their prompt and efficient help in our predicament.
So once again if you need a wonderful resort with excellent service and staff go to Palm Island. You won't regret it.
