The rooms are a bit small although some of our party had a family room which was huge and had two bathrooms. The dividing walls are a bit thin.
The hotel and grounds are spotless, the maids are very good.
The dining arrangements and food was quite poor.Firstly, meal times - 7-00am to 9-00 am for breakfast and 7-00pm to 9-00 pm for dinner. This meant that almost everyone would be in the dining room at roughly the same time and the staff could not cope. Tables are laid with one knife and one fork per person, if you are having more than one course you either have to re-use the same one (disgusting) or find some more (not easy), also the table cloths were not changed. If the table you managed to find had already been used then you ate with the stains, crumbs etc of whoever had used it.
Now the food, breakfast was ok, but at night if you like to eat say after 8-00pm, the food was luke warm at best or cold, that is if there was any left, the most popular dishes running out. In addition to the buffet there is a barbeque section around the pool each night, the chefs serve you with whatever they have cooked, however, unless you are persistent they will give you the worst cuts with a bit of skin and bone thrown in, saving the best bits for, who ?
A word on the hotel staff, very nice people, but poorly trained and over worked. One lady I spoke to said that she had never before been to a hotel (let alone one pretending to have 5 stars) where the waiters think that they should have priority over the paying guest and expect you to stand aside for them to pass.
Location is fine, directly on a nice sandy beach, bars and shops within easy walking distance, Side about 10 mins in a taxi for 8 euro, some taxis can carry 6.
Entertainment was all in German - no further comment.
My conclusion - it was OK, but never again.

| said: Spent one week at this hotel, although we did enjoy it, one week was enough. As previous post states the hotel caters mainly to a German clientèle which meant the vast majority of the staff could not understand any English.
The hotel was very clean, we had a family room which was spacious, comfortable and had excellent air conditioning.
Food was awful, luke warm and all the salads appeared to be smothered in mayonnaise. The only reason I'v given it a 3 is that every evening they cleared part of the pool area and had a huge Bar-b-Q where you could always find something tasty.
Pool area looked nice enough, but could get quite noisy. We chose to spend our days sunbathing in the lovely garden area or on the beach which was spotlessly clean and had plenty of loungers.
Security presence in the hotel and private beach meant you could enjoy the facilities without being pestered/ harassed with touts or vendors.

| said: Hotel didn't cater for the British Tourist.
Slides in the fun pool were only operating 2hrs per day (not long enough)
Non smoking area in resturant (tables were never laid properly)
Entertainment was of a poor quality
Hotel was clean and lounge area was very comfortable, rooms were a bit on the small side but adequate.
Plenty of food and drink
The private section of the beach was clean
