My husband and I stayed here overnight for our early morning flight the following morning. Included in our booking was 15 days free parking.

We had booked day before luggage check in with our tour operator and on arriving at the Hilton we informed the reception. We were immediately taken to the airport to check in our luggage and told to phone the hotel as soon as we were ready to return. Both transfers were done quickly.

On returning to the hotel we went up to our room which was on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and well equipped for the overnight visitor. We had a double bed, television, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board was provided along with a trouser press. There was internet facility and a game consule (a charge is made for these).

The bathroom was large with bath, shower, toilet and basin. Shampoo, conditioner and bath creme is provided.

We didn't use any of the hotels facilities nor did we eat or drink in the hotel. A minibar was in the room but the prices were ridiculous - £6.20 for a miniture short drink and a small can of coke £2.25!!!

On returning to Manchester aiport we rang the number of the car parking service used by the Hilton. We didn't wait long for the people carrier to collect us from the airport and return us to our car (straight to the car itself) which was back in the Hilton car park.

As a stop over for an early flight then the Hilton is well placed and the transfers are excellent, however my advice would be to take some snacks/drinks with you for your overnight stay.
