| said: Just come back from this hotel and I still can’t believe what some people write!
This hotel is excellent. The food can’t be faulted I certainly didn’t see greasy food and chicken curry everyday! We saw good quality food with a wide variety constantly stocked up and served to you by hard working polite waiters/waitresses. Snacks between breakfast and lunch are an extension of breakfast so you don’t have to get up early for breakfast. Hot meals, Cold salads, Deserts- If people can complain about the food on offer in this restaurant I’d like to know where they have stayed before. Just one more thing regarding the restaurant there was 7 different food counters serving a variety of food such as an Italian counter, children counter, desert and salad counter and a food counter serving a different roast every day amongst others.
The Bar staff were polite and served you fast and efficiently, the drinks on the All in was Strongbow, San Miguel and Cocktails, the local spirits were drinkable (the best I’ve drank in a hotel). Plenty of space in this hotel to find a seat and relax, adults only bars, TV areas, Smoking areas inside and out.
The rooftop terrace for adults only is a perfect sun trap with its own bar and relaxing atmosphere.
I didn’t take any children on this holiday but wish i did the facilities looked excellent for them- games room and a nonstop entertainments team.
The entertainment in the hotel was excellent for a hotel, providing professional shows and shows by the entertainments team twice nightly.
The rooms were large and clean and a pleasure to stay in.
I did hear people saying how they thought the hotel had let itself go over the years, In my opinion this hotel is still very worthy of its 4 star status, If you can get a hotel like this for the low price we paid for the facilities on offer then there’s going to be lots of different types of people there to and so there should be-we all have the right to go on holiday. I’m just gobsmacked by the reports of others who must think otherwise.
Loads more quality facilities to mention, there is a reason why this hotel still wins top awards and I would definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone.
I appreciate some things may be different at different times of the year but the food, drinks and entertainment won’t change. Compare this hotel to the 4 star DYNASTIC PARK then this hotel is a 10 star. (have a look round for yourselves if you don’t believe me)

on arrival one particular reception staff was very arrogant and rude when we complained that our requests had not been met we were on 10th floor with a 2yr old...
during our stay someone soiled in the main pool area 4 times in the space of a week...hotel did nothing until the fourth time and they had recieved hundreds complaints..they did'nt change pool water..took no pool water samples for testings just added chemicals each time...
tiles were falling off the sides of the building right outside childrens area and they only cornered it off for half a day...
did'nt let it spoil our holiday tho the enterainment staff made up for this disapointment... they were excellent and very friendly...
they food was very good and they hotel rooms are very big and clean...we still had a great time and i would go back but intend on putting a copmlaint in writing to my travel operator...dont know what happened this year like a say have stayed there twice before and could'nt fault it...

| said: Stayed at the FO for the second time and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
The food was superb as it was last year and although it was pretty similar to last year, this suited us fine because my wife's same bread & custard was there at breakfast plus her cakes she liked were there each mealtime too.
The rooms were clean and the bars, restaurant were on the whole clean. The restaurant and bars did seem a lot busier this year than when we went last year and tables took longer to be cleared, but the staff work non-stop and cannot be faulted.
Aaahhh the lifts. A popular topic for this hotel. Yes they can be a pain, but the biggest moaners about them whilst we were there, were the main contributors to their downfall. I will explain. If you press the up and down arrows, the lift system thinks it needs to send 2 lifts to that particular floor, one to go up and one to go down. It isn't to know that someone has walked up and pressed both buttons 56 times. This causes lifts to stop at floors that it doesn't need to stop at, and also takes longer to travel from top to bottom.
There were also a heck of a lot more kids than when we were last there. (I didnt realise it was 2 weeks off for Whit this year) but on the whole they were OK, although some were left to go up and down in the lifts on there own despite a sign at the bottom stating that kids cards would be removed if they were travelling in the lifts alone. (Think this was put up as a deterrent rather than actually doing it.)
A few noisy nights with a rowdy hen party next door coming in late and shouting off the balcony but nothing major.
All minor issues and I always think a lot of people let things bother them too much, ie you have loads of people and 6 lifts = sometimes you will have to wait.
Now to the entertainment. To be honest we only watched a couple of the shows because we had seen them all last year and there was only a couple different. Combined with the fact that Euro 2008 had started during our 2nd week.
One thing I do find strange is that they still shut the bar on the rooftop between 12-1230. This is just asking for trouble if you have a group of lads up there and so it proved because someone broke the lock and started serving themselves and everyone else. It baffles me why they can't get someone else to cover the half hour lunch break.
Room staff are great and we even had the same maid as we had last year.
We are already looking at going back next year, probably September.

| said: We visited here for the last week of May and 1st week in June. We had done lots of research before booking this hotel to make sure we got the right one. We had asked on 3 e.mails for a low level floor, however we got a room on 24th floor (doesn't get any higher). This was a nightmare with lifts and we did end up walking down stairs most days and on one day we even managed to walk up the 24 floors!
The hotel is a lovely hotel but our problem was with the holidaymakers in it. It really made us ashamed to be British. The number of unruly kids with parents sat in the bar getting drunk was astonishing. Kids were supposed to be with an adult at all times but this was not the case.
We were disappointed with the food in that they did nothing for kids. On 2 days over a fortnight they did smiley faces but that was it. My son lived off rolls every day and my daughter, chips. A family hotel should put more on for the kids.
Some of the sights we saw where young kids were allowed by their parents to go and get there own food was a sight to be believed. One boy put on 6 or 7 ladels of gravy over his dinner, pouring it all over the floor and tipping half his dinner in the gravy container, before walking away pouring it all over the floor as he went. He was about 5 or 6 years old. Another morbidly obese girl (of which the number of obese kids was amazing) went to the pudding counter. She had a huge plate of mousse. She proceeded to lick it from the plate while at the counter finally finishing by licking the plate clean. She put the plate back down in the pile of clean plates before helping herself to some other pudding.
Outside entertainment went on til around 1am and to get the kids to sleep we all had to resort to earplugs. On one occasion at 2.30am we were woken by a group of children running down our corridor and banging loudly on our door and running off laughing. Where were the parents?
The excellent reviews written must be by the parents of these kids. Anybody with standards would be appalled by the behaviour of the people who stay here. Perhaps we were just unlucky.
It really made us feel that hotel holidays are not for us and we will get private accommodation in future.

| said: rooms - very clean reasonable size balcony overlooking pool, nice size as well.
food - huge choice of food not always hot and not as well cooked as i would have liked,i think meat dishes were very cheap cuts of meat as most were tasteless. also meal times were very noisey with small children running round with their hands in salad dishes and bread trays.
pool - fantastic 3 pools lovely outlay with kids section and playground. pool had bar serving drinks and snacks
drinks - localy produced drinks as part of all inclusive tasted fine to me and measures were good branded drinks were about £3.50
entertainment - loads of daily programmes which wer good, but evening entertainment was pretty dull if you are used to seeing what usually goes on in benidorm youll be disapointed with hotel shows
overall - i had a great time but would not revisit this hotel as it was like being at an unrully nursery for under 5"s. too far back from nightlife for my liking although you could get a taxi for about 6 euro. no problems from stag or hen partys as some have previously said, hotel was on the whole good but not as great as some reviews have previously said. there are others just as good.

| said: This Hotel gets some of the best ratings in Benidorm and there are certainly areas where this Hotel does score very highly indeed. But would i stay there again? NO!...The reason for this is that from a personal point of view, the Hotel is just far too large for us. Far too Noisy. Is taking in quite a large number of Stag and Hen Parties. The lift situation is very bad, we were on the 12th Floor despite having emailed the hotel in advance to ask for a low floor room. The Food here however is definately the Best Hotel Food that i've had in Benidorm. Theres an incredible amount of choice. And the food is of very high quality. The theme evenings are very good. The Mexican one, with a Singer!, on our last night being our favourite! There was usually a carvery on offer as well as countless other dishes, and the roast beef we had from this, on two evenings was superb. Trust me, you will never need to go hungry here!! However what should be a nice relaxing experience enjoying the meals was constantly spoilt by the unbelievable noise in the dining room. Kids running amok everywhere, you needed eyes in the back of your head carrying plates of food around in case you tripped over children or they ran into you. Plates were being dropped at every mealtime as the staff tried there best hurrying around cleaning up the tables..which they do a good job of! It was like eating in a school dining room! Such a shame because as i say, the food is excellent! The Drinks on the other hand are simply awfull!!...We tried Red Wine, White Wine, Beer and Brandy, all of them equally as bad as the other, very, very poor quality indeed!!..We stuck to water in the end, and did our drinking outside of the hotel! We did not stay to watch the Entertainment at night as we prefer to make our own choices of the vast amount of entertainment Benidorm has to offer. But judging by the acts named to appear there during our visit, i would have no doubts that the Entertainment is pretty good quality really. Quite a number of those appearing, were also on at various venues around Benidorm!. The Hotel is certainly clean enough, and the staff in the main were friendly. Theres always a life guard on duty at the pool. The weather was'nt very good on our visit, so not too much opportunity of lounging aroung the pool, but from what we did see, again it was rather noisy with kids and their parents running around squirting each other with those large water guns. We would probably have used the rooftop terrace, which is adult only, if the weather had been better. We spoke to several people whilst we were there who also were not very happy with the noise situation, and the encouraging of Stag and Hen bookings. Most of these had taken several holidays previously at this Hotel, but said they didnt like the way it was going and that they would look elsewhere in future!. We booked this hotel mainly because we got it at a good price, and wanted to try it because of many positive comments and the recomendation of others. We knew it was a large hotel of course before we booked, but we simply did'nt antisipate the level of noise there would be present! We thought with it being during a relatively quite month, that there would'nt be as many children there as there was too! Despite all the things that were not ideal for us, we still had a pleasant break and are glad that we "gave the hotel a try". However it has made us realise that we do prefer smaller hotels, more adult orientated, with more of a personal service, and have booked accordingly for our next two Benidorm Breaks!

| said: Stayed here for two weeks, 3rd to 17th May. We found the hotel to be very good value for money. Staff on the whole were very friendly, although one barman was always a little bit grumpy. The lifts never caused a problem for us. We were on the 21st floor so whenever the lifts reached us they were never full, but they did fill up by the time we got down to the middle and low floors, which meant people had to wait for another one. Just a personal opinion, but I would say that the higher the floor the better.
Couldn't fault the food, with plenty of choice for all, but the dining room was a bit manic at times.
Didn't really experience any of the entertainment as we went out most evenings, but from what we were told it was very good.
Ther were a number of stag/hen parties there, but they didnt appear to cause any problems.
The only negative from our point of view was the number of older guests moaning about the number of kids, who,as far as we were concerned, were behaving normally as most kids do. We are grandparents in our 50's who travelled without kids, and realised before we went that this is just the type of hotel which would have a large number of young families in it. Perhaps having young grandkids always visiting us, we maybe have a higher tolerance level than some others so could I just say that if you want to avoid the kids, then go out of season and please bear in mind that this is not an "adults only" hotel.
Would we visit again?.... definately!

Hotel staff very friendly and nothing is too much bother for them. Entertainments team work extremely hard and put on excellent shows every night along with day time activities. | said: Although we had stayed at other all inclusive hotels through out the Costa's this was probably all in all the best so far.
The strongest point we felt was the food, with a good selection of well prepared dishes.
At the other end of the scale was the drinks on offer.
The beer was dreadful, very flat and week with the spirits & wines of real cheap quality.
We are all only moderate drinkers but on several occasions we awoke with hang overs after a night of sobriety. But to the hotels credit you can have as much or as little as you choose of what you want.
The hotel employees a very large entertainment team, who work hard putting on their own in house shows based around musicals besides their daytime activities of organising games and quizzes.
There were several visiting acts of reasonable quality in the large entertainment lounge but always a queue at the bar should you choose to drink whilst in there.
Also, there is a piano bar where the the piano player/singer was talented & quite entertaining. This bar got full most nights so it was difficult to find a good seat away from the smoking area.
This hotel has three pools, two outside of which one is on the 25th floor complete with bar and an indoor pool.
The bedrooms are above average in size, and as there was only two of us per room there was space to spare and loads of wardrobe space for the clothes.
To summarize, we paid a total of £310 each for a weeks stay, but I would not want to pay a great deal more, as this hotel is huge and lacks that cozy friendly atmosphere you get with smaller hotels.

| said: My wife and I spent an excellent seven nights at the Flamingo Oasis from the 25th March 2008.
We return to this hotel, visiting six or seven times a year, it is fantastic.
As always there were no complaints, everything was perfect, if you are going on holiday to Benidorm this hotel is a must.
To cap it all the weather was warm and sunny, it was good enough to spend four hours a day around the pool or on the adults only roof terrace.
I can highly recommend this hotel to all age groups.
Looking forward to our next holiday and again it will be the FLAMINGO OASIS.
If you are looking for somewhere to spend Christmas or the New Year, again I can only recommend this hotel, if you have children, every child will receive a Christmas present from Santa Claus, not just a goody bag, last year each child was given a two wheeled scooter, which was of a good quality!!!

There is entertainment during the day for all ages and the entertainment in the evenings is first class shows etc. The staff are all very friendly and cant do enough for you. The food is unbelievable in quality and quantity. Sunday Lunch was Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding followed by Apple Pie and custard. If you do not fancy this, of course there is plenty of other food to choose from. All drinks you could think of is included on the all inclusive ie Bailys Irish Cream, even Strongbow along with many other drinks, and each day a different cocktail was on offer. You can also get a bottle of wine and take it to your room. On theme nights you are given a glass of champ. on entrance to dinning room. I have been in many hotels in benidorm, but this is by far the best and yes I am returning very soon as it gives you a complete holiday.

The food was excellent and all our party thought it was some of the best hotel food we had ever had. Fantastic service from all the staff in the hotel.
The all inclusive drinks are from 10 in the morning until midnight. Food is available for most of the day until about 10 pm.
The Bar staff are great and the measures are generous.
Loads of bars shops and the outdoor market are all on the doorstep. The old town is about a mile away but taxis are pretty cheap.
The only negative was we were thought that the cost for hire of the safety box in the room was very expensive at 17 Euros £15 for 7 days.

| said: The Flamingo Oasis is one of the best I have ever stayed in, from the spacious rooms to the friendliness of the staff. The food is so varied and of excellent quality. Frequent carveries for lunch and dinner to curries and everything in between they even had steak and kidney pie and proper cheese. That does not mean that people wanting to eat more local dishes are left out. The evening entertainment is said to be the best hotel entertainment in Benidorm. We saw Grease, Mamma Mia, Starlight Express and this week they were starting a Dirty Dancing show. They had artists in the Piano Bar and there was always a cabaret after the shows. The animation team are all stars.
A minor quibble I think a small fridge would be a great bonus in the heat of summer but as it was Feb it was ok for us. Some people were complaining about the coldness of the indoor pool but we didn’t try it.
The drinks were fine, spirits were not watered and everything was flowing. There was no restriction on the amount of drinks you could get.
Despite two coaches arriving together check in was swift with temp passes and get your proper pass later. Smoking areas were in the Veranda Bar, The Piano bar and the Fiesta nightclub, they were at the back and well ventilated so as not to bother those who do not like it. The roof terrace is open 11-5pm at the moment and it is lovely up there and the AI applies there as well at the moment. Graet hotel will return next time we go there.

Having 2 teenagers all inc have got expensive so not had one for a few years we have just taken our youngest and left our teens at home.
However hubby found brill price for 4 of us so decided to take 18 year o;d for his birthday. What can I say have stayed in at least 20 all inc all over the globe and this one was definatley the best.
Yes if I wanted to nit pick there were a couple of things 'diffrent'they not all the same. I must say though the hotel entertainers were the best we have EVER seen they dance brill and very well rehearsed and work really hard. My fav bit which I have never come across before was if you were in the family bar watching a show they announced that the next act wasn't suitable for children .So would you take them to the mini club .They look after them so you can watch. What a fantastic thing.I have missed many shows in the past because of the kids and I was really impressed with this AND especially as its winter and they tsill had a mini club. Most other hotels would of just put the act on in the adults only bar.
Really top class hotel so good going back for easter.Thats a first I have never done same hotel twice love it.

Well what can I say, this is the finest hotel in Benidorm, The staff, espectially Miguel and his team on the reception are impeccable.
The food is top notch, plenty of well prepared, well presented fayre for all tastes.
The rooms are large and comfortable.
The all inclusive drinks are excellent with no watering down, no long queues.

The food was excellent, there never seemed to be a queue at the bars and the drinks very large and you could ask for a bottle of wine instead of keep going back for a glass.
The entertainment is good and the kids club keeps the children busy.
The hotel is set away from the main bars but only a short walk if that was what you want. It is close to the attractions some of which you can walk to.
The show at the Benidorm Palace only 5 mins walk from the hotel is well worth a visit.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back in the summer.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The room we got was on the 14th floor overlooking the pool and it was cleaned everyday, it was quite large and there was plenty of wardrobe space.
The food was really good and there was plenty of choice, the gammon steaks were superb. If you missed breakfast you could go for snacks after 10.30 and you could still get eggs, bacon and sausages.
The all-inclusive drinks were really good and they gave you big measures, especially the baileys. It was San Miguel on draught and also strongbow cider. You could ask for a bottle of wine instead of getting it by the glass which was much more convenient which meant you did not have to go to the bar as much.
The entertainment was good, they had a "grease" show and also "we will rock you"based on Queen songs.
The staff were very friendly and always willing to help.
There are a couple of good pubs with entertainment across the road from the hotel which you can go to when the all-inclusive closes.
We will definitely be going back to this hotel again.

All inclusive bar was good also, and I thought that the drinks were fine, didn't seem weak at all.Snacks outside of mealtimes were more or less a continuation of the meals,ie from 10-30am it was all breakfast stuff, but in my opinion there was much more on offer than most other AI we have stayed at.
The hotel is clean everywhere, and our room was left spotless every day.
The staff on the whole were very friendly, just one who was rude to several people for no reason. I can't comment on the entertainment as we prefer to go out, but other guests said it was good. The location of the hotel is about 10-15mins walk to the beach, but there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close to the hotel.
I will definatley return to this hotel, had a fantastic time!

Staff very friendly and the entertainment crew were really nice and put on some great shows in the evening. They were more entertaining than the shows that were paid to come into the hotel at night. Place was kept spotlessley clean. On the down side the pool was absolutely freezing - weather wasnt too good while we were there so it didnt have time to warm up and it was afternoon before the sun had come from behind the other high hotels around. Hotel did have a few leaks in the communal areas so had to dodge the buckets a bit so it could do with a bit of maintenance work here and there. On the whole the hotel was excellent value for money and I would go again, maybe when we could guarantee better weather

| said: Visited the Hotel Flamingo Oasis twice this year (April and October). First time with a group of friends and most recently with my husband and another couple. Found the hotel to be very clean and tidy. Have stayed in many All Inclusives before so was pleasantly surprised with the choice and variety of food and drink (serves real Strongbow! and provides bottled water). There was always plenty of choice and a "proper cooked roast dinner" on Sunday lunchtimes
The adult pool on the roof top had fantastic views of Benidorm and allowed peace and quite to enjoy the sun.
The rooms are large with plenty of hot water to bath or shower. We were on the 23rd floor which is fine as I don't mind heights - large balcony with four chairs and table with views over pool and Benidorm.
Downside was the lifts which caused problems when they broke down - people waited 15-20 mins to get to the ground floor.
There is a 12 min walk to the beach (if you don't stop at the shops!). Booking again for next year as we loved it so much.

| said: Visited this hotel last week of September.
Was quite impressed with reception area, pleasant welcome, friendly staff. My request of a low floor was upheld and we were placed on the second floor. After waiting what almost seemed an eternity for the lift we entered our room. It was clean, decor slightly dated, huge hole in bathroom wall, torn ripped sheets, 1940's metal antiquated cot for the baby, rubbish shower head water went in all directions rather than over your body. Nice view of pool. Wobbly balcony. Drawing all over the walls.
The hotel is fairly large inside lots of seating areas, separate piano bar for adults only, a cafe style bar, and the restaurant and cabaret room downstairs.
Food in restaurant is just ok, I was expecting Claridges after some of the reviews I read. Fatty roast beef on sunday, oily vegtables, good choice of salads, cold meats, pastas, you could always manage to find "something" to eat I suppose. Typical fake gateauxs stuffed with blaumange. Plus point loads of fresh fruit. No kids menu, that finished end of August according to the staff as it was winter. One day they had sausage rolls well you would have thought it was the last supper, people were actually fighting over cold undercooked sausage rolls they were piling them high. I enjoyed breakfast the most, good choice of pastries, well cooked sausages and eggs, bacon more fat than meat. Lunch was just mainly yesterdays dinner recycled with the odd strange thing thrown in. Was a bit miffed it wasn't waiter service for drinks at the restaurant, you had to get them yourselves, I have never had to do that at a 4* inclusive before. Restaurant staff were mostly ok, the male waitors were friendly, some of the females not as friendly. Got told off for taking buggy in the restaurant, even though there were other buggys in there, my child was tired and wanted a nap.
The pool area, plenty of beds, the lifeguard threatened my partner when he wore a t-shirt in the pool, he has very very fair skin, he told us infront of my 5 year old to get the **** out of hotel. Others had similar problems too with him. Complained to management, he was as much good as a chocolate teapot, boasting about his excellent trip advisor reviews - NOT!!, he also told us to leave if we didn't like it. Also the poolside bar was closed even though advertised in brochure, asked the manager he said it shut it as he was throwing too much food away, not our problem though!!.
Drinks were watered down, the vodka tasted extremely unusual. Beer on tap was fine though. Entertainment was ok.
We had a heavy rain storm one day, the downstairs roof leaked virtually everywhere, there were towels and buckets everywhere. The lift to the restaurant was rendered out of action as there was a waterfall pouring through it, if you were in a wheelchair you were stuffed.
The lifts again took a lifetime at busy times to get down to the restaurant, esp if you are on a low floor. It is easier to go up to get down sometime.
I'm sorry I can't be give a better report, but I wanted to be honest. I'm not ashamed to say I will not be returning, I wanted to give this place a chance, but I feel for over £500 per person it was a very poor show. Hopefully renovations will be done over the winter. I feel this hotel's downfall is that it has become a sucess of it's popularity and they are becoming slack. There were a lot of unhappy people. Hopefully the more people that complain, they will improve the hotel and make it better for others.

| said: Recently returned from very good holiday at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel.
On arriving at hotel got good impression, the rooms are very large with a large balcony (I was on the 15th floor)and there is a bath showerroom 2sinks and a bidi in the bathroom.
The pool area was very busy but we did not partake in the reserving of sunbeds as others did we did our sunbathing on the rooftop terrace which was great and adults only with a handy bar, a small pool and great view of Benidorm.
All inclusive was great it was first time that I had gone all inclusive in hotel and it worked very well not needing to get money out every time that we went to bar definately speeds up bar service and even when there were ques they cleared quickly. The choice of All inclusive drinks were good sanmiguel, local vodka, baileys, malibu, and they alternated the cocktail each day. Also available were milkshakes and icelollies and range of softdrinks. Most of the day you could also help yourself to snacks.
Meals seemed to have a good choice and quality also.
I thought entertainment was very good at the hotel also although main entertainment was only for couple of hours in the evening between 10-12 with bingo at 9.30. A mixture of the entertainment team and outside acts such as hypnotist, Michael Jackson impersonater and couple of acrobats. There was a week one and week two for the entertainment which was good for us as it was a 2 week holiday and meant that the entermainment was not repeated for us.
There was also daily activities such as watervolleyball waterpolo and football the ones I took part in which were well organised.
There were only a few small minus parts of hotel, the piano room was always nearly empty possibly due to couple of leaks, the uncomfy seats or the fact noone played the piano.
The lifts as others have put in reviews were a sore point, at the start of the holiday we would go up to room from pool and make our way down for dinner after 7 but the lifts at that time were packed waiting about 10mins to get in one so we decided to get dressed and go down early just after 6 which meant lifts were quieter, there were 6 lifts a couple were 13 capacity but the rest were 8 capacity and these ones were very small and the air conditioning did not seem to work most of the time it sometimes felt like a sauna with you clothes on!
But these bad points did not distract me from the fact that I think it was the best 4 star hotel I have stayed in on a holiday and would recommend it to anyone intending to visit
Benidorm.

The Food was quite good although the breakfast could have been better. We requested low floors when booking but were given 21st floor even though I e-mailed the hotel direct about 6 times with this request. We did get moved after complaining, to the 7th floor. I didn,t find the hotel staff over friendly. The entertainment team worked really hard, we were unable to get seats but our children watched the entertainment most nights and really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was ok, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.
I think we would return to this hotel because our children really enjoyed it. Although my Daughter left her mobile phone in her room and after e-mailing the hotel about 7 times so far no response.

| said: This was a second visit - we last came here in 2004. The hotel is still very good, public areas large & spacious and very clean although starting to look a little careworn in places probably due to the sheer numbers of people who holiday here.
It was very busy at this time of year - the hotel holds about 2000 people at its maxmimum and the pool is really not big enough. The scrum to get a sunbed at 8.30 in the morning when the guards give the go ahead has to be seen to be believed. Also to get a table outside in the evening was also a nightmare as you had to queue until the guard was ready to let everyone go then you had to run. Even the cleaners & bar staff used to watch everyone and laugh - embarrasing!!
The hotel seemed far less ´select´ than when we last holidayed here - full of tattooed, football shirted loud people and their kids running around
The food has definitely dropped in quality and choice since we came here last. Cheaper cuts of meat, less themed nights and strange things like deep fried marrow and food being recycled from breakfast into salads at tea time showed that they were starting to cut corners and save money. If you want a quiet meal then don´t visit the restaurant. The noise of people scraping their chairs along the floor, kids screaming and general clattering of crockery & cutley was deafening and instead of taking our time to eat & relax we would go in, eat up & get out as soon as possible
The entertainment was very good with the team working hard to please everybody - very good shows and even childrens entertainment in the showbar at night when the adult show is on.
In all, the hotel is still good value for money and a great location. I don´t think i´d return at this time of year as you have to queue for everything, and the hotel is bedlam everywhere and very noisy as its so full, although i´d definitely return in the quieter months. We did have a lovely holiday

| said: Have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Flamingo Oasis, would not return to this hotel for several reasons:
1: Choice of food very very poor, food was definitely recycled each night in different sauce, their chinese themed night consisted of prawn crackers, beef stroganoff?-not chinese, 2 different choices of rice and chinese style potato-a baked potato!
2: My sister-in-law was in a small scooter(small motorised wheelchair) as she is unable to walk, and was taken out of the restaurant, by the manager, on our 1st day there and told she could not use this in the hotel, but could hire a much bigger one that she would have to pay for and would have been unable to use unable to use from reception.
3: After requesting a low floor was put on the 18th floor, but after requesting a lower floor found staff very accommodating and offered to move us to the lowest floor possible in a couple of days, was then given a room on the 9th floor with a patio door that did not lock and large hole at the top of the wall all the way round the room as if someone had removed cornicing and removed half the wall with it, you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom.
It took 4 days, 2 once I put in written complaint to the Hotel Manager to fix, we were out of our room for 2 days(we were able to return at night)due to mess and they had no more rooms to put us in.
4: The pool is far too small for the hotel, although they do have 2 very good lifeguards on duty at all times.
5: Lifts are a bit of a problem, there are 6, but they are quite small, especially if you have luggage, buggy, etc.
6: There are a couple of good points about the hotel that I should point out, hotel is very very clean and foyer and hotel front are very nice, rooms are also a very good size, but would not return to this hotel due to the problems we encountered.

| said: Wanted - 2 weeks low hassle family holiday for heavily pregnant wife and 4yr old daughter
Got - What I wanted and much more.
My wife was 7 months pregnant and my daughter was 4 and half years old and very active!! I wanted a decent family holiday with little hassle and I got this and much more from this hotel!!
I am an Electrical Engineer within industry so I know a well run ship when I see one and this place looked like it was ran with a british influence. You could tell by the attitude to health and safety by the maintenance staff which was a big give away to me. The right equipment used in the correct manner! Hotel just oozed prfessionalism!
I was very impressed when i first saw the hotel and I was immensly impressed when I left 2 weeks later. I could waffle on about all aspects but for those who are looking for a quality hotel with excellent facillities to keep all the family members happy every day then stop looking and start booking at this hotel!!
The whole place (very big) had a proffessionally ran feel to it. The reception staff spoke perfect English and were falling over themselves (in a proffessional manner) to help you with anything at all. The location of the hotel was 10 mins away from the beach up a main road with lots of shops to break up the journey.
The entrance was a sight for sore eyes when the coach eventually dropped us off 1 hour after landing. It had a horseshoe shaped driveway with a water fall down the side of the entrance building. The hotel comprises of two buildings. The entrance building and the tower block (24 floors with 16 rooms).
13 rooms face due south towards the beach and 3 rooms face west towards the stunning sierra's. I was in room 15 (middle of west facing) and at first I was dissapointed to not have a sea facing room but this was to be a major blessing! You get the sun on the evening so your balcony time is exquisite with a 9pm sunset behind the 'Giants Head' mountain (5000 feet high). This kept the room cool during the day and more importantly kept the room quiet from the speakers on the front of the North facing poolside stage which blasted out the shows from 8pm onwards. This noise might prove annoying with small kids trying to sleep.
I strongly suggest you email the reception and request one of these 72 rooms if you would appreciate the peace and quiet.
The rooms had A/C with a typical room thermostat to set the temp. BBC1, CNN, sky news and movies 24 gave you connection with England and the current events.
The lifts seemed to cause issues if you were above the 8th floor and I hardly suffered on the 6th. Its best to avoid using the lifts at the restaurant opening hours. Its easier if you leave it an hour and then use the lifts. The restaurant has quietened by then and is easier to negotiate with full plates of food.
The restaurant/buffee area (again huge) ran like a sewing machine and the staff were extreamly efficient in such a way that you hardly noticed they were there. The restaurant manager would greet you at the door and immediately allocate another member of staff to guide you to a freshly laid table. If you had a baby and required a baby chair then it was already waiting for you at the table!!
The food selection was excellent for salads, hot food, deserts, kids food, cooked breakfasts and continental. Loads of fresh fruit all day every day and no sign of ANY recycled food from 2 days ago!!
The pool area was superb and the entertainment people did their best. LOL. to paint the picture, at butlins you have Red Coats, here you have the yellow T-Shirts. They were a small am-dram group with 2 or 3 trained performers and the rest just dancing by numbers. At first they are cringeworthy but I must admit after a few days you enjoy their company and I missed them when I left with the (very) catchy 'Flah-ming-oh Oh-ass-siss' song in my head!!
There was ALWAYS a lifeguard on duty, sometimes 2, and they were very vigilant!! Plenty of space to slip in a sun lounger during the day which were stacked away by the pool staff by 6pm ready for the tables and chairs to be placed around the stage for the evening shows (think pantomine with overdubbing, bless 'em!!). There are 2 hour slots for 3 age range children's entertainment. Thompson have Kidzone and Thomas Cook had Kids World. Both next door to each other on the pool side next to the play area. Kidzone was on 11-1 for up to 5yr olds. 1-3 for mid aged kids and 3-5pm for older (10ish) kids. That ran Sun-Wed and Friday (missing out Thurs and Sat). There was also evening activities from 7:30 till 9:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (absolute godsends!!!!).
In short I did not regret the cost of this hotel once. In fact I was very glad I paid the extra £100's for the stress free stay.

I saw several puch ups and witnessed countless incidents of the stereotypical Brit abroad.
The pool area cannot cope with the number of people at this hotel, from 0750 people start to queue behind a rope. At 0800 the hotel staff lift the rope and people run for the sunbeds, if this wasn't so sad it would be funny. Sometimes the hotel staff even blew a whistle to start the race much to their amusement.
Sixteen rooms were also broken into while we were there and the safes were robbed.

All areas are kept really clean at all times.
Food is excellent. Great choice at every meal.
Location is only a short walk from the busy areas but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. We had both a mountain and sea view
Hotel staff were mostly great. A couple of grumpy faces but most were really friendly.
Entertainment was good for a Benidorm hotel. I have usually found that entertainment is rubbish in Benidorm hotels as the resort has so many good acts. My daughter was delighted that her favourite in Benidorm Rose Peters was an act at the hotel
I would highly recommend the Flamingo Oasis and will be back again at the end of this year.

The hotel was spotless, the rooms are large and very clean. Staff could not be anymore helpful.
The food was great I am a fussy eater and must admit never struggled to find something I liked. Food always hot and staff always cleaning tables and bringing fresh food out.
Hotel was about a 10minute walk from the beach with shops all the way down, I would rather be a short walk than be in the centre.
I could not fault the hotel staff, they were brilliant always on the go making sure everything was perfect.
The entertainment staff were great, they work long hours keeping the guest entertained during the day they were always activitys for the adults and the kids in the evening it started with the kids mini disco then there were shows on for the adults at 10pm grease, mama mia, starlight express and many more then at 11pm there was comedians, singers I must admit they were great.
Most of the rooms face the pool where they have there entertainment and night so you can sit on your balcony and watch them as we have a 8 month old son we done this alot.
I don't normally go back to the same place twice but would go back to the Flamingo Oasis if returning to Benidorm.
As we were on the 22nd floor we had to get the lift, the lifts were busy but you just had to be patient, it wouldnt put me off going back.
Overall I think this is a fab hotel, Read danny _h travelled 04 2007 it's spot on.

| said: The Hotel was impressive inside.
It was spotlessly clean and Reception Staff were very efficient. In fact all the staff were very efficient. Our only down side for the Hotel were the lifts which were diabolical.
Due to the fact the hotel has 25 floors and we were on lower levels we had a long wait to get a lift on times as they were always full!!
Also we found the pool area became very cramped although there were plenty of sun-beds available though not always much shelter from the sun.We didn't think the pool was really big enough for the size of the hotel.
We had one week before the schools broke up and it wasn't so bad the second week the hotel was a lot busier and I wouldn't like to have stayed in the Peak season when it was very busy.
The plus side for the hotel was the food. You would have to be really finicky if you couldn't find something you liked. It was always fresh and piping hot with a great selection all well cooked and presented. The rooms were spacious and very clean.
We have been to Benidorm before and much preferred this area to our previous more central location. We made a couple of trips to Aqualandia which was great for the kids.
Tip if you enjoyed it and plan to go back get a second day return pass on your way out.We hadn't realised this so it cost us full price both days but we still thought it a good day out and only 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The only thing that wasn't so good was the entertainment in the nights but going AI we didn't mind going out for the odd meal in the evenings for a change, followed by one or two cocktails near the beach (again about 10-15 minutes walk)There are also some good bars across the road with entertainment if you fancy a change.
Hotel Staff were pleasant and friendly.A good hotel overall.

As for the rooms...huge.....the maids cleaned daily, always clean bedding and towels, they did a fantastic job. Definately the cleanest hotel I have ever been in.
The location was perfect for us!!! It was a 10-15 min walk to the centre of Benidorm and beach, which we thought was perfect with having a 4 year old with us. It not to far away to experience the night life, but not too close that you were kept awake at night.
If you want an excellent, cheap meal as a change from the all inclusive go to the Union Jack which is just down the road....very cheap, huge and gorgeous!!!
The staff are really friendly and work hard to make your stay perfect. The hotel entertainment staff were brilliant. They worked so hard and always put on fantastic shows. A dont miss is the proffesional hypnotist....we have never laughed so much in all our lives. (thats adults only, but the hotel entertainers put a show on for the kids)
The restaurant had a wide variety of foods. The food was ok although a bit repetitive (breakfast and lunch tend to be the best). It would have been better if they had catered more for the kids as our son didnt like much that was on. There was a snack bar round the pool, but eating chips, burgers and nuggets everyday was a little boring for children.
The only thing that could be improved would be the childrens play park. It is for older children and it was to high for my 4 year old to play on.
We would defintely return to this hotel but would take the self catering option. Overall 8/10

Where do i start? This hotel is fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay there.
We went AI and the choice of food was immense. There were always at least 10 meal combinations. At every meal there was always chips and there was always salad at lunch and dinner. Also there was a chef in the middle dishing out either meat or fish at Dinner and there were also copious amounts of other food, from burgers to paella, goulash to nuggets, omelette's to pizza.
Always 2 types of soup at every meal. plus veg and gravy. sachets of red sauce and mayo, plus bottles of dressing and hp brown sauce.
Drinks on the AI are San Miguel and strongbow on draught, Pepsi, 7-up and Kas (which I think is Fanta) lemon and orange also on draught and tea/coffee other hot drinks etc.. There are also the usual hotel versions of the spirits which (to me) don't taste any different.
As for the cleanliness, I could not fault it really. We had one night where my partner opened the toilet door and thought I had been in the night but it was the drains but that was a one off.
The room was cleaned daily and if you wanted your towels changing you leave them in the bath.
All cutlery and plates were always clean as were the bars and the restaurants, and there always seemed to be someone cleaning somewhere.
The staff were all great and you get to know a few of the faces and names the more you are there.
The entertainment team are great and work tirelessly from 11 until the early hours with various activities for kids, teens and adults through the day and the show at 10pm usually contains them also unless they have a singer on. In the entertainment team are 3 Spaniards (David, javi (funny guy) and Natalia), 2 English (Jake and Natalie), a Scot (Stephanie), a Czech (David), a Slovakian (Mike), a French lady (Estelle) and a Dutch lady (Lysette) who all speak excellent English.
We will definitely visit this hotel again as soon as we can afford it because we simply loved it.

The food was very poor my other half being a veg he lived on potatoes and beans for a week.
We were about a ten min walk from the beach and night life
The staff were really good at night it was a bit boring even for the kids
I would go back again but not all inclusive as we were very disappointed with the food

| said: We stayed here as a family of three for Easter 07 holidays for 2 weeks, and loved it that much I will be defiantly going there again.
This was our very first time to Benidorm and was very pleased we chose to stay at Flamingo Oasis.
On arrival when you get through the revolving doors you are instantly eased by how spacious airey and luxurious the whole place looks.
Check inn was a nice welcome of the smiley staff, and very simple and quick, we was pleased to find our room request to the hotel for a high floor and pool view had been granted.
we was given a temporary room/id card until the next day, as eventually you will have your photo took individually which churns out your all inclusive, hotel id, and room card.
Lifts:
I had previously read a lot of bad comments about the lifts as im sure you have too.
Our room was right up on the 23rd floor!
There was 6 all together and there honestly wouldn’t have been any problem with long periods of time waiting, if people made some more room. The 2 middle lifts hold 13! and the others on the outside hold 8! There would be about 5 people all together getting in each lift then saying it was full. The lifts all have weight sensors, so if the lift is too full to move the doors wont close, So with out the alarm going off its fine to get some more inn. Also when you call the lift it calls all 6 of them so say if one had arrived at the ground floor people would still be pressing the lift button that they was waiting by. This means that the doors to lift that is there will be trying to close to go up but will then then reopen when somone else presses the call button. Sadly you will find the majority of people will be having a moan about this everyday. No matter what floor you’re on you will stop at practically every floor usually going up or down. I could see this being a real problem in the busiest summer season so be careful.
Accommodation: 9/10
Our room was really spacious for the three of us. The bathroom was a good size it was nice having 2 sinks. You also get a hairdryer in there too. There’s a satellite television in the room with English sky sports and bbc1, the rest are a few Spanish channels.
The private balcony was really big and is all very safe. Being on the 23rd floor the view was brilliant you could see everything from the pool, mountains, and the sea!
The balcony also had a washing airer.
All the rooms have air condition but this is only in use in the summer months.
Our room cleaner Marie always kept the room spotless and changed the towels daily if you wanted too.
All Inclusive Cards:
The next day we had our photo taken individually the kids are given a red card and adults a yellow one.
The children’s red card allows them 1 soft drink at the bar per time, and the adults yellow card 2 drinks at a time.
The hotels shop in reception sell cotton chains so you can keep them round your neck (the hotel reception will punch a hole at the top for you) you would find most people did this.
Restaurant: 8/10
The Restaurant is the biggest ive seen it was massive and spotless. You are asked to show your all inclusive card before entering so have them ready. We was always shown to a table at even what look to be the busiest of times. The food quality we found to be excellent there was so much choice for everyone’s taste. They even have a kids section for the little ones which was great as they can be fussy. The chef’s specials were gorgeous! We always found something we liked. The Restaurant staff never seemed to stop but we found them to be friendly and generally happy. You find the restaurant is open basically all day they even do midnight snacks after the entertainment! The only negative thing is that they didn't seem to have any air conditioning on in the restaurant which sometimes was quite uncomfortable as the temperature of the room got so hot.
Entertainment: 7/10
The animation team worked none stop from early in the morning to the early hours at night. There was something going on for all ages through out the whole day!
The nightly entertainment we found was good but we only stayed to watch the professional acts at 11pm as the acts before that are the animation team putting on there own show which unfortunately we found to go though us a bit, but 10/10 for there enthusiastic efforts! But defiantly make sure you watch the 11 pm acts as they were excellent! Especially the comedians. They also have bingo on as well at 8:30 not cash prizes but a flamingo oasis t-shirt. Some nights there is also karaoke if you fancy a sing.
My brother and along with quite a few other teenagers he met was gutted that the hotel closed there football pitch through out all the holiday. But luckily not far from the hotel about 3 minuets walk there is a large Astroturf pitch open to the public and free of charge, with a nice friendly cafe if your kids like a proper kick about..
The kids also had a games room to keep them occupied with all different type of arcade games to play and a air disk table.
for toddlers they had kids world / kid zone club which is good if mum and dad wont a rest knowing there in safe hands.
Cafe Bar:
The hotels Cafe Bar Veranda' is open from 9am till midnight here you can get all your day/night time alcoholic-non alcoholic and hot drinks you wont.. There was always plenty of free tables and settees. For the smokers they had the end part of the cafe sectioned off for them but i don’t know if this will stop once the ban takes place.
They didn’t serve food here just vending machines with crisps and chocolate to buy. Some days in the afternoon they had cakes part f the a/i on in the tea and coffee section.
Also at the back of the cafe on to the patio there is 4 pool tables 1€ per game they over look the main pool area. The local larger apart of the a/i is San Miguel.
Location:
Only about a 15 minute walk to the beach and nightlife but its a nice walk, I personally only say its about a 10 minute brisk walk.
Crazy Golf:
On top of the cafe roof they had crazy golf up there which was one of the days activities for the children and adults. A little bit run down now.
Piano Bar:
The adult only bar with live piano music and golden oldies songs. Didn’t spend really any time in here but the older ones were having a good dance and sing. I saw Buddy Holly look a like perform in here he was really good.
Bottled Water:
We was very surprised when we found out that bottled water was part of the all inclusive at this hotel. we thought this was great part as we went through alot.
Excursions:
We didn’t go on any of the company’s excursions out as we found them quite pricey but everyone i hared who had been on them sound like it was a good day out.
Internet Access:
The hotel have 7 computers with internet access and messenger 1€ for 15 minutes.
Hairdressers:
A unisex hairdressers but very expensive! About €20 euros for gents cut. and about €60 for a ladies wash and blow dry.
Hotels Shop:
Nice little shop that sells all sorts. mostly postcards and Souvenirs.
Super Market:
Right opposite the hotel is a super market that sells all toiletries, food, and convenience things. very reasonable priced.
Roof top pool:
The roof top pool was an adults only sanctuary the views from up there are brilliant. Plenty of sun loungers up there. They also had a bar as well along with a good size splash pool. When the sun is out up there you can roast very quickly!
Out door pool:
The pool is big and looked great to have a swim if the sun was out but unfortunately being in April it was way too cold.
Indoor Pool:
This was open during our tay which was good as the outdoor pool was closed. But I belive this pool was cold aswell. The kids enjoyed it though.
Cleanliness: 10/10
The whole of the hotel is totally spotless i didn’t find any communal area dirty or un clean. Cleaners work very hard.
Hotel staff: 8/10
On the whole most of the staff were friendly and polite but you always get 1 miserable one and im regarding the bar section more then anything.
Stag/Hen Nights:
During the 2 weeks we stayed there all together I saw around 2 or 3 they were no bother though, but sometimes this is not the case.
Thomas Cook: 8/10
We booked the holiday through Thomas Cook because we got a good deal, and must say with praise that the reps were extremely friendly and helpful. Nicky and Kiel was always on hand everyday to help you with anything you wanted to know.
Value for Money: 8/10
We found the hotel very good value for money and would recommend its worth a visit. You will won’t to go back believe me
All in All:
The hotel is well worthy of it 4 stars and I look forward to coming back here in the near future.
As I cant think of anything more to mention if you do have any more questions you won’t to ask me then feel free to message me on here to Danny_H

| said: Only thing that let us down was the weather. Hotel was fantastic and deserves its 4*.
The Hotel was packed it being Easter but we where always shown to a table quickly no matter what time we went to the restaurant. You could eat from 8am to midnight and we never had one bad meal. We even found breakfast available at 11.30 am which meant we didn't have to rush in the mornings or anything.
Having Bottled water included in the All Inclusive was a blessing especially to take to the room at nightime etc.
Entertainment to suit everyone of all ages, also child free zones for those that wish. One thing I noticed which I have never seen done in any other Hotel we have stayed in was a few times in the evening at 11pm when the Act performing was deemed Adult, they opened the kids club, which meant parents didn't have to miss these shows. I think this is a great idea and wish all hotels did the same.
I would highly recommend this Hotel to couples and families as there is so much going on to keep everyone happy and hope to visit it again. Karen

| said: First time to this hotel, and apart from the weather, we had a nice break.
Good points - well run, and plenty of resource in staff and communal areas. Also the food was pretty good too. Very generous with the drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Bad points - A bit out of town for those wanting a lively time. The restaurant! Imagine a high clas |
