| said: this was our fourth visit to Icmeler and the best yet, found it very hard to find fault with either the accomodation, staff or the Kurt family, Mr Kurt in particular was a very kind, generous and charming man allowing us to keep the three appartments we occupied for four days free or charge {due to XL going bust} the two maids were friendly and very thorough,Murat was always helpful and naturally funny,Musafa whose english was quite limited still managed to join in with us {great bloke} and Smy the chef, never failed to impress he really is a credit to the place{try his baked ice cream}over all the accomodation, hygene, food ang general atmosphere were all you could ask for... see you again next year.

| said: the kurt apartments were a pleasure to stay in. absolutley spotless and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. there is a turkish night once a week.the location is a bit further away from the beach as i would have liked which was about 30 minute stroll but the buses are very regular. the kurts own cafe/restaraunt has a good menu with specials on every other night.i would definatley stay at the kurt apartments again because it is a very relaxing family run buisness.

| said: The kurt appartmants were basic but very very clean,we only had dinner at the hotel once but it was very nice, there are a lot more places to eat around icmelar, where the food is a lot cheaper.
The hotel location was perfect and was away from the hustle and bustle of the night life in icmelar, during the day we stayed mostly at the pool where it was nice and friendly and had a relaxed atmosphere where all the children and families got on really well, special thanks to sheena, kenny, holly and wee robbie whom we became really good friends with and hope to meet up on holiday next year at the same appartments.
Good luck to murat whos wife is excpecting a baby this year.
All the staff are really nice and very helpfull appart from mr kurt junior who only wants you to book trips with him and its the only time he wants to speak to you.

| said: Stayed at the Kurt Apartments for 15 Nights. We were warey about going at first as had previously stayed at Grand Aquarium which are of a high standard. We only paid £96 for 2 of us for the apartment.
The apartments are to a high standard, and are spotlessly clean. The balconies are of a very good size and can easily accomdate 4 people on them. The bedroom has two single beds, also has aircon in bedroom. The living rooms is of a good size with a double sofa bed, and is actually quite comfortable, and would fit 2 adults on it unlike some so called 4 person apartments. The kitchen had the usual 2 cooking rings, kettle and fridge. Apartments were cleaned every day without fail, and bedding & towels changed twice a week. The Maids are very friendly.
The grounds are well kept, and consist of 2 blocks of apartments. There are 30 apartments in total, only about 4 of them are not pool view. The pool only has 1 depth all round and it is fairly deep, there is a small splash pool, but this is very small. However Mr Kurt does put floats out for people to use free of charge.
I would definately go back to these apartments again. Only one slight complaint, the Kurts don't like you bring things in from outside and would like you to eat with them all the time. But a polite but firm no thankyou in the first couple of days of your holiday will make them get the message, and they wont ask you again. Steve

| said: The apartments were spotless, maids did a great job. Shower a bit dodgy but in Turkey it is almost always like that!
The pool was fab, sunbeds very comfy! Lovely location out of the way of all the noise but not far away if you want to find it. Very close to the weekly market, which was handy, great fruit!
Mr Kurt senior, a sweet man, staff all nice, Good Luck to Murat with his pending fatherhood! The only annoying with this was Mr Kurt, Junior, no niceties to be had, only wants to sell you things, got very angry when we booked a trip elsewhere.
We would revisit these apartments in the future without hesitation.

| said: It was the third time I have stayed at the kurt apartments and each and every time i have thoroughly enjoyed it. I find the hotel to be spotlessley clean the maids and cleaners work very hard to keep it this way, I think the food could be of a better choice range although the food they do cook is very nice.
The location of the apartments is fine if you dont mind a short walk to the beach and things like that, I found the staff really friendly and helpful. The entertainment is not very good though there is a Turkish night once a week and you have the chance to go on mr Kurts moonlight boat trip which is o.k but the drinks i found were pricy.
I would definately go back again and would reccomend it to other people aswell in fact I have just got the brochure today and will be booking as soon as!!

| said: The apartments were spotless and the maids cleaned the rooms every day, even washing any dirty dishes that was left in the sink.
1 large bedroom with twin beds and a double sofa bed in the living room, this was fine as we only had our 14yr old with us, but if you had 2 teens, then the sofa bed would be cramped. The air conditioning was in the bedroom, and cost £5 a day or £60 a week (small charge they think!) and it was not worth it. The shower was a joke, a shower tray with curtains round it that didn't fit, therefore the floor got flooded and was very slippy. The spray from our shower was a dribble, hubby tried to clean it but couldn't. Others in the apartments didn't have this problem so it was probably contained to our bathroom!
The staff couldn't do enough for you - Ibrahim, Sercan and Alex, they were wonderful and we will be keeping in touch with them. They worked their socks off and seemed to work 24/7. There is a tip box and everyone was putting their loose change into it until we found out that the owners took 20% out of it for supposed breakages from the staff, so we all gave the money directly to the boys after that.
The food was just as good as the surrounding restaurants and was around the same price, 2 lira 50 for an English breakfast (£1) and anything between 50 lira and 100 lira for a 3 course meal (including 2 steaks) with at least 2 drinks (about £20 - £40).
The only entertainment was the weekly barbecue and bellydancer, but music was played all day and night.
Mr Kurt has his own boat and will take residents for a moonlight cruise on Sunday nights for free, and he also has his own private stretch of beach, which you can also use for free. He will transport you there and back in his minibus driven by his son in law and all he asks is that you buy drinks from his bars. Mrs Kurt doesn't know much English and watches you all the time you enter the apartments especially if you have bags to see what you are bringing into the apartments. She doesn't like you making any food as she wants you to buy from the restaurant (no toasters provided in the kitchens so you have to buy breakfast). We also had a safe in the office and whenever we went to get money out, she watched us like hawks.
The location of the apartments was set back from the front, but we didn't have any problem with this as it was a nice walk if you wanted to.
Even though it sounds like we are moaning a lot about these apartments, we didn't let anything spoil our holiday and had a great time and would definitely go back.

Everyone at the Kurt appartments made you feel very welcome it was the first time we had been to Turkey and because of the friendliness we are going back I would recommend these appartments 100%

| said: First visit to Turkey.
Apartments were ok but not the best.
Staff friendly but management not so.
Local charge for air con and management turned it off through the night which lead to an uncomfortable sticky night.
Food in restaurant so so, but better just around the corner. Drinks and ice cream seemed a little expensive and you never got small change just sweets.
Icemeler is great though quieter than its nearby sister resort of Marmaris.
We recommend Icemeler though choose some of the nicer accommodation that exists near the centre of Icemeler or that along the beach.
