| said: What can we say. from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we did not find any faults with this hotel what so ever.
As soon as we got off the bus the staff welcomed us, showed us to our rooms taking our bags for us then offering us a different room if one offered was not suitable, which it was perfect. We were on the second floor with view over the pool area with a night view of the trees behind with the lights beaming on to them.
On several occasions we ate within the hotel with absolute no complaints to the chef as food was perfect and he would cook to our own taste and preference without hesitation.
Everything about this hotel was excellent from day 1 and for being our first time in Turkey it was an amazing experience and we are looking forward to going back next year at the same time.
We also have to say that the bar was also clean and freindly with Adnam the bar man as he was the life and soul of the place with a really good sense of humour. But really have to thank all staff for such an amazing time and look forward to next year.

| said: We arrived at the Apt after a long journey to be greeted by really friendly staff. At first we were showed to a room on the ground floor with not a very good view, at the side of the property. I asked if they could move us to a different room which they did straight away,with no hassle at all. They then moved us to a bigger apartment with a pool view! staff carried our cases up the stairs. The apartments look like they have also being undergoing refurbishment. The maid came in every day and cleaned our rooms while we were out, making fancy designs with the towels and petals on the bed! We ate at the Apartments a few times, the chef was excellent, the food was really nice, no complaints there!
The staff really made our holiday,the Apartments are now under new managment. Atlan the bar tender is really funny Baba is a lovely guy, they are all genuine, helpful and courteous I really could not find any faults at all with the Apartments or the staff.

| said: No hotel staff awake to greet us. Shower was broken, never fixed and had been broken 3 weeks. Anything else that goes wrong in this hotel you are blamed and probably try to be charged. Staff (managers son) was so rude to holiday makers. It would have really spoil our holiday if we had not walked out after 2 nights and found a decent hotel.

| said: We had very much trouble at Ege Park apts. money and phones stolen from our room. Other parties were also complaining about their belongings being stolen. When we complained to the manager we were spoken to in a awful way. Our rep was no help either.

| said: We arrived and there was two members of staff that helped us with our suitcases to our room, the staff seemed to be very polite and respectful and willing to learn about where our party arrived from.
As it was self catering we were provieded with a microwave a fridge/freezer a kettle but no 2 gas ring hob as the brochure said it would.
Our room was very clean and in an ideal situation edged back away from the noise by the pool with a nice view from the balcony.
Only problem is that there was a family that was having a party that kept the hotel awake most of the night and staff didn't sort it out.
As time of our holiday went on we seemed to become very friendly with the staff and we made some brilliant friends.
The staff wouild come and sit with us when we were not in the pool.
The pool was very clean and very nice. Very good as you had your deep end and your shallow end for people that are not very confident swimmers.
It was a fantastic holiday very enjoyable, both me and my partner are returning in July 2007. Hope others that read this that are going to Ege park apartments has just as much of a good time as we did.

| said: When we arrived to the hotel, Can a member of staff (the bosses nephew) showed us to our room, we were also helped with our suit cases. The room was lovely very spacious as we had a family member in a wheel chair, very clean and nice. We had a kettle, mirco wave and fridge, mini kitchen which was very nice and clean, although in the travel brochure it does say 2 hop cooker, but now it's been refurbished the brochure need updating.
The pool area was very nice and exceptionaly clean.
The food was great, Ben and Harry the cooks were excellent. Megan harry's girlfriend was a great receptionist very heplful if you needed help. Can and Shener were great bar men a really good laugh, big baba and little baba very friendly.
The entertainment was really good break dancer and belly dancers, fire eating man and turkish dancing splended! always had help with the wheelchair the whole resort is wheelchair friendly,market shop 2 minutes down the road beach and back ect 5 minutes.
Definately comming back next season had a great holiday, see you all next year. Gemma and family. xxx

| said: We stayed at Ege for the second time this year and found it to be much better than in May.
The cleaning had improved since May and the staff were much more friendly and helpful, mainly because the 'one in charge'of the bar staff has gone!!
The impression I got was that they are learning by thier mistakes, although the pool is still very cold and full of chemicals. We used the pool next door in Ilter and it was fine.
If anything needs to be changed it's best to speak to the manager as he will get it done!
It IS basic and more suited to families with older children, singles and couples.
I will stay ther again as you cannot beat the location and the friendlines..

| said: The general standard of hygiene was below average the facilities in the room was not properley equiped ie broken shower, broken light was hanging off wall, blood stained bed sheets. When we asked for clean towels we were asked how long we had been there for us to be entitled to clean ones. Had to buy own toilet roll on arrival was given one toilet roll between four of us. The electric often cut out and so did the water.
Staff were not helpful or welcoming. Staff were arguing to all hours with girls that were staying there. General atmosphere was poor we didn't want to spend any time in the apartments and couldn't wait to leave which was a shame cause we love the country and if we hadn't had been to Turkey before this experience would not encourage us to return.

| said: After along journey to Turkey and fnally ending up at our apartment we were quite shocked that the staff did not greet us and we were exspected to carry our suitcases up six flights of stairs!
We arrived at our apartment which was at the top of the building...when we first went in we were nicely surprised at how it was decorated and very spacious, we had a big balcony with a lovely view of the mountains and pool/bar area.
When we unpacked and looked around we wernt sure what part of "self catering" the hotel were catering for, as yes we did have a fridge and a microwave but you cant toast bread in a microwave?? For the first couple of days we found the staff to be quite rude and we waited ages to be served at our table for drinks/food.
The pool was an ok size as there were not too many people at the hotel. We spent most of our time in the pool and out with friends at night only returning at the small hours of the mornings. On the third day I noticed a rash on my chest and put it down to a heat rash, by the fourth day my friend noticed she had one aswell. We spoke to some other guests who in turn said they also had rashes and we were advised by one guest that it was from the pool and she has never used it!!
By the fifth day I became very ill with only what I can describe as a chest infection and went and bought some medicine from a pharmacy as I could barely breath. Also it informed us on the back of our door that we would recieve clean towels ect on the third day, this did not happen till the fourth day and were informed we had to buy our own toilet roll!!!!
I would say by the end of the week we were ready to come home as more and more guests were arriving and they did not give any consideration to anyone else in the hotel and regularly stayed by the pool to 7am shouting swearing and making as much noise as possible...the staff did not ask them to be quiet and this continued until we left at 2am Monday morning.
I love Turkey but was very disapointed with this hotel and feel because we couldnt sleep and we were ill it ruined the end of our holiday, we would never recomend this hotel to anyone!

| said: On arriving at the Ege Park Apartments we were told by the reception staff that we were not booked into the Hotel. I asked to check the computer system and on doing so found our booking.
The cleanliness of our room left a lot to be desired. The toilet was not fastened to the floor properly, the bathroom floor was scruffy dirty and we were told that we had to buy our own toilet roll.
I've stayed in self catering accommodation approx 30 times and have never ever had to supply my own toilet roll!!!! We paid £10 for a safety deposit box which didn't work and it took 3 days for a new box to be supplied.
Two towels that I took from home were taken from the room and when i mentioned it to the staff they said they would be replaced. They never were and I got sick of asking!!!

| said: Arriving at Ege Park we found Ali sleeping on a sunbed who gave us a frosty reception despite the 30 degree temperature at 9am. However on an uncharacteristically moment of gentleman-ness from Ali he carried each of our suitcases up three flights of stairs as there is no lift. (which is not easy when you come in drunk)
Apartments were clean and basic, the water in the bathroom is solar powered so night-time showers were just plain cold!! Airconditioning broke despite paying for it!
The pool is filthy and Laura got an ear infection from the dirty water! We ended up using the pool next door which was much cleaner as we couldn't face the dirty water! Playing in the pool at EGE park was risky as Ali at the bar tortured you by throwing you in the pool and giving you creepy looks!! Apart from that I guess the guys friendly enough! They don't really appreciate you jumping into the pool when returning to the apartments at aproximately 6am as the majority of the staff sleep on the sunbeds!
There are early morning calls from the synagogue which are bound to waken the dead, so so loud!
The resort is full of Turkish men and you are fortunate to find someone who speaks English!! Bar X rules though!! Girls/women you will be tortured by the men!!
We were in Marmaris during the time of the bombs in August and the town was chaos! It was scary however staff remained unconcerned, worried for their trade more so than the safety of their customers.
I don't think I will return to Marmaris or Ege Park

When we finally got moved we didnt have a good view and we had to put up with leaks every few days coming from the cupboard under the sink, plus the maids did not clean and come much.

| said: It was dark when we arrived so from the outside it looked very pleasent.
The staff seemed very pleasent and helpful the accommodation was not up to standard. There were three adults and 3 children and we were crammed in a 2 bedroomed apartment. There was no toaster and no 2 ring cooker as advertised in the brochere.
The pool was very dirty a lot of children got ear infections - (I did mention this to the rep)
There was no entertainment only after asking then Ali the multi-skilled barman put on a fire eating show which was very good.
It is sad as first impressions count the edge apartments were very sub standard and this put me off. I do not expect Buckingham palace just clean and comfortable it was very dirty and unhygeinic. This spoiled the holiday for us and I will not be returning back to the Edge apartments.

| said: When We Went to EGE PARK apartments we were shocked by the state of the pool as it was very dirty and alot of people were getting ear infections and more.
The staff only changed our bedding once in the two weeks we were there! and we had to ask when we wanted clean towels!
They didn't clean the bathroom once, same with floors and so on. I Would not visit Ege park again as my family and I were disappointed!

| said: I visted Ege Park Apartments with my girlfriend, her mum and her mums boyfriend.
When we arrived early hours of the morning, there was only 1 apartment allocated, when two were booked. We complained and eventually got two. One on ground floor (For me and my gf) and one on top floor for the other two.
The cleanliness of the hotel was ok. The bathroom was waterlogged, the maids didnt clean the rooms enough.
I really loved the staff there, Selina, Ali, Babba and the others. They all join in with you such as pushing you in the pool, throwing the manager in etc. It was fun for me throwing Selina in!!
The Food was lovely. I only ate there twice but the pizza's were fantastic.
Entertainment was 50-50. I enjoyed the Fire show on the last night performed by Ali. He's leaving soon, moving over to Liverpool to live with his GF. He will be missed.

The cleaning was done daily and if you needed extra towels you just had to ask.
The food was delicious and the lad who cooked, cooked all day long and it was quality especially the pizza!
The location was good 5 mins from beach and the other way five mins from supermarket, banks McDonalds, etc.
The staff were out of this world Peter Andre and Ba Ba made a great double act, They are lovely with children.
The dog Zippir was lovely and never begged for food and cats never ever jumped on tables. I am quite well travelled and this was fantastic and memorable holiday.
I will definitely go back, the kids had a whale of a time. Thanks all the staff you are QUALITY xxx

The staff couldn't do enough to help they were friendly and Peter Andre aka Ali, did a fantastic show! Ben is the best cook I have every met and he cooks a great t-bone!
The kids were always entertained and happy and it was a great atmosphere. We will be back ASAP !
The rooms were basic but what do people want? They know they are not booking into the HILTON, so stop moaning and have fun! We did!
It was clean and tidy.

| said: We stayed in a ground floor 1 bedroomed apartment. The facilities comprised of a microwave, fridge and kettle with sink & units, no hob available for cooking, although meals served at hotel were of a good quality & reasonably priced. The shower room lacked any mechanical ventilation or trickle vent, leading to signs of damp on the walls, & the toilet seat was unstable and their always seemed to be a trickle of water around the base, and a pong! The electrics were continually cutting off, although this was supposed to be an energy saving facility. I enquired how this worked but the English from the staff was very limited.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday, but the accommodation was of a basic standard.

| said: I was worried about my holiday when I booked - it was cheap and it was reported to be a not very nice place - on arrival, my room was clean, large and spacious - kids dived straight into pool and stayed there!!!
The staff were friendly from the start and helpful - Things were different to the civilities of England, but there was a microwave and a fridge in the room - the bathroom was more of a wet room!, but perfectly functional. - The apartment was cleaned every day.
The food was fantastic and kids loved the Turkish palate.
The apartments were close enough to the beach and the town for a short walk and not far from the bus - we did not discover the clubs!
Entertainment was not brilliant, but the bar was fun and sociable - I would definitely take my family back there again.

| said: I arrived at the apartment it was smelling of damp. It is self catering but no cooker we never had a microwave till the next night till we meet people and they told us we should have one.
Entertainment was none, the staff had a dance with us no entertainment at all.
Staff was very good loved us and made us feel at home.
Our shower room was an disgrace it had like plastic missing from over the tiles it had mould round it it was very bad you has to have a shower with shoes on I got the rep to take a look it was very bad I have photos of it

| said: Hotel was amazing!! All staff were always there to welcome you and were ever so friendly. Yes there were a few problems such as a water leakage in some young guys flats but they were moved rooms and everything was fixed without a problem.
Children had got on well with staff as they joined in on pool activities!! Food was good at hotel and everyone staying at the apartments got to know each other!!

| said: We visited Ege Park in July 2006 and found it a very nice place not far from the beach.
The staff were really helpful and friendly.
Compared to some self catering apartments in Turkey I would place this as one off the best we have stayed in for a 3 star.
Although we were self catering we did eat a lot at the apartments as the food was cheap and very nice.
We made some very good friends there and when we left the staff all came to the coach to say there goodbyes which was also nice. We will be going back there in 2007, thank you to everyone at Ege Park for making our 2006 holiday a good one AAAAA

| said: Since we came here back in July, I have calmed down a bit about my thoughts on this place;
I warn every single person reading this not to waste your money or time with Ege Apartments. When we arrived we had to wait 3 hours for the room to be ready. They then tried to put us in a room for 4 people instead of 6. When we were finally told out real room was ready we discovedred that they had thrown another group out of that room and tried to put them in a room which was too small - this party consequently left!
We asked for help with our bags to the room as it was on the top floor with no lifts. The manger got one of the female cleaners to help who threw our bags down the stairs as she could not carry them!! One of the bags ended up broken, when we asked the manager what was going to be done about it, he proceeded to yell at us, telling us to shut-up and that nothing woud be done.
The room was filthy when we finally got into it, and despite being informed it would be cleaned daily it did not get touched until the 3rd day!!
The food was awful and 2 of our party got ill from it.
On the 4th night a huge fight broke out in the room next to ours, tables were being smashed, chairs thrown from the room into the pool. The staff did nothing. None of the guests got an apology from the disturbance, they did not even warn/speak to the people (6 young drunken men) who had the fight. Nothing was done about it.
The staff were very rude and ignorant, one of the girls even muttered some insults under her breath when walking past.
If you want your holiday to be a complete nightmare, if you want to encounter a hotel manager 100 times worse than Basil Fawlty, if you want to get ill from the food you eat, if you want to stay in filthy rooms with minimal air conditioning and if you want to spend your holiday being miserable then book your holiday at these apartments. If, however, you want a nice relaxing time away from any typical brits abroad attitude then stay as far away as possible from this place!!!!!!!
Do not pay attention to any of the good reviews about this place, I did and I really really regretted it more than anything!!!!!!
Do yourself a favour and keep clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| said: We were pleased on arrival at Ege as the hotel has been recently refurbished, although some work was still going on during our stay. The pictures on-line and in brochures did not do the apartments justice, we were more than pleased with the appearance.
The music was unsuitable for children, as they started to copy swear words from the r&b lyrics. This together with the pool which caused irritation, forced us to go elsewhere for daytime activities.
The food was excellent especially the BBQ buffet on the Turkish night.
The cleaning was fine but could have been better. The only other problem with the room itself was that the balcony door handle was broken, allowing it to come off, but hey, isn't that more secure?? Good job really because the safety deposit box was feather-lite and not bolted to anything!
We had an excellent holiday, these are only minor complaints and overall did not affect our stay at Ege.
We would visit the apartments again when hopefully the majority of these problems will have been rectified.

| said: Where shall I start at first the apartments looked very nice but as our holiday went on we started having things gone missing from our rooms. We got clean towels twice for 2 weeks, our bed sheet changed once the whole time, our apartment never got cleaned and balcony was filthy dirty. You have to buy your own toilet roll I have never been to a hotel where you buy your own toilet roll before.
You go in the pool and rashes come out on you and make you itch.

| said: This hotel was a lovely place to stay and the staff were very friendly. They have refurbished the hotel from 2005 and everything that was in the apartment was brand new. I went to this hotel in the May 06 for a girls holiday and liked it so much that I went back in the June 06 for a family holiday. We had clean towels everyday and found if we didn't have something, that all we had to do was ask any memeber of staff and they would get it for us. We had access to free internet to a time limit.
The only down side to the hotel was the cooking equipment. Instead of a hob we had a microwave to cook with but the hotel food was fab so that made up for it.
This is a good hotel for singles, couples and families.

| said: When we arrived, the staff had been awake almost all-night catering to other guests. Even though they were very tired, they could not do enough to help us.
We ate in several different restaurants in the area, but kept returning to the hotel for food. It was excellent!!!
We had a Turkish night with entertainment laid on. The staffs were very attentive and the entertainment was fantastic. Though the fire eater needed some extra strong deodorant, and we thought that Alli the bar man was much better, as he had a show of his own later in the week. He was far more professional.
Nothing was to much trouble for the staff or cleaners. We are already looking to return as soon as possible.

| said: Well to start the pool gave us all rashes had to use the next door pool. The rooms were rarely cleaned properly it was bogging. People got stuff stolen out of there apartments.
I'm glad I'm home today I wont ever go back to EGE PARK but I also think the staff are very friendly (ally and pan pan).

| said: I have travelled the world, but when I visited turkey I was amazed at how extremley friendly the Turkish people were.
I stayed at the Ege Park Apartments and found the hotel very clean, with a great pool and excellent food available all day.
Ali working the bar was fantastic, and ( baba) I only know this as his nick name, was also excellent, and very sweet.
The location was just right near shops and the beach, and was a pleasant walk. Again all hotel staff were great even the manager who I had a few laughs with, took the time to get to know his guests, and finally I am visiting again in September 06.
All in all it was fantastico.

| said: A group of friends and I stayed at EGE Park Apartments in June 2006.
The apartment was clean and more than big enough for our group. We settled in very quickly and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They would do above and beyond what is expected from them considering it is a self catering holiday.
Although we were self catering we ate at the apartment on a number of occasions and the food and service was excellent. The staff really made a difference to our stay and made it that much more enjoyable.
The showers are solar heated so sometimes cold but most of the time they are fine and with the heat in Turkey a cooler than normal shower is just what you need.
The location is excellent as it is only a short walk from the main road and the beach. Good supermarket only five minutes walk away. The hotel has a good sized pool which gets the sun all day and is very nice to cool down in and swim/play.
The Goldtrail reps are very good, again welcoming and friendly. The rep came to the apartments every day at a set time so was available for any queries. The Goldtrail excursions are particularly enjoyable and great value for money. I really enjoyed the turkish bath trip and the trip to Dalyan (Turtle Beach).
My whole group had a great time and would stay here again.

| said: Yet again I stayed at EGE Park in May 2006. Last year was great this year was brill!
A huge improvement on the decor. It was very lush and very clean. The food in the hotel was I think the best steak I had in Marmaris for the two weeks I was there.
The location is just perfect because you are away from the hustle and bustle of the sea front but close enough for a stroll into town! The staff, yet again, were friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have to say that the entertainment in the evening was ok but once you have seen it once - but its the same everywhere.
I would definately go to EGE Park again and hope to go back in August of this year. I have stayed in a few different places in Marmaris and this has to be the best.

| said: This was the 3rd time i have stayed in Ege Park. The location was great far enough away from the hustle and bustle of marmaris town. The rooms were cleaned daily and the maids were very helpful. The location was in a quiet part of siteler, plenty of time to relax by the pool.
The staff were brilliant yet again. They were all courteous and very helpful.
The entertainment was great the children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
We will be returning again in August. This time we are bringing more friends with us as we had such a fantastic time.

| said: When we arrived at the apartments, we didn't really know what to expect as we had never been to turkey before. But we was suprised to find a nice little complex about 10-15 min walk from the sea front and freindly staff. When we was taken to our room we were pleasantly surprised by a nice sized clean apartment, Nice pool and pool bar and freshly cooked good food with entertainment.
P.S What else can you ask for on a cheap holiday

I found the staff very helpful and friendly yet again.
The food at the EGE Park is cooked and presented extremely well.
There was a problem with the showers in that the water was cold. As soon as management were made aware of the situation it was rectified promptly and Hot showers all round the next day.
I would stay at EGE Park again and again.
I think that the staff and management are really nice, friendly and nothing too much trouble for them.

| said: Ege park is the worst appartments that we have ever stayed in, The smell of damp hit you as soon as you entered the hotel never mind your own room. The beds were damp and so where the seats in the main living area. Maid service does not exsist we only had a change of towels when asked, the bedding was changed only after 6 days, even then a single sheet was used on a double bed.
The noise on the stairs every night was horendous, but put this with the dogs barking outside, sleep becomes imposible.
The electric plugs are hanging off the walls and are totally dangourous, infact we had to leave one of our adapters in the wall as we thought that if we pulled it out the whole socket would come out with it.
Hot water is non existent in this hotel just cold!!
Not one of the doors would shut without being banged they are all warped probably with the damp!!
I would NEVER stay at this hotel ever again would not even house a dog there!

| said: Like so many of the comments I have read from fellow travellers, Ege apartments have to be the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in!
The rooms, damp, the sofa in the living area was more like a tramps camp bed and I would not sit on it for the amount of stains that were on it! along with the bedding! The shower was cold and filthy! We had no sleep the entire duration of our stay with overloud teenagers running in and out of rooms till the early hours and doors banging! We complained but nothing was done.
Only good points were the food and pool area were ok.
Would not recommend these apartments to anyone, especially families with young children. You just don't get any sleep!

| said: When finally arriving at these apartments after being delayed at the airport for seven hours me and the family just wanted to get into the apartment and rest.
The building and surroundings looked alright from the outside but when we got inside it was a different thing.
The room was smelly and damp, the shower room looked a public toilet mould on the walls, the mattresses were damp we slept on towels the first night. Family of cats living under balcony as we were on the ground floor. Suffered first night then asked to be moved the next day.
Whilst sitting waiting the wild cats walked on the tables people ate their meals off. Lots of people moved out on our first day. We moved to other apartments and we enjoyed the rest of our holiday.
As for the food and staff of first apartments did not stay long enough to find out. As my husband said our dogs sleeping basket was cleaner.

| said: We arrived at Ege Park Apts around 11.30pm due to the flight being delayed.
We checked in to find our room on the 4th floor bearing in mind that there was no lifts, and we had 3 children under 8 years old and a 1 year old baby in a pram. As soon as I saw the two rooms I wanted to cry, it was damp, smelt dirty, bathroom was covered in mould, balcony had an old air conditioning unit just dumped there and that was just the start of a long list.
I refused to stay, the staff were very abnoxious and told us there were no rooms left, but after complaining for 1 hour we were offered 2 rooms on the 2nd floor, which were in a better state but were still unsuitable due to the cleanliness.
We also waited for 1 hour for a cot which came with no bedding and was taped together either end with masking tape. And as for the Reps, well you dont see then while you are there as there too busy.
The whole apartments were a disgrace and should be condemmed.

| said: When we arrived at 6.00am the staff were sleeping, we had to wait 20 minutes before getting into our room. The room itself was horrible, small, dark and smelt damp. The kitchen area could not possibly have ever been used and the fridge had never been cleaned in what looked like 2 years. We asked to be moved which was meet with a grunt from the extremely miserable member of staff.
The second room we were put into was only slighter better but still damn and dark. We sat all day waiting to see the Holidays4u rep in which time not one member of staff spoke to us, they were all walking around with sour faces. Finally at 7.00pm we were taken to another apartment.
I am surprised that H4U deal with such horrible accommodation and doubt if I would travel with them again.

| said: Along with my friends and their children we stayed in EGE Park. We thought it was a great place to stay as one of my friends and I had stayed there in May 2005. My friends cancelled their holiday in Spain to stay at EGE Park so I went with them. I would stay at EGE Park every time I went to Marmaris.
The location is excellent it's not too far from beach and although it's the other end from the Marina who wants to stay up there with all the hustle and bustle.
I thought the cleanliness of the apartments was ok although when in the shower the bathroom got flooded more often than not but that is the way they do things in Turkey (when in Rome and all that).
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The food in the Hotel was very nice. Nothing was too much trouble for the chef - at Turkish night we had something else because we don't like Turkish food and it was cooked to perfection. The only problem we found was that the sunbeds were decorated with towels first thing in the morning by the children making sure the parents had one when they finally arrived at the poolside.
I used to think it was the Germans reserving the sunbeds but I now believe it's the English! (I'm Welsh!).
I never experienced a cold shower there was always hot water at the times I took a shower.
All in all the staff were excellent with the children and adults alike. I had a brilliant holiday and would recommend EGE Park to anyone. I am hoping to go back in October for another blissful week in the Sun and EGE Park but if I am unable to get there I will most definitely be visiting EGE Park again next year. Keep up the good work Management and staff I think you are brill!

| said: On entering the room just wanted to cry. 5 children to sleep in a smelly, mouldy place. Bad points, no cot on arrival for baby after 2 times of asking got one with no sheets and the mattress wee stained.
Hob wires taped with non insulation tape (changed after rep saw), shower head broken and not fixed to wall after 3 attempts by maintenance man (haha)to fix still hand held by end of two weeks, mould in whole apartment mainly in bathroom, other peoples faecus on toilet brush, cracked window reported no one fixed so when daughter shut door glass fell out and cut daughters arm. Husband tried to take out and cut wrist.
Rep saw and wanted replaced that evening though Turkish night so rep had to get fixed next day so new glass held in by 2 nails then rep had to get sealed. An accident waiting to happen.
Electrical wires hanging out in kids bedroom and plug socket hanging of wall, broken window in living sleeping area no handle so any child could fall out, not enough crockery cutlery to eat a meal as a family of 7, no tin opener sharp knife bottle opener meaning though self catering you can't so have to eat ege park food.
All above mentioned to rep and report done but main response was its Turkey.
I expect from an English company some health and saftey awareness for both children and adults alike.
Remember to give tips because if you don't once you buy a drink they have no change so there you have given tip.
Lighting very poor, noise is terrible mainly initiated by staff including loud music from 8am-4am lovely when you really want the children to sleep (not) remember a family orientated hotel not 18-30.
One day husband complained the green slip mat had gone from around the pool peter andre lookalike put thumbs up walked away later my daughter and another girl seperate times slipped hurt themselves of which rep saw only when 2 accidents occured did the green slip mat appeared.
When being given food remember to bring tissues to wipe fingers if you want to eat hot as when you ask 4 cutlery told to hang on and then when you go looking the staff are smoking behind bar and then you are given wet ones.
Also be mindful of cats as when food cooking they appear and jump 4 your food. The hotel dog zippet loves to frequent the chefs cooking area at times if not the chef is throwing him chicken from the kitchen as the rep says its not England its Turkey.
Good point lovely quiet swimming pool though this is across the road at the gok hotel great with kids, not wanting them upset by loud music though has music in day at a level you can chat and be heard.
Lovely food without fear of either a dog or cat licking your food before you. No expectation of a tip always got change or will get it straight away thats when you feel like giving a tip.
Never will I expect to pay the money I did through a travel agent to then pass on to a travel company and get such a down trodden place, it would have been better to live in a shack well would have been cleaner (no joke) and with a rep who only has to say its Turkey forget about health and saftey and hygiene.
We were there 2 weeks and was aware of 6 couples moving to a different hotel and then at least 12 families moving to other apartments.
I am told block B was better we were in block A.
At end of 2 weeks the cheek of Peter Andre lookalike to ask for 25lira to pay for the broken glass just topped of the holiday from hell of course we never paid and complained to rep and manager who were un aware we were asked to pay this so there peter andre trying to get another tip.

The rooms were basic but what do you expect for a cheap holiday. This is the second time this year we have visited these apartments and had a fantastic holiday we ate there everyday for breakfast and walked into the town which took about 15 mins it is a totally fascinating experience with waiters going out of their way to be helpful.
The children want to go back to EGE Park next year as they enjoyed it so much. The staff were very helpful. The entertainment was good the children were facinated with turkish night. There was so much going on the children never got bored.
We are definitely going back next year a big thank-you to the staff - see you soon.

The hotel was well located,near to shops and supermarket,5 minute walk to beach.

The entertainment was excellent,fire eaters,belly dancers,even during the day, round the pool, the staff were entertaining everybody.
My family and me took home some brilliant memories of the fab time we had in Marmaris.

| said: On booking I requested a low floor as there are no lifts and I am unable to manage stairs. I was given the top floor. The apartment was unbearable and in spite of frequent requests to move this was denied.
There was obvious favouritism towards guests who frequented the hotel bar and participated in throwing various objects into the small awimming pool including cats and dogs.
There are no childrens facilities apart from a small area of the main pool about 2 metres square. The noise of doors banging all through the night cuused anxiety fro most of the guests and the beds are little more than camp beds which left us in discomfort.
During the 2 weeks we had 1 night of entertainment and only ate at the hotel once. The bar staff enjoy forgetting to give you change and over charging compared to supermarket prices.
We spent a fortune on excursions to get away from the place and along with many other guests visited other apartments to use their swimming pools.
The cold showers are quite welcoming at times during the heat of the day (and night) but never ever walk without shoes as showers soak the floors and bring up dirt from the drain and around the sinks.
The place smells bad too and the lighting on the stairs is a danger as if you are too slow or too small you do not catch the sensor and have to walk up in the dark or wave your arms around.
Watch the electrical appliances for bare wires on the cooking rings and have a glance at the underground kitchens and the hygiene!
Its close enough to the beach and the supermarket but can get tiresome when you walk further than you think and have to walk back.
I would not return, nor would I reccommend this apartment unless you have no children,like noise, dirt and staff who are more interested in dangerous activities, adults who do not set a good example to the children or if you don't mind sunbathing with loud music and the smell of greasy chips all day.

| said: We travelled to the Ege Park Apartments last two weeks of July and had an absolutely fab holiday.
Although the rooms were basic (don't forget you get what you pay for!) The maids were brilliant, in the rooms everyday to empty the bins sweep the floors and make the beds.
We didn't really eat much in the apartments but the food that we did get was very good.
The location was fine just a five minute walk to the sea front and the main bars and restaurants, also a supermarket just next door that was reasonable to get your daily necessities (bread, milk, British newspapers 13;30 the same day).
The staff at the apartments were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them, very friendly to everybody and excellent with the kids. The kids enjoyed the daily ritual of the lads from the bar throwing all the mam's and dad's into the pool (but when its 45 degrees who's bothered).
Yes I think we would definitely consider going back to the Ege Park especially next season because all the rooms are supposed to be going to be refurbished during this close season.

We thought the rooms were very clean for the area that you are visiting and for the rate of the apartments, the maids made sure that the bins were emptied on a daily basis and our beds were changed regularly, and if you asked them to change your beds they would.
For the people who never stopped complaining, what do you expect for a cheap holiday! a private maid 24/7!
The bar food was very nice and we ate regualarly there, especially the chicken pizza, and the chef and his assistant were very pleasent if you ever wanted anything and they did not have it they would go out of there way to get it for you!
The location was just right, it is about five mins walk from the beach and to the local supermarket, it is about five mins taxi ride to the bar street, but who wants to live on top of that for two weeks!
The hotel staff are fantastic, thay are always there if you ever need anything, with big smiles and quirky comments, we will miss you all very much!
Entertainment at the hotel is what you make it, they have a great Turkish night, and yeah the belly dancer does ask for tips, but it is also there tradition to do so!
We were also taken down the bar street by the manager and some bar staff, who looked after the big group and made sure that we all stuck together and everyone was ok, which I thought was an excellent idea, they never left our sides and were gentlemen all night!
As for people being thrown in the pool it was a great laugh and is a trademark to this place, and when its 45 degrees out there who doesnt want chucking in the pool!
The boys kept the entertainment and the spirits high of everyone during the day!
Yes we will visit this hotel again, the apartment and the staff made our holiday, we made great friends and we will see you all in September! Thanks Ege!!!!

| said: We arrived at Ege Park about 11.30pm on the 17/06/05 to be greeted by a misrable member of staff, who showed us our hovel, as we walked in I wanted to just burst in to tears as it was damp, dark, and really smelly.
Looked like it had never been cleaned. The electrics were dangerous and hanging off the wall. The door handle was broken therefore when we wanted to shut the door or open it the handle would come off in your hand, which was a fire hazzard.
The pool area and the pool itself was filthy and I would not allow the children to swim in it.
We had to stay for one night but after complaining were able to move at a cost. We were not the only family complaining and demanding to move!
We would not recomend Ege Park apartments to anyone! It sould be condemmned!

| said: The hotel rooms were not as per brochure, the rooms were inhabitable and in need of a good clean, and overall the hotel need renovation.
The apartment was damp and smelt of mould. The doors of the rooms were in a poor state and the locks were stiff and needed replacing.
The hotel staff were unprofessional and unhelpful and I would never stay at the hotel ever again. We booked for one week and we stayed there for one night.

Its true about having cold showers but what do you expect in Turkey. I thought the staff were fantastic(especially the Peter Andre lookalike) they made you feel right at home.
I thought the cleaning was no different from any other hotel I have visited.
The apartments were very lively but I would say they are more 18-30's than a family hotel not that im complaining as im only 19.
I cant express how much I loved this holiday I would recommend it to anyone and I'm definately going back next year.xxxx

| said: We arrived at Ege park on the 5/06/05, for two weeks. The apartment was basic but was what we expected. Floors were brushed and bins emptied on a daily basis, our towels and sheets were changed twice a week. We did have cold showers now and again but that is to be expexted in Turkey.
Location was fine and just a walk away from the beach and night life.
Staff were extremely pleasent and courteous.
We didn't really stay in for the entertainment as we wanted to see around our resort.
I would definitely visit this hotel again.

| said: I will start with the worse bits first, the rooms were very basic and smelled a bit musty.
It was hit and miss with the showers I had about 3 hot showers in the two weeks we was there. The trick is to have a shower when nobody else does say about 4 pm.
The cooking facilities was not very good, we had to buy a sharp knife because theres wouldn't cut the bread.
The lollies were double the price of the shop which is about a min away so we sent the kids to the shop for theres.
The towels and bedding only got changed once in the two weeks. They have a Turkish night on every thurs for 25 lira each but you can haggle we got 2 kids free I think we paid 65 lira for 2 adults + 3 kids you get a buffet style barbique and the first drink free and they lay on entertainment i.e belly dancers who come round after collecting money off you which is abit of a cheek.
I also think around the pool is a accident waiting to happen, the staff push people in the pool and each other when the pool is full of kids I know its only a laugh but I think its dangerous.
Make sure you ware shoes around the pool area cos theres glass on the floor 1 or 2 of the kids got splinters in there feet.
Now for the good bits as I said the rooms are very basic it didn't bother me to much though I was told the owner only bought it last year and is doing it up a bit each year he did the bar area last year with a up stairs for sunbathing he said this year he is starting on the rooms.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are quite good value and one of the staff looks like peter andrea mmm.

| said: The apartments were disgusting, there was mould on the curtains damp on the walls and we were without hot water for 5 days baring in mind we had a 5 month old baby with us.
We complained to the rep without any success and found out on our last day that she had resigned from the company.
The staff were ok to a point however the music was played at such a level that you had to shout at each other just to be heard. One member of staff made advances towards my daughter and when she spurned them he completely blanked us and even refused to serve us at one point.
We were so fed up we had to resort to packing towels etc and using the beach for most of the holiday just to get some peace and quiet

| said: My cousin and I had been to the Ege Park Apartments for two years and had a really great time but when we went in 2004 they tried to put us in a different lot of apartments which were round the corner from the property we know as Ege Park. I think they were a completely different lot of apartments. They were disgusting and we refused to stay there. Luckily, because we had stayed there previously we knew that they weren't what we had booked. They also tried to put us in a one bed apartment when we had booked and paid for a two bed apartment. When we complained about this, the chef was indifferent, and when we refused to move out of the office until we were moved, he became obnoxious and remained like that towards us for the rest of our stay.
It's a shame because we liked the location and the rest of the staff, but we don't feel we could stay there again.

| said: This was the best Holiday ever! Turkey is extremely cheap which enable us to go on many day trips and drink to our hearts content. The turkish people are lovely especially at Ege Park apartments! (I agree with the Peter Andre comment eariler!) once we ventured behind the bar to teach the turks a thing or two about cocktails!
The room was basic, but we had a great view of the pool and a balcony on the 4th floor. It's so close to the beach, just a 5 minute walk, and you could walk to centre quite easily.
