| said: I was very impressed with the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and everything looked new. We spent a lot of time by the pool and the bar was friendly, the music good but not obtrusive, the entertainment available but not overwhelming, and the pool was lovely.
We had one meal in the restaurant, the night they were one for two, and the buffet was very good, though I'm not sure I would have chosen to eat there much more often. And I saw very few others in there on other nights. It looked a wee bit dark and not very inviting.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable although the tv has limited stations unless you pay. And we found out on the day we left that you can hire fans from reception - I spent some time awake suffering frm the heat!
The only drawback, which did not really affect us, due to the position of our room, is that there is building work going on up the hill and you can hear a pile driver.
