| said: We stayed in the parthenis palace in the beginning of july and on arrival we was surprised how nice the apartments were as they were so close to the strip in malia. Perfect walk for the nightlife only a 5-10 minute stroll so no need for a cab.
our apartments were the block at the back rather thean the block over looking the pool and after seeing the pool view apartments ours seemed in better condition and newer.
we was always able to get a sunbed around the pool but this was probably because everybody wakes up in the afternoon.
during the peak summer months i would definitely recommend to the young.
the two downsides were the air conditioning didn't seem to be very cold, and there weren't many restaurants close by. the food at the snack bar was ok but did get boring. would recommend the red lion on the strip!
would definitely go back

The full English was boss especially because it was my birthday and we got quite drunk and needed it badly and Michael behind the bar was lovely except he still owes me birthday cake!
The room was lovely and clean the only bad thing was having to check out of our rrom early and leave our luggage out by the pool and the communal toilets werent very nice.

| said: parthenis palace is a great place to stay. once we arrived after having a 6 hour delay at the airport all we needed was a rubbish hotel. but arriving at parthenis palace we knew it would make up for the rubbish flight.
we stayed in the back block of apartments which were very clean and cleaned 3 times in the week.
the apartments not really well equipped for self catering but as we ate out every night that was not an issue for us.
the location was brilliant, with just a short walk to the beach and to the strip for a night out.
i would definately visit this hotel again as i had a brilliant holiday and wished i'd stayed longer. me and my 8 friends made great friends with the rep and yiannis behind the bar. yiannis often became dennis when we were drunk and couldn't remember his name!!!
also security was very good, making sure you were quiet when coming in from a night out.
overall a 10/10 holiday!!!

| said: The cleaners came round every other day to change towels and make the beds, not convinced the floor was mopped very often though.
We were self catering and not at all impressed with the facilities, a kettle and a 2 ring hob, could only really cook pasta! Not even toast for breakfast!
The pool and bar were really nice, clean and relaxing.
Unfortunatly our apartment was broken into while we were out, loads of things were taken including our passports, the staff did not help us at all, didn't even offer to let us use the phone.
This is why we would not return. Great while everything was going ok but a different story when things went wrong.

| said: We stayed in the apartments at the back of the grounds which was further from the pool but very quiet. Our apartment was spotless as is the whole place. The pool and surrounding area was kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times. Really relaxed atmosphere with really friendly staff. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.
Only 5 - 10 minute walk to the lovely beach and there's loads of choice for food, bars and entertainment in Malia or Stalis. Would suit couples, families or singles parties. The bar doubles up as a reception and is open from early in the morning til about 2am. Thomas Cook Rep was also really helpful and friendly.
Highly recommended to all - I'd definately go back to these apartments.

| said: The Parthenis was a great holiday.
Me and my boyfriend went for a quiet fortnight in the sun which we got with staying here.
We stayed at the back block which was quieter as it was away from the pool. the apartmetns were lovely and clean with huge balconies. Tito was great he told us where to visit for dinner also try his cocktails!!
Food was great we mainly went in to Stalis as it was quieter very reasonably priced aswell. I would definetly visit here again if just for the weather which was in the high eighties for the start of September.
Would recommend the Parthenis Palace to everyone!!

| said: Parthenis palace is well situated for both the nightlife in Malia and the quieter side in Stalis, and also only a 5 min walk to a wonderful beach.
The bar was open late with films being shown and the staff very friendly. Nice pool, nice rooms and a massive balcony that overlooked the pool.
It was clean and had all ages staying there, although I have heard it is really buzzing with younger people during the months of July and August.
It has got air con for 40 euros a week (which we didn't use) the electric is a card attached to your key which you put into a slot in your room, (lots of mosquito's there though bitten like crazy).
Only ten Min's walk to Malia beach road nightlife and the same distance from Stalis. Although no reception area you are dropped off at the gate of Parthenis Palace with a key to your door.
If you have any problems you speak with Tito behind the bar, you can also pay 25 euros on the day of your departure to keep your room open after 12 midday rather then leave your cases out by the bar until you leave, great place to stay though we all loved it there.

The Barman was called Tito who was a top friendly guy, and seeing as there is no entertainment he was ours !
The swimming pool was great size, very large tv at the pool bar. The pool bar food was good and cheap.

Tito makes you feel really welcome and his aim is to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible.
If you want a kicking night in Malia or really chilling day by the lovely pool you can't ask for more.

| said: Me and 5 other friends visited Malia last year for one week, after a night flight we were all really tired and agld to arrive.
Hotel looked great on the outside, big pool and modern looking. We were very disapointed with the rooms, the toilet was broke we had to share a double bed, not what you want in the heat.
The cleaning staff gave us two head towels between us every 3days, left our door unlocked, let the toilet roll run out. Bathroom was tiny, not great for 3 girls gettin ready at night.
Barmen were nice. Bit of a walk from the nightlife, would not reccommened to people who want lively as you are constantly getting told to be quiet and have security in an out of your room without knocking.

| said: My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Parthenis Palace.
It was perfectly situated near enough to the resort center but it was still nice and quiet. We relaxed by the pool each day as the bar was very well run by a nice guy called Tito. They provided excellent snacks and in order to relax we didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. Tito gave us good advice about eating places to try in the evenings.
The place was well kept, clean and tidy. We would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

| said: This was by far the most pleasant accommodation that I have ever used on a Greek Island holiday and I have been on many.
The rooms were very well decorated to a high standard and kept spotlessly clean.
There are two accommodation blocks, one near the pool/bar and one a little further removed.
The pool block is less suitable for a quiet holiday due to it's location.
The rooms have a/c which can be set to warm the room. This was useful in early May.
Can't fault it. Check out Tito at the pool bar. He makes everything happen with a smile.

| said: Parthenis Palace is excellent in my opinion. Although it is self catering I have given it 4 stars for food as Tito who runs the bar does some wonderful breakfasts and burgers, etc. and the bar which is right by the pool, which ample in size unless you demand an olympic size pool.
It is close enough to be near the night life of Malia, which is a 10 ,minute walk at most, but far enough away to be peaceful. It is between Malia and Stalis.
By the way, if you want to rent a car, then I can highly recommend the place at the bottom of the road. Head down from the hotel towards the sea, turn right and it is immediately on the left.
Eurocars I think it was called. Good cars and a good deal on price, which is negotiable, especially if you pay cash instead of credit card.
We got a Citroen C3 convertible (which is one of the more expensive cars) for a week for 175 euros with everything included. (Remember that was in April though and not in the peak season).

| said: As there was six of us we decided to take three apartments, two to a room. When we arrived however, we realised that three people could very comfortably stay in one. Doh!
The apartments were very modern, spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable which reflected throughout the complex. Situated in a very quiet area, the grounds in which they were positioned were very well kept, with an incredibly dishy gardener out tending to them everyday!
The complex had a large pool with a family run bar, serving food most of the day, a barbeque once a week which at 10 euros a head proved extremely good value. The bar also had a pool table, showers, toilets and a huge screen for football (if you're into that kind of thing).
The staff were more than helpful and very friendly. Our rooms were thoroughly cleaned three times a week and although the maids didn't speak a work of english, they were very pleasant.
Parthenis Palace is located 5 minutes from the very busy Malia town and 2 minutes from the beach. Because it is so close to town, no entertainment is provided.
I will definitely be going back there very soon! I'd give it 10 out of 10.

Perfectly situated not too near to the main strip that u hear all the loud music and drunken louts coming home, but near enough walking distance to the shops and bars.
great sized rooms, well kept, great atmosphere and great grass area where we spent many an early evening playing football.
Intend to stay here againt he next time we go to Malia.
