| said: Hi, i have just come back from this hotel today and it was the worst holiday i have had in 9 years of visiting marmaris. From our rooms there was money, clothes, underwear and towles taken, by whom we dont know but suspect the cleaners. this hotel has very little entertainment unless you entertain yourselves. the staff behind the bar (Sam and Sehan) were very nice and funny, this is th eonly good thing about this hotel. i would advice anyone booking to go to this hotel not to, go somewhere better for the same money, there are better places out there, believe me i stayed in them.

| said: All the staff were friendly and hard working. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Bedding and towels were grey and stained but were changed regulary. The food was always hot and well cooked and the bar staff were friendly at any hour, The pool area was extremely slippery so wear shoes around the pool as both my daughter and husband slipped and hurt theirselves tho thankfully not badly. The best restaurant we found nearby was the Piccadilly exellent food staff and prices!

| said: The rooms were very basic! the first day we got there we bought the air con and the safe which came to £35 which we had paid! in the night time they tried to say we didnt pay it, which really annoyed us! the appartments overall was very clean but our room was a mess! there were 3 of us stayin in the room and not once did we have clean bedding or clean towls! on our last day they charged us 40 ytl for dirty towels which i think is not fair! the staff were rude except for one! i would never come back to olive appartments!

| said: the maid worked very hard in keeping these apartments clean and fresh.the staff were exellent especially the manager in reception,michael and sam who was an absolute gem.they all made us feel very welcome.

| said: Just got back from Olive yesterday.. I would say its one of the best holidays we have been on in a good few years... yes the rooms are basic but clean and does the job.. The bar staff were the best around alway up for a laugh and made you feel very welcome they would do anything for you.. will be back next year with ALL the family they might not know what has hit them lol..

| said: If any single females are thinking about booking to go to these apartments in summer 2008 then I would advise against it. Having been to Marmiras on three other occasions I know for a fact that there is better and safer accomodation available than these unclean dumps. Couples and familes who were at the Olive apartments at the same time as us didn't seem to have a problem but my friend and I were constantly being pestered by male employees, when we rejected them they didn't take it well and were rude to us on every occasion after that, they made us feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. The experience we had has put me of returning to Marmiras or even Turkey again. Planning on going somewhere more civilised in the future.

| said: I think this hotel/apartment was the best i've stayed in, 2007, all the staff are very friendly especially Sam and Jemo, the maid was really nice aswell... i liked everything about the apartments, the pool was really nice , the food/drinks from the bar were too.. its only a few minutes away from the beach and the walk will do u good.x

I stayed at Olive for 2 weeks with my partner and my daughter 14yrs on Aug 20th-4th sep 07.
The rooms were very pleasant and the staff were brilliant especially bar staff at pearl bar Sam and Jemo they loved a laugh and joke with the guests they made the place.
I would recommend if you want a pleasant atmosphere then go to Olive.
I liked it so much I’m going back next year with a few friends.
Sam and Jemo were a hit with the families staying there, as they are really down to earth not like most resort staff members and they have a chat and joke with you and kids love them.
So if you want a great hol go here there are many things to see and do there on tours.
And for a good night out I recommend Faros on the beach front the staff there are brilliant and the meals a really nice they take payment in UK sterling/Euros and Dollars.

| said: This hotel is a must go to. The rooms are very basic but did the job. Sam, Jemo and Ali are great with the children which makes our holiday so much easier and relaxing with out entertainment. The staff cant help you enough.

| said: i stayed in the olive apartments great hotel staff are very helpful would do anything to help you we arrived with 2 children 1 aged 9 the other 15 we were giving a top floor apartment which i didnt want so i asked for a bottom floor apartment and they moved me there and then with no bother i was wright at the pool side the bar staff helped me out when i was looking for good restarants to eat out at night and they along with the cook ali entertained the kids througout the day i have reccomended this hotel to all my friends and anybody visiting marmaris to stay in most have gone and cant wait to go back your close to the beach and the town and very quiet at night had a fantastic time enjoy your self if you go all the best p.s have been in different appartments before and olive beats them no probs sould be 5 star

| said: We have been to Marmaris nearly 7 years now. We have stayed at the Olive Aparts for 2 years and loved every little bit of our stay.
We stayed at Olive Aparts on 23rd July 2007, the staff are very friendly and funny especially Sam, Jemo and Omar, the girls loved pushing them in the pool and cant wait to go back. We are definiately going back to stay in Olive Aparts another time.
The pool is just the right size not to big or not to small.This hotel should be known as the friendliest, most lied back, family hotel.

| said: We have just returned from a week in the olive appartments in Marmaris , Turkey.
The apartments are basic but adequate and for us was in a great location as very close to seafront and shops but far away enough that wasn't noisy at night!
Staff were very nice and friendly and really loved the children!
The pool area is quite small but we never had a problem with it and again children thought it was brilliant - on the downside it closed nightly at six.
The only other negative about these apartments is that although maids tidied beds everyday they only changed sheets once and left us with no toilet rolls for about 4 days!

| said: We would not recommend these apartments as it was not clean, we did not receive any clean linen or towels the whole week we were there.
The pool area was over run with a group of English guys who were very rude and disrespectful to others staying at the apartments.
No action was taken by staff when we complained and the rep was nowhere to be seen the entire week.
Have stayed in better hostels while backpacking round Asia!!!!
Would not recommend these apartments to anyone especially young females as we hassled throughout our stay, having to barricade ourselves in our room on two occasions to stop people coming into the room.

| said: As there were not a lot of previous reviews on this hotel, was a bit anxious before arrival. We were on fourth floor, which we expected as we booked an attic room which was cheaper. On arrival, all staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Basic, clean, small and friendly. As expressed in previous reports, excellent base for getting to all areas easily in the resort.
Food in pool bar/restaurant basic but adequate if you did not want to go out to eat. Both bar men, Sam and Jemmo top men!! The kids (15 and 12) loved their good humour, especially the throwing into the pool of everyone, including the maid and the pool man!!
This hotel deserves to be recognised as a good, self catering family hotel with a very relaxed laid back atmosphere.

| said: We have been going to Marmaris for the last 6 years, yet we found the Olive to be the friendliest.
We stayed at the Olive in July 2006 for 2 weeks, we had a great time and the girls loved it, this is a very friendly place and the staff are brilliant especially Crazy Sam and Cemo, they are both brill and are always on hand if you need anything.
We are going back to the Olive in July 2007.

| said: We stayed at these apartments everytime we have visited Marmaris. We have never had a problem. I am going again this year in September on my own. I have no worries about my safety. I know I will be treated with respect by all the staff. they are all very friendly and can't do enough for you.

| said: Me and my partner go to Olive apartments every year we have went there for the past 3 years. We took my mum my son and his family to the Olive apart but me and my mum are going ourselves this year 2007 for two weeks in July because they are great people they look after you.
The family that run the apartments are very nice people so is the bar staff and the cook as well. They make sure you have a good time see you all in July the 17 my mum love the place as she is 78 years old

| said: This was my second visit to Olive Apartments and I would come back again.
They are the most friendly apts I have ever stayed in.The staff are wonderful especially the bar staff sam and jemo they are very entertaining and cant do enough for you nothing is a bother to them.
They made us laugh with their jokes and bar tricks and gave us good advice about where to shop for bargains and all the best places to visit. Our holiday was all the better because of their good humour and we will be back again.
I wouldnt stay anywhere else now

Turkey is a great place will be visiting again next year,
The hotel staff were very nice especially reception,the bar staff were gr8 to Sam and Jammo when we go back to Turkey if we dont stay at the Olive we will be visiting deffinitely to say hello!
The music was to a reasonable standard too it was off for about 1.00am and was on about 10.00am which was fine!
The only bad point was the towels only got changed every 2 days but apart from that they are lovely apartments

| said: We have visited these apartments on several occasions and this year they were spotless as usual.
The bar staff have changed recently but the two barman (Sam & Cemo) were great. They played with the children and adults alike. The music was usually switched on at 9am and turned down low after 11.30pm.
I will definitely be booking again for next year.
