| said: I booked this hotel as from the brochure it looked fantastic for my honeymoon, but overall it was a holiday from hell. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cold drink and filled some forms in and then offered an upgrade of £300 to the honeymoon suite of which i declined!
The room we were offered was located right at the back with a mountain view which was lovely, although there was a shop that blurred music out very loudly and not in english. Room service was 7 times a day, although we never tipped him until the end he did make swans on the bed out of towels which was lovely.
The food was fantastic for the 1st couple of days then got very repetitive with chiken, beef and pasta 3 times a day. The beach food is good but the burger bread was fried and to big, the grilled chiken was not cooked properly either so be careful.
Entertainment was good for the 1st 3 days then went sour, but we complained and the animation staffed seemed to get more involved during the day activities. Although in the 2nd week they were no-where to be seen.
However the staff are lovely but when they get an order of drinks wrong they can be very off hand with you for the rest of your holiday of which we found out.
It is a belguim owned hotel and its very popular with french people who can be very ignorant when at meal times or at night.
I will not be returning to this hotel ever, as it wasnt for me but however please do be not put off by my experience as alot of friends we made out there are returning this year.

| said: We visited El Wekala in November, I didnt know anything about Taba so couldnt wait to look around.
I thought El Wekala was very clean and not far from airport which is great because I hate long transfers (took about 45 mins).
Staff were very pleasant and really nice people and genuinely seemed interested in what you had to say, they dont expect tips but are absolutely delighted when you give them. We only did this at the end of hol.
Pool is lovely and cleaned often. Only snag is Hotel can overshadow the pool area early on, about 2pm so try and sunbathe in an area where you wont be overshadowed, this does mean going out very early - 8am - to put out your towel. We went in Nov and sun had gone completely by 3.30pm and it was pitch black by 5.30! So get out sunbathing early.
The entertainment is poor unfortunately. We went to the other restaurants in hotel complex, food was beautiful and we got a 20% discount each off the bill for being a guest at El Wekala. Food in hotel is nice and varied but we did fancy a venture out as got sick of every night in hotel. Wouldnt like to stay 14 nights, 7 is ample with being a quiet resort.
We went to look at other hotels for future reference. Intercontinental looks fab, we had our welcome meeting there and looks the best in resort.
Sofitel also lovely.
Peanuts Bar has lovely wine but you cant sit in the bar as it smells of sick! I think its something they clean the wood with, dont think it was actually vomit but it can be quite overpowering but there are plenty of seats to sit outside at night.
The resort of Taba Heights itself is very quiet as there are only 5 hotels but they are building more and I'm sure soon it will be a very good up and coming place.
We did get the shuttle bus to the El Wekala area of the beach one day, it was wild and windy that day which left me with wind burn but I enjoyed my day, was a change from the pool. It was nice to walk along the beach and look at other hotels for future ref, you can walk in others and look around no problem, we did get our bag searched by security which is understandable.

Can you imagine my horror when i see that the dining room is now dirty, the staff looked like they had been fixing cars before they went to work and forgot to change, i wonder what the kitchen looked like? Both my partner and I got sick as did many people and felt obliged to eat in the restaurants next to the hotel once we had recovered. It has been suggested that this was due to handling eygptian money - how can that be in an all inclusive? I would never every go back to this hotel.

We had teenage boy with us so quite boring at night for him, spent a good deal of time in the room watching american tv channels.
Food is excellent. Would recommend days on the beach after a couple of days the beach attendant put out our towels in the same place and looked after inflatables over night which was a good help. The food at the beach not included in all inclusive but worth the additional cost.
We would return to this hotel but a week would be long enough

| said: Have just returned from 2 weeks at The Three Corners El Ewkala Hotel
I have to say that that I went out with some fears about what to expect but they soon disappeared.
Although we were delayed by 3 hours going out the staff still met us with a cold drink and a smile and carried our bags to our room.
We had chosen to upgrade to a Duplex room and were glad that we did as it gave us a little extra space, the room had a fridge and hairdryer plus shower rather than a bath.
The weather was boiling between 42 and 48 for the fortnight and we were glad we had stocked up with sun cream.
We found the pool a little busy in the mornings and whilst It does state that the claiming of sun beds before the pool is open is frowned upon but it does happen although this may be due to a little tip to the pool guy to save your bed!
We usually went to the beach until 1.30 or so and then back to the hotel for lunch, a little siesta and then down to the pool about 4.00 for a couple of hours.
Overall the food was good if a little repetitive but have to say that it was more than edible every day and they do have some wonderful cakes!!!!!!!
If you want to go snorkelling I can recommend going off the Hyatt's pier as there are some wonderful corals and fish there, also the pier at the Sofitel is good fun.
We saw nothing of the First Choice rep except on arrival in Taba and on the coach going home that said we did not need him, others did and found him to be good.
Entertainment is a bit of a letdown really and the only thing that needs some work on, that said I also think that we as holiday makers need to get a bit more involved when asked.
I would suggest talking to Max (in the reception area) regarding trips as he is much better value than the reps and the trip we went on consisted of Quad Bikes for an hour and a half, a Jeep Safari to the Blue Hole, lunch snorkelling for 2 hours and then a camel ride all for £35.00 p/p you cant beat it.
Marios supermarket is great value for bits and bobs and if you want to buy any inflatable then we got a big shark and a crocodile they will also blow them up for you saving your lungs!
Tipping is up to you really and the hands of the people of the hotel are not outstretched all the time, we tipped as and when we felt like it and that seemed to be fine.
Al in all we had a great time and would we go again well that would be a definite YES.

| said: It was 1am in Taba by the time we arrived and it was still very warm. We were welcomed with a cold glass of orange juice which was very welcoming as we had had a very long day after being delayed at Gatwick for 4 hours.
The Hotel was very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful, if you want to tip they are greatful but they do not always expect it, we gave to the porter who ran up the stairs with our suitcases (which were not light)but then we didn't give again until the end of our holiday when we gave to Sharif (pool boy) who always had a smile and would help around the pool and the man who cleans our room each day. The food leaves a lot to be desired, we are not fussy eaters but unless you like Beef and chicken braised, stewed, boiled but never roasted covered in onions and peppers you will be OK. There is a good selection but it is very repeatative, breakfast was the same every morning, with the exception of mashed potato or potato chunks which alternated. We had fresh fruit twice in the week which was water melon one day and orange segments another. If you have a nut allergy please let them know as there is Coconut or nuts on nearly every dessert, the fresh bread and rolls at meal time are lovely. This is listed as an All inclusive Hotel but snack in the afternoon are not included, so if you had a late breakfast and don't fancy lunch you will have to wait until the evening meal or pay at the pool bar for some thing. Down on the beach you have to buy your food, all soft drinks and coffee is included but you will need to buy your alcohol. There are water containers around the hotel and the beach for you to refill your bottles, we brought a couple or big bottles from the shop and kept them in the fridge and then we would refill them at the end of the day ready for the next.
It is about 5 minutes bus ride down to the beach (20 minutes walk down, 30 minutes back up), there didn't seem to be any time table as to when these little blue buses would come so you had to sit out in the sun as there is no shade anywhere, for up to 30 minutes. The hotel has a shuttle bus (its a people carrier)but again no set time.
If you want a game of golf while you are on holiday the course is very good and the greens are very well looked after( so my friend says who got up at 5.30 so he could tee off at 6am). It is a long walk down to the club house and again back up to the hotel as the shuttel bus runs when it wants to again no time table. Some of the Hotels nearer the Club House had golf buggies in front of their hotels but not at Three Corners.
The entertainment was very poor, we only went to one show and it was titled Oriental but there was nothing oriental about it they did nearly the same dance to to different music with a quick costume change in between, it was more fun watching the animation team from days joking around behind them. We knew the entertainment was poor before we went so we were not disappointed. The days entertain manly consisted of Water Polo, Aqua Gym, Darts and salsa dancing, we went for a relaxing week in the sun so we were quite happy to sit by the pool or on the beach.

| said: We have just returned from a weeks stay in the three corners Hotel Taba.
Overall we found this site increadibly useful when selecting our holiday and would like to contribute our review to aid other people in making the decision whether to come to this hotel and resort or not.
One thing I would like to first point out is tipping, from reading other threads we were rather concerned that we would be having to tip constantly and would get poor service if we didnt, the only person we tipped was the porter, we felt we didnt get any less or more service than any other person staying at the hotel by not tipping and staff certainly didnt expect it, all I would say is tip at you're own discretion.
To begin with we had a very plesent journey from the airport to the hotel and were greated with a warm and freindly reception, it helped that we had a chance on the bus to fill out the required information for checking in and this really helped speed up the process of checking in.
Having stayed in a AI hotel before, I was assuming the room to be fairly small, but our room was large and spacious and had a breath taking view of the sinai mountains. The bathroom was big and included a shower room.
I have to say we both found the cleanliness of the hotel excellent, the rooms were cleaned daily and left in immaculate condition, the majourity of the time the pool area was spotless and the waiters kept the dining area clean at all times.
The archetecture of the hotel was also of a arabic style and deffinatly made you feel like you were in Egypt and not in a generic resort any where in the world. We found there were several shops, a supermarket, bank and pharmacy behind the hotel and was surprised to find the supermarket sold English brands and the shops sold all of you're traditional egyption souviniers.
The main hotel pool was huge and looked bairly used and we were able to get a sunbed every day without a problem, however when we stayed the hotel was 1/2 full, so I can imagine the area geting fairly busy during peak season.
We found the beach also conformed to the high standards and decor of the hotel, although you could deffinatly tell the sand had been brought in. I would advise you bring sandles or buy beach shoes in one of the hotels shops as it is hard to enter the sea from the beach as its rocky, alternatively walk 10 meters up the beach and use the Sofitels jetty (its free), it made geting in and out of the water very easy. We both are novice snorklers and found the sea life amasing, my wife swam with turtles and one day we saw lots of rays, the coral reef runs parrallel to the beach for miles, however we found there was little sea life at WaterWorld and assumed this was more for diving so if you're just interested in snorkling id advise not to go there, Bearing this in mind we cant compare the sea life to other resorts and heard from other couples they were dissapointed with the sea life compared to Sharm and other holidays, so if you're going strickly for the snorkelling/diving I would do some further research in to whats actually there. There was a shuttle bus that run, or a waterworld bus and we didnt have to wait long at all to take the 1 minute journey from the hotel to the beach.
Id have to say the food quality was preety average and reminded me of the standard of food I had many years ago whilst at catered univeristy halls and at school, it is just bog standard mass produced food. Bearing that in mind the variety was huge and there were deffinatly different dishes every day from all parts of the world. We both agreed that we can see why people could love the food or hate it, all I can advise is not to expect Gordon Ramsey quality food.
I did have an upset stomach for a few days, although we cant be certain whether it was down to to the food or just a change in diet, it did not intrued on the holiday and after a few hydration packs it went after a couple of days.
we felt the entertainment is the only real let down of the hotel, this is partly due to the staff but also the guests. During the day it semmed they had an ongoing game of waterpolo, we were invited to play on our first day, but polietly said no, after this we were not bothered again, but felt the entertainment staff were quite rude to us after this, we also heard that several other couples felt this way. The entertainment in the evening, during 1/2 of the stay they didnt bother to put anything on and the other 1/2 we wished they hadnt bothered. Bearing that in mind we were there with a view and felt other guests had the same of a relaxing week/two in the sun and did not want to get involved in the entertainment at night or pool games.
We were very happy just to spend evenings sat on the terrace enjoying a drink and looking out on the view of Saudi Arabia.
The staff at the hotel have been trained to an increadbily high standard, we really did not have any quarms with them at all, The towel guy at the pool and captain at the pool bar, were really freindly, the guys in penuts bar by our second day, knew our drinks and had them waiting for us as soon as we had entered the bar and you were always greated with a smile in the restaraunt.
We did not eat at any other of the restauraunts on the complex as im not really a fan of mexican, indian or thai food. We also did not go on any excersions as we felt some of them were increadibly over priced, but generally enjoyed spending time by the pool than exploring egypt.
In conclusion the hotel fulfilled what we had wanted a relaxing week in the sun and to try a bit of snorkling, id have to say if we were there another week we may have got a bit bored, as there is nothing else in the whole resort. Id advise anyone who is looking for anything than to sit by a pool everyday and not do anything else to go elsewhere as we felt the purpose of the resort was just to fulfil that function, but did it extremely well.
Would we go back to Taba, maybe in 10 years time or so, to see if anything has happend to it, or just for a relaxing week in the sun, but both agreed we would like to see other parts of Egypt.

| said: My wife and I stayed at the El Wekala Three Corners Hotel for 14 nights from the 1st May 2007.
Check in procedure was made alot easier by First Choice handing out registration forms and all inclusive wrist bands on the coach, this is a good idea.
On arrival our check in was easy and we were shown to our room, we had paid extra for a partial see view room but the sea view was questionable.
The room was spacious with a multi channel tv, free fridge, free safe, good sized wardrobes, twin or double beds, bathroom with walk in shower (no bath) toilet and wash hand basin. The room was nicely decorated and included a balcony, air conditioning good.
The restaurent was of a good size with plenty of seating, food as a 3* standard, buffet service, salad bar, hot food area, desert area, good waiter service for drinks, themed evenings which really did not differ from any other night.
Snacks on the terrace between 1600 and 1700 on certain days.
Excellent large swimming pool with a smaller childrens pool, free sunbeds, parasols and towels with a card system. Pool bar open between 1000 and 1800 offering all inclusive soft and alcoholic drinks by the plastic cup plus tea and coffee, food also available but at cost with exception of snacks between 1700 and 1800.
Good activity around the pool during the day and entertainment each evening, good childrens club called 'Trixie'.
Beware of the flies which can become a problem, mainly around the pool, they do bite and produce some nasty looking lumps!!!!
There are two speciality restaurents within the complex at extra charge but you do get an allowance.
Peanuts bar is pleasant and leads out onto the terrace open from 1200 - midnight on all inclusive after that pay bar, beware this is a smoking area and does get unbearable, especially if you are a non smoker.
This is a large complex built high up overlooking the finished golf course towards other hotels and the Red Sea, the hotel reminded us a monastry, numerious small shops within the complex plus a bank, pharmacy and a large supermarket.
The hotel has its own private beach with a free shuttle bus running every half an hour, the beach area also has a small swimming pool and beach bar serving soft drinks only on all inclusive.
We were disappointed with the beach area, the sand was course and led to a very stoney area prior to entering the sea, plus there were signs of oil pollution on the sea close to the beach.
Your all inclusive finishes at 1500 on your departure day irrespective of your arrival time.
The First Choice rep by the name of Sarah was excellent.
The staff at the hotel were excellent and could not do enough for you.
If you like swimming with the fishes, great, otherwise very little to do.
The weather during our stay was changeable, we even had some rain.
Now a word of warning, if you are a vegetarian beware the salad bar contains dishes that do not have any indication of what they contain and it is very difficult to see if they contain meat of fish.
The restaurant supervisor does not know what is in the dishes and he became very agitated after saying the soup contained no meat or fish when actually it contained chicken!!! SO BEWARE.
Numerious guests had to be admitted into the Medical Centre due to upset tummies and becoming dehydrated, so make sure when you vist you have adequate insurance.
We think there are better places to visit, so will not be visiting again.

| said: Three Corners is very clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room was probably the largest we have ever had in a hotel, and the bed the most comfortable. We had a mountain view room which was nice and peaceful although it was quite a walk to the pool, restaurant and bar.
We were all inclusive which we were glad of because the price of alcoholic drinks outside the hotel was very expensive. We did not go to the other hotels in Tabba, there are 5 in all and you are welcome to go to them all for a drink, or as part of a Dine around arrangement which allows you to eat at any other hotel restaurant (not their AI bit) with a discount voucher from Three Corners.
The hotel was away from the other hotels and about 20 mins walk from the sea, but a bus free bus runs every 15 mins between hotels and also calls at Tree Corners private beach. We did go to the beach once, but preferred to be at the hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable, as were all the Egyptian people that we met. Tipping is expected, but having said that you do not feel obliged to, we tended to tip the staff that had given the best service.
The entertainment was poor, centred around the bar and usually just music and the odd performance. Most evenings were spent chatting on the terrace admiring the view from the hotel, because of the position of it all the other hotels were in front and lit up, and across the bay the lights of Israel and Saudi Arabia.
I would only visit again if I could get a really cheap deal, for a chill out week in the sun. Not because there was anything wrong with the hotel, we had a very enjoyable week and I have returned home very relaxed. I just prefer to see more of the country and its people when I travel and Tabba is just for tourists and about as far removed from real Egypt as you can get.
Do take the trip to Cairo, it was the highlight of our visit and lets you see a totally different side of Egypt.

The staff could not do enough for you from the minute you arrived to the musical finale when we left. If you want shops and buzzing night life this is not the place for you but if you want to chill this is the place.
A must do is the quad biking - age does not come into it. Excellent pool and very clean beach about 15 minutes walk.
There is a regular bus if you need it Ignore any bad reviews from a couple of years ago - this hotel has improved no end. We have already booked to go back in november - can't wait.

They made the holiday, so a huge shout out for Yankee, Sam and Abdul!! They were great!!
The food was nice!! Salad bar amazing!!!
The staff could not do enough for you and were not impressed if you tried to do it yourself!! Bless them!!
The bar was just as good, never had to wait long and they did well with the cocktails for us and the group we met.
The staff all round were great and there was so much security I felt safe. I met the famous Tom Cruise and he is as lovely as they say!!
The animation team made the entertainment and even had me and another girl doing a few sketches for the show which was a laugh! As for the well heard of everyday "AQUA GYM!!" AND "WATERPOLO"... we even got volleyball at the beach and pool volleyball!! Cheers to the animation team again!!
I believe that every staff member works their hardest to please everyone and in my case and many others over there that we met this was full of really good people and gave me alot of good memories. It even had a good few tears as we come to the last day as we all knew we were gonna miss everyone over there and the laughs we got even the director of the hotel was up for a giggle!!!
You must go see the kittens in the shop further down from the bikini shop named after us girls - Jade, Sadie, Natalie and Charlotte, and also next to the shop with the paintings and another shop full of glass bottles there is a shop with snorkeling gear and souvenirs there is a sweetheart named Joun who has a turtle called Luke!! must see them!! everyone knows them!!
But no matter what bad comments that have been said about this hotel I believe me and many others on our holiday would agree this is a great place to be and we will all be going back!!!
But in all I would recommend this to anyone, if you want to make it a quiet holiday you can but you can make it as lively as you want... just get involved with the animation team cause they'll make it worth while and keep you happy!!
Were are all going back for the taba 06 reunion next year!! I'm going back this November to Taba but to another hotel but wish I could change it for this one again!!
Also its true about the sunbeds, tip the pool guy and your sorted!!
Hotel location was great only a cooling shuttle bus ride for 3 minutes and your at the beach!!

Food not very exciting and although they have a buffet each night for different parts of the world it was all pretty much the same. All inclusive isn't and there are several places you cannot eat unless you pay. You can eat in the main restaurant and have drinks up till midnight in the Peanuts Bar, however the drinks are not that special.
The whole resort of Taba Heights is linked to the Red Sea Waterworld watch out on prices if you find another company they may well be cheaper, great place for Novice divers, boring for Advanced!!

| said: I had read this page before I travelled to the 3 Corners, so I knew what to expect, and if nothing else it proves the hotel is consistent in its approach and I had very few surprises, but I will tell you all.
Hotel & grounds very clean - even at the pool the pool attendant was sweeping up leaves around the edge.
Tip the pool man small but often (15 Egyptian will suffice), he will then save you your favourite sunbeds, store your lilos / pool balls / rush to help you put up your umbrella etc. overnight to save you carrying them back and forwards to your room.
Pool itself very clean - good for families max depth only 145 cm, smaller walk in area at one end perfect for small children. Room cleaning very good every day, sometimes he would make animals out of the towels.
Even though we travelled over the half term, there were very few children there.
English, Belgian and French guests in a fairly even 1/3 split - the staff prefer the English as apparently our European "friends" are arrogant!
Very hot all the time, we went for 14 days and every one cloudless. During the day there was often a breeze which made things more bearable - it was hot to sit on the patio and eat breakfast at 7.30 AM, between 11 and 4 would be for the serious sunlovers. After 4 is cooler, but the sun has gone from the pool area by 5.50PM even in June. So its worth getting up early to maximise your time in the sun. Nights very sultry, the daytime had vanished.
Golf Course - not finished, no sign of work going on with it.
Safety, I have never felt as safe as I did at the 3 Corners, guards on every entrance to the hotel and a couple inside the grounds. I know with terrorist attacks Egypt has been hit a few times in the last 18 months, but personally never felt safer.
Food - a good mixture to cater for most tastes - children not particularly well catered for. Always a pasta dish, potatoes, meat/fish, vegetables - always plenty of food available. Tip the "omelette man", you will know who he is when you first have breakfast - tip him a couple of times a week, again 10-15 Egyptian and he will give you an extra egg, extra cheese etc.
Animation team good, found it hard to find many volunteers for their activities - they are not my thing, but a polite no on the first couple of days, and then they will not hassle you again, or they will say something like no waterpolo today? My stepsons girlfriend was celebrating her 18th birthday when we were in Egypt and the Animation team presented her with a cake.
Evening entertainment, I wasn't expecting much and there was very little, a few poor shows and a Dj playing R N B.
Internet access available for 25 Egyptian for 1/2 hour or 40 for a hour. Guests seemed to be second to the hotel staff in who was allowed to use it.
Gym - well equipped but it always smelt awful, saw very few people using it.
At the hotel there are a number of shops, the only one with a fixed is the Mario Market - cigarettes 4.50 (45p) for 20 L&M. Yes £4.50 for 200!!!
Suncream and aftersun expensive around £6 a small bottle of each. Take more than enough with you. Smae for any shampoo/toothpaste etc - much more expensive than in the UK.
Disabled access good, lots of ramps to all areas of pool, rooms, restaurant, reception.
On your last day, book your late checkout directly at the hotel - its only 20 Euro. First Choice charged me £26!
Money - within the hotel Euros or Egyptian Pounds work better. In the shops around the hotel it was Egyptian, Sterling or US $ - not Euros.
Taba airport, beware you will be charged for using the toilet (officially for toilet paper), but the men were also charged. The Attendant was quite threating in his manner. Nothing at all before passport control apart from a smoking area. After passport control a overpriced caffeteria charged 10 Egyptian for a can of Sprite/Coke - the same can costs 2 Egyptian at the hotel shops. A couple of souvenir shops also, but otherwise once you are at the airport - you just sit and wait. When you arrive the visa was GBP 9 if you wish to go to Cairo, otherwise you can get a free visa which allows you access to the Sinai region.
Something First Choice do which I thought was good is you didnt buy a visa on arrival, but then decide you want to goto Cairo - is they will take you on Saturday to the Israel border, so you can then get the right visa stamped into your passport and then take you back to the hotel - visa intact and able to get to Cairo.
One more thing about the hotel, is the have numerous water coolers around the grounds with plastic cups - included in the all in package, but the water is warm. Tip fill up your water bottles and then put it in the fridge in your room until later on. Not ideal, but you will have to think ahead to get ice cold water. If you ask at the Peanuts bar they have bottled water, but are mean with it! You have to ask for a bottle.
I think that sums up everything, a very very good hotel, rated as 4 star - its perhaps not as high standard as a Spanish or Cypriot 4 Star, but exceeds 4 star in Cuba, Greece and Turkey.
Any questions, email me at mattandvivmargerison@hotmail.com

The weather was beautiful, as was the hotel and its surroundings with canyons and the view of Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
How anyone could complain about the food in Chez Pascal I don't know, we went twice and the steak is possibly the best steak I've ever had and is their speciality.
The animation team do try very very hard and work impeccably hard to keep guests happy, but sometimes, as someone else said, some guests don't show any interest or appreciation.
The food was nice, but after 2 weeks, repetitive.
The hotel is spotless, we did have some problems communicating sometimes. Staff are very nice, most nights we rolled in after 3am, the staff at Peanuts stay open as long as they have customers.
Overall, I would recommend hotel without a doubt. I wouldn't say it was the best for young children as the kids club is quite minimal, but if you want relaxing holiday in a beautiful hotel with good food, lovely people amazing weather, this is for you. Enjoy!

The holiday was amazing value for money and would definitely go back!!
The hotel was very clean and rooms bright and comfortable. Excellent towel sculpting from the room staff.
The food was plentiful and enough variety to suit all tastes. We tried chez pascal one night which was very good and we received excellent service.
The location was beautiful with lovely views of the mountains and sea. The grounds are very well maintained and security guards keep a watch 24 hours a day....not a great job but they are always friendly and smiling.
The staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for you.
You are made to feel very special.
The animation team are very good and always something to do around the pool if you wish but never any pressure. It was pretty quiet when we were there so I think at times they had a hard job to find willing volunteers.
Great beach, with lovely pool and helpful staff.
snorkeling fantastic. Best place is if you walk left along beach to a pontoon with easy access to the water.
We are already looking to go back at the end of the year. BRILLIANT

| said: Just returned from the Three Corners and already trying to book to go back.had an absolutely fantastic time.
The staff can't do enough for you.
The rooms are really clean and have a fridge, TV. and hairdryer. They are air conditioned which you really need as is it so hot. The cleaner often makes animal shapes out of the towels which fascinated our 11 year old daughter.
A laundry service is available and is very cheap. We used it twice.
The food in the restaurant is good but did get a bit boring in the second week as they only seem to do a one week menu. Not a problem as you can excellent snacks which all come with chips and salad from the beach and pool bar. You do have to pay but on average £3.00. there is also a very good a la carte-you must visit - called Chez Pascal. The other hotels also have a la carte's which you can use-average price £15.00 per head for 3 courses including drinks.
The pool is fantastic though not that warm. Towels are provided at the pool and at the beach. There is a pool at the beach and if you buy lilos the towel man will store them down there for you. Ask if there are any there before you buy as we bought one and found out there were some there we could of used.
The entertainment isn't that good but adequate. Kids mini disco every night followed by family entertainment
then they play music if you want to dance. Look for the entertainment as some nights it's in front of the bar and others it is at the back of the hotel (out the front door and turn left). Water polo, volley ball, water gym etc in day time. You can also get a massage by the pool and at the beach.
We went on a trip to Israel but did this through a company called Longwood. In reception you'll find all the tour operators books. Look through and compare prices they vary a lot. Also ask Maxtours the taxi company who will take you almost anywhere. Another guest went to Cairo for £35.00.
Drinks are plentiful and available all day until 12.00. After that you can drink until 1.45 but are supposed to pay.......
Something we missed and heard about at the airport is that if you go to the beach take a walk left along the beach. You will see a walkway going into the sea from there you can see some fantastic marine life.
The airport is very tiny, once inside you can't smoke. If you get desperate give the man on the door £2 and he keeps look out for you. Take some tissues with you as there wasn't any toilet roll and the man on the door will hand you 2 squares (same on way in). Buy everything to take home before you leave, the airport has hardly anything there tea, crisps and chocolate available but expensive.
Back to the hotel. Walk about. Go in and out the alleyways you will find the shops not a lot to buy there is also a mini market. This is a lot cheaper than the shops for cigarettes don't forget immodium, most people had an upset stomach for a day or two. Nothing major but I paid £15 in the pharmacy for some tablets.
Very relaxing and can't wait to go back. Such a pleasure to go somewhere so untouched. If you love Spain don't go here.
The rocks and gravel as you get in the sea are quite sharp, however if you look for a hand written sign saying sea entrance it isn't too bad. Apparently the guy who does your towels took four months to clear this by hand - all for our benefit.

| said: We took a last minute to Taba Heights and the Three Corners, I had read the reviews and mostly agree with them.
The entertainment was disappointing but expected this as after reading reviews. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was kept well, reception staff messed up our checking in so we ended up with an upgraded duplex room which was spacious and comfortable.
The food was O.K plenty of choice but luke warm, the dine around option was good and we used this twice. The highlight has to be the beach pool, we and some friends used this every day. We all got the shuttle bus down to the beach (too far to walk) and the beach has a pool, sun beds and wind breaks everywere never packed.
Tip the pool boy and he made sure we had beds saved with towels everyday and he stored our lilos every night. There is a nice bar which serves food which is cheap, hot and plentiful. Bedrooms have hairdryers but no tea making and the coffee is diabolical around the hotel fridge and safe in rooms.
Water is available everywere but do take high factor sun cream it is very hot and dry there. There is no chance what-so-ever of the golf course being finished this decade so leave clubs at home. No mozzies which is a joy. Some small shops on site selling usual stuff but nothing else for retail therpy.
Trips out with first choice I found very expensive so did not bother.
For somewhere for a quite rest and relax it is fine but two weeks would have sent me mad. Nothing much for teenagers, young kids have a club which seems too work hard to look after them.
All in all o.k but not outstanding would not go back because of location. Beware of the airport, tiny duty free which stocks minimal stuff, no smoking once in and through customs, would hate to be delayed there which happens often.
Take loo roll as it was not supplied without paying for it in airport also smelt awful.

I was very disappointed after reading the reviews on this hotel as I found the reception staff very unhelpful and didnt speak very good english, I asked for a wake up call on two occasions and both times didnt receive them.
My 17 year old daughter was very upset by the unwanted attention from some of the hotel staff, we visited the al a carte restaurant which was possibly the worse meal Ive ever had and had to wait 2 hours for our food, we travelled with Longwoods and never once saw the rep we had to rely on a very nice lady who was the guest relation officer for any help.
On a positive note the hotel is as Ive said very clean and the staff work very hard, the lack of evening entertainment wasnt a problem as we went for a week of rest and relaxation, the beach is absolutely lovely and we had a great day at dolphin reef in isreal, I've travelled to Egypt many times so im very aware of the culture of this country but I feel there are better hotels than this one.

All of the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room was cleaned everyday, and they even left animals made from towels at the end of your bed and in the bathroom!
Didn't have one complaint about the food. There was plenty of selection at meal times, and the salad bar was just fantastic, even at 10pm even though it had been out since 7 the salad was always fresh.
The bar staff were particulary friendly. All drinks at the Peanuts Bar are all local beers, spirits and wines, but they have a good selection.
Watch out for the Tom Cruise look a like!
I wasn't all that bothered on this holiday about the entertainment, but I would say that this was the only part that would need improvement.
The Lads and ladies on the Animation team were great though. They played cards with us a few nights (teaching us some Egyptian games), and really made you feel welcome.
There is plenty to do around the pool in the day if you don't just want to bake in the sun. They do stretching in the mornings and aqua gym and water polo and volley ball twice a day. If you don't want to take part they don't make you and just like coming round having a chat.
I was up around 7ish most mornings to get a decent sun lounger, but if you are a late riser then the guy who gives out the towels will find you some spare beds and drag them to a space.
All in all a great place to go and I would definately reccomend it if you fancy a week doing not a lot.

| said: I stayed All Inc for 1 week in Feb. The hotel is very well cleaned throughout.
The food is a bit hit and miss, you either want to eat everything or you won't want any of it. Pasta is on the menu everyday.
The location of the hotel is ok, it does state it is away from the beach, but a shuttle is provided from first thing in the morning till sunset which is good because it is a 10 min walk to the beach but 30 min back up the hill to the hotel!!!!
Overall the staff were Ok, but if you are travelling alone then be aware that you will get more attention from the staff of the hotel and shops than you will probably want. All but 2 of the staff are male and along way from home.
Entertainment?? What entertainment is the answer to that. You also beware that there is only one bar open at night which is part of the All Inc, so all the guest have no choice were to go if you are All Inc. It is dull and boring. The alcohol is not great, and it does not serve snacks if you get hungry.
But if you do go there you must try Chez Pascal, it serves the best food I have ever tasted. Across from the Chez Pascal is a bar which serves great vodka drinks. These places need to be advertised more as they are in the Three Corners resort. You will recognise the waiter as he also works in the pool bar during the day.
It is having a golf course built there at the moment, once this is open I don't feel that this would be a good place to go to again as it really doesn't cope to well at the moment.

The hotel complex is huge, like a village in itself. We couldn't fault the service or cleanliness and you are treated like royalty.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate your every need.
The rooms were not only cleaned every day but even your personal belongings (clothes left on the floor from the night before) were folded or displayed artistically on your bed - great, but I remembered to hide my worn underwear after the first night!
The food was varied & very edible & I didn't hear of anyone at the hotel suffering from any stomach complaints which are quite common in Egypt. Local drinks which are included were fairly limited to the basics but nothing to complain about.
Organised evening entertainment is very hit & miss but if you are with a group of friends as I was, you can quite easily make your own fun (I think we were the entertainment that week). During the day, there are plenty of activities going on if you get fed up with laying in the sun on the nice padded loungers.
I must admit I was surprised that at this time of year, the sun disappears behind the mountains at about 3.30 and it's dark by 5ish but if you get up early you can still get a full days sun in as it is hot at 7am.
I would return to this hotel/resort tomorrow if I could - I had a fantastic time.

The only thing wrong was the rubbish entertainment, but you meet people out there, as everyones so friendly you make your own entertainment.
If you go you have to book the trip to cairo it great you see all the pyramids the sphinx, golds museums and loads more.
The pool is really nice but i did prefer the beach cause it was cooler down there and more peaceful. "do the snorkeling it so good" you see so much!
Overall the hoilday was really "fab" and we are now thinking about booking up for next year.

| said: 22/08/05 - 05/09/05 - Wow! This was the first holiday ever, when we've not been ready to come home at the end of the two weeks. We can't wait to go back.
We were slightly nervous when we arrived at Taba airport, to see all the luxury coaches lined up going to other hotels, then hidden behind them a mini bus (with the luggage on the roof!) that was going to the Three Corners. However our fears were groundless.
Upon arrival your luggage is taken to reception for you, where you're greeted with a cold flannel and a refreshing drink. (This is welcome, as the temperature was still in the 30's even at night!) You're then shown to your room, don't worry about your cases, somebody will bring them for you, (I'd suggest tipping the man that bring them about 20le) and left to relax. There's a bottle of water in your fridge which you can refill as often as you like from the chilled containers dotted around the resort.
The rooms are beautiful, all air conditioned and spotlessly clean. Throughout your stay the housekeeping manager will check up to make sure that everything is being done to your satisfaction. We had Muhammed cleaning our room, and he definately had a sense of humour, we came back to find the lamps dressed in caps and shades and messages written on the bed in petals! We tipped him each week (about 40le) and left him a pack of cigs which he was really pleased about.
The food throughout the holiday was fantastic, even though I'm vegetarian I never went hungry. The only critism I could give though, was that the food labels weren't always accurate, (Pasta with tomato sauce, may in fact contain minced beef!) There was always a choice of pasta and potatoes for the less adventurous along with salads, soups and freshly baked bread. I ate salad regularly and didn't get the dreaded Pharaohs revenge so I'm assuming it was washed in bottled water. The staff in the restaurant were again brilliant, with a somewhat wicked sense of humour, and the dessert chef deserves a medal!
The pool at the hotel is excellent, and if there are no sunbeds free, the man giving out the towels will find one for you. The animation team were unobrusive, if you didn't want to join in they didn't push. There is a kids club, which i understood was very good and there a few activities throughout the day (Yoga, Water Polo, Aqua Aerobics). However the entertainment is very low key and in the evenings if there is anything, it is generally over very early. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
In the evenings we generally went in to Peanuts bar, and chatted the night away. (We tipped 20le on the first night, then at odd intervals throughout the two week.) Be warned though, the measures get bigger the busier it gets! Again the Egyption sense of homour prevails with the staff pretending to drop glasses and having peanut fights when its quiet etc.
The pool by the beach is generally quieter, its rare for the beds all to be taken, and if you do go to the beach it's easy to jump back on to the shuttle bus and go back to the hotel for lunch if you feel like it.
The snorkelling is amazing, there is a sand bank about 30 yards out from the beach which follows the reef all the way down the coast. The variety of fish is just awe inspiring, we saw Lionfish, Turtles, Parrot fish, Eels, Trigger fish and a Crocodile fish to name just a few. If you are a keen snorkeller then I would definately recommend the trip from Waterworld on the Henry de Monfreid. This is an all day trip which goes to Farun Island, where as well as snorkelling, for an extra fee (about £20) you can do an introductory dive. You then sail home to arrive back about 4pm.
Waterworld also offer a variety of other activities including parasailing, canoeing, pedaloes, a glass bottom boat trip (well worth the money) and various dives.
There is a variety of trips on offer from the hotel, including Cairo, Eilat, Jerusalem, Mount Sinai and a shopping trip to Dahab. These are quite expensive though, by the time you've added on border taxes. We didn't bother with Dahab as we found everything we wanted at the shops behind the hotel. At the moment there are only a few (around 20) open, however there is space for more and I'd imagine that in the next few months this will become quite a nice shopping area. Whatever you do don't forget to haggle!
There were many little touches that made this holiday special. For example my partner had his birthday while we were away, and to our surprise on the day he received a phonecall from reception wishing him Happy Birthday and asking where he'd like his cake!
All in all this is an amazing holiday.

Apart from the food being the same almost every night, it was quite good - there was always something there that you would like and eat. The cleanliness was of very high standard.
The location overall was great as you could take a shuttlebus to the beach, which comes every half hour and only takes about 5mins.
The staff were always friendly and very helpful although service was someimes quite slow. I thought the entertainment team were amazing!!
There was stretching, waterpolo, aqua gym, beach vollyball and table tennis throughout the days, and in the evening there would be a mini disco for the children followed by an evening show, such as oriental show, belly dance or even just games for fun!
There also had the club dances for everyone to join in.
The key to enjoying the entertainment is to join in!!

Staff were friendly and helpful but were slow with service. Food was fine but repeative could have done with a bit of spice ,seating was diffcult for large groups.
Entertainment was the worst aspect of our holiday being virtually non existant of an evening, daily waterpolo aqua aerobics was ok. We all suffered upset tummies so take plenty of medication. Hotel needs to sort out entertainment as nowhere else to go.
Diving was excellent off Taba Heights with Waterworld. Would like to revisit in a few years to see if hotel could polish a basically good potential product.

| said: My wife and myself stayed at the three corners resort hotel and we must say we had a fantastic holiday, the staff were excellent and was always on hand with the drinks, the rooms was spotless and the views fantastic.
The food was of very good standard and had a huge choice to cater for every ones needs, the entertainment was very poor but this did not spoil our holiday at all.
I would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel, they are building this resort with a golf course, shops and a maximum of 20 hotels when this is complete we will definitely return to this hotel, do go you will not be disappointed.

| said: We stayed at the Three Corners from 14th to 21st July The hotel was very clean and the staff were great, very attentive, after just one day our waiter knew without being told what we liked to drink! The pool staff were very good and always on hand to put up the sunshades.
Food was of a very high quality but lacked variation, neither myself or my wife suffered upset stomachs.
The entertainment was pretty non-existant, apart from out last night when they put on an Egyptian show which was quite good.
We had a great holiday and would certainly stay at the hotel again.

Great weather, great views over Jordan, Israel and Saudi.
Great food, best I've tasted in Egypt in 4 holidays there.
Friendly staff.
Sea-life fantastic.
Evening entertainment very, very basic, but wasn't bothered about it anyway, daytime activities were fine if you wanted them.
Nice beach 1km away with shuttle buses around every 20 mins from around 9am - 6pm. only takes less than 5 mins to beach down a hill.
Hotel overlooking the golf course that was still being built but looks great.
